Pictures speak louder than words. I've gone to other Smoothie King locations that actually know what they are doing. I'm not sure what is going on at this location. The young guy at the register was okay (not rude), but was clueless about the menu and what we were ordering. Another young lady was on the back moving lids, cutting fruits, and what it seem as just moving around to pass time. After we ordered, more people came in. So the guy took their orders. It was 3-4 people after us. He took the orders and we were waiting for them to start preparing our smoothies. The young girls didn't attempt to help with anything as the store kept very busy. So the young guy running the register and the smoothie station was rushing. To the point the ingredients in my smoothie were not blended. I've attached a photo of it. I tried to drink it, but couldn't finish. Terrible experience, I do not recommend it. read more

I've been a loyal customer for 10 months, ordering multiple times a week for my family. But 8 out of 10 times, our smoothies are delivered without straws. Drivers blame the store, saying they're told to grab order from the cooler and didn't know they had to grab straws. I've attempted to call store to remind them (and no one EVER answers), even gave feedback when going in person, but nothing has changed. I just got another order with no straws! This specific store is terrible. I used to work next door and walked over to ask (because no one picks up the phone) if someone would be able to deliver food to me since I worked by myself, to which the employee promised more than once that he would take care of it. I offered to tip and asked if they could not give it to an Uber eats person to in order to skip paying the extra fees. Instead, the order took over an hour, though it's a few seconds away of a walk, and an Uber driver picked it up and delivered it to me... (so I payed over $20 for a $13 bowl). They do not communicate! I also tried ordering to my house (which I should've learned the first time) and one Uber driver canceled the order first after much time had passed, so I tried again and after waiting I messaged the driver and he said they were missing something, he asked, and they said they were missing the main ingredient. From experience in the food industry, when this happens you notify the customer and/or cancel the order, but instead they made the poor Uber driver wait and not receive money, wasting their time and my time, by simply Not updating the app. It is extremely simple to do. Our first Açai bowl here; we are always searching for the best one! We both got the PB Swizzle and I was hoping I could have the Gluten Free granola they have listed on their website. They could not guarantee it so we got it on the side as extra for the second bowl. Sad to say, halfway through our bowls, there was granola in both of them. We were very disappointed! I have no idea how much I ate and, needless to say, I can blame my miserable stomach ache on this bowl. I was also shocked how different the blueberries were from one bowl to the other. It was obvious that one had plump fresh blueberries and the other bowl had tiny frozen blueberries along with diced frozen strawberries in both bowls. I think the trick at any Smoothie King is to ask questions, because some of their products can be sugar heavy. I love this particular store because the employees are awesome. They give you advice, are knowledgeable about their products, and work at a fast pace. Also, they're always willing to modify an existing menu item to suit your needs. I come to this smoothie king almost everyday and the experience is always fantastic. The variety of the smoothies offered is phenomenal. The staff is extremely friendly and they offer honest suggestions tailored to each customers preferences. You can always rely on getting in and out quickly even if it's packed. Sean (the guy with the dreads) makes the BEST smoothies on the East Coast, he is a master blender tender, THE smoothie king. My go to smoothie is the Green Tea Tango with Pineapples. 10/10 recommend this smoothie king over any other. I love this smoothie king, I wish it was closer to me. I live down south in Cutler Bay and after the gym I drive down to this smoothie king location. I'm a regular and when I walk in they already know what I'm having. The staff is friendly, they are quick to make the smoothie but when it gets busy (which it does) it can take them a bit longer. In terms of parking, it's a shopping center so parking will not be hard to find. They have $5 Friday's which is great if your in the area and crave a smoothie! Just as another reviewer said, I love Smoothie King, but this location is terrible. The whole staff is rude. No one ever says hello or welcomes you when you walk in. None of them seem capable of smiling or even making eye contact with the customers. I've been in there without any of them making eye contact with me or ever so much as a single word being uttered to me, besides someone calling out my order for me to pay. On two separate occasions, one a few years ago and one about two weeks ago, a customer that placed their order after me was served their smoothie before me. Different employees, but still rude and inconsiderate. It's too bad, because this is the closest location to my house.
