Not sure why this location has such terrible reviews but I had a great experience today. I was able to order and receive my drink within minutes and the girl working was very nice and polite! The only reason why I give 4 stars is because my favorite smoothie flavor didn't taste 100% right like it was lacking some flavor. But overall it was still a good drink and a good experience. By far the best customer service I've ever had at a smoothie king. The employee here remade a very poorly made smoothie from the other nearby location I ordered just 10 minutes prior. Does someone want to explain the dry erase board that is directly across the drive up window with tasks for the staff written in blue, and one of them says "go light on protein". Probably not the best place for that to be if you are going to "go light on protein" in people's smoothies. read more

I just love the service that is given at the Manchester Expressway Smoothie King AND at the Macon Road Smoothie King store. I just wish the Corporate office would update their menus to reflect NEW smoothie king flavors. IE: Heavenly Blueberry smoothie. Also create a Coconut Smoothie drink and call it the Coconut Breeze made with real coconut water, coconut milk, pineapple juice and finely chopped coconut pieces ! Then create a Margarita Smoothie made with Lemon & Lime juice, crushed kiwi and lemon pieces. . How about a Lemon Twist Smoothie made of Lemonade juice, lemon juice (one teaspoon full) crushed ice and a scoop of lemon ice cream! Plenty ideas to add but time has ran out for today! Placed an order through the online app for this location. Have ordered here at this location with no previous issues before. I pull up up to the drive through menu, say "hello" numerous times, & nothing. As I pull around, I see the drive through window and the window you can walk up to are both gated/locked, yet I still see the employee's car parked. Hours clearly state this location is still open. Did not receive my order & have not received a refund. Just poor service overall. read more

Highly disappointed at my visit at this particular location this past Sunday. I pulled into line to place an order and after five minutes noticed that the line was not moving at all. I had five cars in front of me and four cars behind me at this time when I finally was able to get within distance to place my order. Unfortunately, when I drove my vehicle forward there was a a hand written sign that said, "cash only" which further caused my irritation from waiting at this point 20 whole minutes and a check card was all I had for payment. I spoke with the employee that was working and told her that I would like to back my vehicle up so that I could exit the parking lot, but was unable to because a vehicle was parked there. It just so happen to be hers. She told me she was the only employee working and that she couldn't leave the building. SAY WHAT?!?! I thought to myself... as if she was in breach of a security issue for herself... the back of the buildings door was wide open... anyone could have walked in on her. Furthermore... How is it "ok" for an employee to use an exit lane of an establishment as private parking? I know that exit lane isn't for "EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH" The young lady was obviously overwhelmed, and frustrated herself from the growing line of customers and apparent technical issues that day. However, a customer should never feel trapped to remain somewhere or feel forced to have to stay and wait for the line of cars before them to be serviced just to exist. She eventually stormed out of the building to remove her car and park it in a proper parking space, while doing so she had her head set on and continued to express herself for everyone to hear... in doing so she actually had ANOTHER employee sitting in the parking lot the whole time. When I was finally able to leave several other cars followed behind me. In my quest for a smoothie I then went to the location on Macon Road, however there check card services where down that day too, but thankfully the allotted exit lane was available. read more

Horrible customer service. The woman at the drive-thru constantly forgot what I ordered and had me repeat what I had said. Employees had no motivation whatsoever. As the customer, I should feel welcomed however, that wasn't the case. Smoothie King should invest more into acquiring quality employees who will do the job right and not half-assed. read more
