We went on a Saturday morning during the Lenexa Farmers market. We were able to meet two of the owners and some of the staff and everyone was very nice and helpful. One of the owners talked us through the entire menu and explained the benefits of both the smoothies and teas. This business is associated with HerbalLife, so you see some of the advertising in the store. I really enjoyed the Hawaiian smoothie and the kids enjoyed their birthday cake smoothie. When I politely asked the employee for a bit more fruit, especially since there were only five blueberries in my bowl and plenty of room left, I was told that management has instructed staff to put no more than five blueberries in each bowl. They are not allowed to fill the bowls anymore. This is a lousy business practice, and it speaks volumes about how little you value your customers. There's a new açaí bowl establishment just miles away that offers BOGO days, a rewards program that actually counts, and bowls filled to the brim. You can keep your five blueberries. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.
