I downloaded the app and ordered ahead to save some time, only to learn they actually make your order when you arrive. I can see the pros and cons there, but it is something to keep in mind if you are in a hurry. When I got there, I hopped in the drive thru line. In hindsight, I probably should have gone inside since I was third in line and it took about 6 to 7 minutes. The person at the speaker was very soft spoken, and between that and some lawn care happening nearby, I honestly could not hear much. I assumed I was told to pull forward and just went with it. The part that really stood out to me, though, was the experience at the window. I pulled up and waited for about a minute with no acknowledgment at all. No eye contact, no "we will be right with you," not even a quick glance my way. I could see the team moving around inside, so I know they were busy, but it felt a little awkward just sitting there wondering if I was in the right place. When someone finally came over, they handed me my drink without saying a single word or making eye contact. No hello, no thank you, nothing. Then came the silent straw interaction where they just held one up and gestured at me. I figured it out, but it definitely caught me off guard. My food came out the same way, just handed over with zero communication. What made it more noticeable was that it was not just one person. All three employees I could see looked frustrated or upset, and there was just a really tense, unhappy energy behind the counter. I completely understand bad days, I have worked in the service industry for 20 years, but as a customer it felt very unwelcoming, especially for a first visit. As for the food and drink, they were just okay. I had the French toast sandwich, which was a bit underwhelming, and the Iced Lavender Berry Matcha did not quite have the punch I was hoping for. All in all, it was not a terrible experience, just not one that would bring me back. If I am going to spend that kind of money on a treat, I do want to feel at least a little welcomed while doing it. That said, I appreciated the first time reward on the drink. It definitely helped soften the experience a bit!

I normally don't like acai unless I'm in California, but this actually tastes closer to that level of freshness than any other acai ive had in Kansas. A few I haven't loved: The immunity support smoothie just tasted like orange juice. And the power bowl only tastes like vanilla whey imo; I couldn't finish that one. Today when I went in, it was packed. There were probably 15 people waiting ahead of me and it was just the son and dad working. They were clearly overwhelmed and rushing to get everyone's things done. But they stayed calm and helpful with the customers, I could tell the man felt really bad. It was no biggie for me to wait, however I don't think I had as long of a wait as others ahead of me. I think they handled the amount of customers vs. the amount of staff as well as they could. Regardless of having to wait 15-20 minutes today, I've had a good experience every time I've been in and normally it's a 5 minute wait. And of course, the neon sign is adorable!

We went on a Saturday morning during the Lenexa Farmers market. We were able to meet two of the owners and some of the staff and everyone was very nice and helpful. One of the owners talked us through the entire menu and explained the benefits of both the smoothies and teas. This business is associated with HerbalLife, so you see some of the advertising in the store. I really enjoyed the Hawaiian smoothie and the kids enjoyed their birthday cake smoothie. I kept hoping that once you were more established, you'd start showing some appreciation to your customers. But today was the last straw. My bowl wasn't even filled to the top. When I politely asked the employee for a bit more fruit, especially since there were only five blueberries in my bowl and plenty of room left, I was told that management has instructed staff to put no more than five blueberries in each bowl. They are not allowed to fill the bowls anymore. This is a lousy business practice, and it speaks volumes about how little you value your customers. There's a new açaí bowl establishment just miles away that offers BOGO days, a rewards program that actually counts, and bowls filled to the brim. You can keep your five blueberries. I'll be going elsewhere from now on.

As I was leaving, I said " Have a nice day!" and they just looked at me... The coffee was OK, the service was reasonably quick, but that place has a black cloud for ambience. As a middle aged person, I still remember working for tips, although back in my day counter help didn't get tipped. That being said, I think I'll stick to the Mom and Pop coffee places.
