The guys working here are super nice. They work fast and are friendly and knowledgeable at answering my menu/ingredient questions. I love the smoothies here. You can easily customize them to make them as healthy (or not!) as you choose. The Angel Food smoothie (you can order it with or without turbinado, which is sugar in its earliest form-retains more flavor and natural molasses-, is the perfect strawberry banana smoothie. My daughter loves The Caribbean Way one- kinda like the Angel Food plus papaya. I appreciate that they don't use a ton of ice as a filler in their smoothies. They're cold, creamy, and delicious. So I had been wanting to try this place for a very long time, it's perfectly located across the street from my gym and I had a discount offer so this was the perfect time. I went on a Friday night after a 90 minute workout ‍ and in need of a pick me upper energy and post workout recovery drink. I would've given this business a five star rating because of the smoothie variety as well as flavors, but I had to deduct due to the cashier lack of informing me of the daily specials which on Fridays is BOGO and I came with my friend who also ordered a smoothie, and since being my first time here I had asked a lot of questions but unfortunately he never told me about the daily specials so be aware that they exist for your benefit. Super friendly staff matches the tasty products at this Mission location. I stopped in last week at the walk up window for my usual High Protein Coffee smoothie and the jovial manager took my order. I tipped my normal $5 since Covid times started. Another employee brought my smoothie with another small cup of extra she had left and some next visit discount coupons. I come here all the time because its fast and delicious and I still haven't had everything on the menu...lots of variety. My only criticism-I wish they had celery since celery juice is all the rage for the health benes. They are great at recommendations if you are stuck. "This is the worst smoothie I ever had", my husband states slurping his 40 ounce smoothie that cost $12 that was missing 1/4 of the smoothie. We usually go to a different Smoothie King but this one is closer to our house. Will never go back, was told the cup we had was actually 48 ounce when I asked why it was missing so much.. why isn't that an option in size then? The other smoothie was the wrong one. I love smoothie king, but I had a less than great experience at this location. One of the customers was an off-the-clock employee and was distracting all of the other employees from doing their job. She chit chatted with all of them so line moved very slowly and they had to remake both of our smoothies. Visited today after my workout at the gym and I had a great experience. The women who were working the place were friendly and I was able to substitute some of the ingredients (i.e. changing the coconut milk to almond milk). This place was just put in a couple months ago and I've made a habit to go here a few times a week, their smoothies are great and they live up to their brand name. I'm addicted to the Lean 1 strawberry and it's my go to drink, totally recommend. I was over in this area and needed a smoothie. This location is located in the corner, right before the light, in a strip. It's next to plato's closet and can easily be missed. The inside is clean a quiet, set up like most of the other locations. I was welcomed upon entry and helped quickly. Young lady took my order and got my smoothie loyalty number. Prices are consistent across the board. My smoothie was out before I got a chance to check out their merchandise. It was consistent with the other locations. I come to this location because it's close to home. I get smoothies several times a week. This location has issues with the staff getting your order right. They must have new employees . So I understand this. But after a month of smoothies tasting powdery, chunky, watery, and one was not even blended! I'm obviously not picky because I keep going back hoping they will get it right. BUT NO!!!! My drink is a VERY simple one! Get it together or I will start going to another location that cares about my business.
