I couldn't taste either the vanilla or the coffee, and there were some strange white bits floating throughout the drink that made it even more off-putting. To be fair, the service was friendly, the drink was made quickly, and the shop itself seemed like a nice place to sit down and get some work done. The atmosphere was pleasant and I could see why people enjoy spending time there. Unfortunately, none of that could make up for the coffee. Maybe, I'd find it appealing if a coffee shop had an open mic night for poetry and prose, sort of how the Beatniks did it in the late 50s to 60s, but that's just me.
