Ok but you rang it up, didn't ask anyone so how's then did you know you didnt have two of the six things you have on the menu? We then ordered house coffee which she then began writing our name on plastic drink cups. When we told her, those are regular coffees right? She said no your ordered iced. My girlfriend said NO, I ordered coffee and I said, "I'll have a coffee too". I never said iced ether and she threw a fit. We said you know what, make it 2 Togo coffees. She gave my girlfriend that leaked the entire time and the bottom of the cup was saturated like it was going to fall apart anytime. She has no business being in a customer service role. Not sure what her issue was. Was it we weren't regulars? Because if so, as a small business-good luck growing your business catering only to your 20-30 regulars. I will say, it was a solid cup of coffee though.

I haven't always been a big coffee drinker, but my girlfriend said there used to be a drink called the Hospital Hill. It's essentially the Honeycomb with Cinnamon. Ever since that day, I've been hooked (I prefer it made hot. Absolute game changer). Not only is the coffee good, but the staff is friendly, personable, and helpful which means a lot to me. There's a lot of staff to name, so I'll leave it off this review, but they have all been exemplary and I believe they make this place great. I highly suggest coming here and grabbing yourself a coffee. It's also a nice and relaxing environment to study or do homework. The lighting is dark enough that it's not interfering too much with whatever activity you're doing in the moment. I will definitely be returning here.

I ended up going back inside and found a table by that time while he was calling triple AAA. We had about an hour and 20 minutes left before they closed and my husband came in and told one of the barista about our car situation. We were worried that it wouldn't be picked up on time because there is a large metal gate that they lock off the parking lot, they also have accordion gates to lock in the front of the coffee shop. Thankfully, the tow truck came in time! But when I first was in the coffee shop and I stood in line, I was standing behind four people that were in their later 60s. I didn't realize that I was at the end of the line because they were the only people in line and they had no signage stating where to begin your order. So then when I figured it out because two other women walked to the correct side I got behind them and they graciously let me go in front of them. I was watching the interaction between the male barista with the older people, and I felt like he was short with them and frustrated because they had questions about their menu. Their menu is limited and even with myself going to many many coffee shops. It was somewhat of a challenge to find out actually what they had. I was looking at the tea selection and their coffee and they have a limited syrups and have no syrups for their teas. I believe that was probably the hold up with the older people trying to navigate what they have. When I got up to the counter, it was a different barista. It was a young woman, and the service was fine with her. They gave me a little stand with a number and another barista who did not have a good attitude brought out my latte and my husband's canned latte that is made from their business. I asked the barista if they had any Stevia and she said no they only had a simple sugar syrup. So she brought out a small restaurant style syrup carafe with a simple syrup and a tiny spoon. I asked if they had any to go cups because we were waiting for AAA and the original barista had said they only have to go jars with a lid and you had to leave $1.75 deposit. So I told her just to give me the latte in a regular cup because I didn't want to have to deal with getting a refund for that. That is one thing that I don't care for when it comes to coffee shops is not having a to go cup. There are many recyclable cups that can be purchased or degradable cups if their concern is the environment. My husband did not care for his canned latte. It was a bourbon vanilla flavor and it was I think $6.75 or $6.25 for a smaller can. I did like their latte, but for some reason, I kept getting lightheaded after adding their simple sugar syrup, which I thought was very odd. I do not have diabetes or any blood sugar problems. The coffee shop is pretty much an L shape with a variety of seating from tables and chairs to counter high tops and a couch. They also have some picnic tables outside that are under a covered patio. They have a variety of art on their walls and they also have bagged coffee for sale, but I found it to be exceedingly high priced. While the coffee was good for my latte, I would not go back because of the limited seating and the lack of barista friendliness. Even with people who I could tell were definitely regulars, when the regulars would give them a parting goodbye, they barely acknowledged them. I definitely prefer Anchor Island down the street.
