The food we had were generally very good, I particularly liked the cured meat, pickled vegetables and cheese items. Again, the advantage of being an upstream supplier shines here. Theres no doubt that the restaurant uses top tier ingredients. However, I am less convinced by the hot dish we ordered. The thing with cooking is, for simpler dishes, an assembly of the best ingredients will speak for itself, but dishes with more complex palete require the chef to achieve a balance of flavors. The taste profile in my opinion is rather thin here, and I attribute this to the fact that the kitchen staff is limited at this moment, the chef has to do most things on her own, and I am hopeful once they iron out the staffing situation things will improve.
