Came for a late lunch on a Monday. I think this place is mostly for take outs, as there were limited tables for dinining in. However, dining in is possible. Late lunch on a Monday, typical poke bowl place setup where we order and walk along the ingredients and can add/modify as needed with some options with added charge. I had Spicy Ahi Tuna / Spicy Salmon Bowl from the signature bowl section. I would say it was good! Volume was good, seasoning was just right with plenty of various ingredients that all mixed well together visually and also tastewise. read more

Build Yo Poke - Spicy Ahi Tuna / Spicy Salmon Bowl $14.50 6/22/2026 - Poke Near Me - Columbus, Georgia

After an amazing lunch at their other store (Build Yo Salad), we just had to go to get some Poke. They greeted us warmly and offered us a sample of one of their special poke bowls. This sample was such a generous portion that all four of us were able to try it. The fish was so fresh and good. I ordered a medium poke with spicy salmon and spicy tuna and had her make it with all the ingredients she made the sample with. It was so delicious and like their other shop, generous portions. I'd come here often if I lived locally. read more

Super friendly and helpful staff. My first time there they explained everything and gave tips on what pairs well with what. Super clean and a large array of options. Everything is Fresh. 10/10 will go back read more

You have to have negative brain cells to work here. There was zero customers when I walked in and the meats I wanted were running low, fine it's almost closing time. I asked for 2 large bowls, which was 6 scoops of protein total--there was only enough for 4 scoops total. At the end, the guy still tried to charge me for 2 large bowls opposed to 2 medium bowls. He keeps insisting he can add the extra scoops, no thanks I just wanna leave at this point with what I have. I don't want to wait for you to mix up some more protein which was clearly very hard for them to keep replenished. How are you so low on the main source of the bowls with 2 people working??? It literally comes in bags you tear open and voila, it's ready! I've been there before with 1 woman working, and I was in and out in 3 minutes with a decent sized meal. Of course, 2 men can't handle the same workload. Then they had the nerve to say "it's just the difference of medium and large"......yeah, 4 bucks total plus some more tax for 2 whole scoops I didn't receive!!!!!! I'll never be back, I hope they shut down like all the other horrible places here in Columbus. read more

Best poke bowl! I've eaten pokey in Paris, which is the best poke bowl in the world outside of Hawaii and I would go here every week if I could afford it read more

I've tried about 3 different poke spots including this one, the one at Banks Food Hall, and Pokémon in Opelika. I saw people rave about this spot so I had to try it out and definitely did not disappoint! I am a HUGE foodie and I was surprised to see the plentiful options you could add to build your perfect poke bowl. The service was also amazing. The menu was easy to read and follow. And my first time experience here was a breeze. The restaurant itself is small and not a place you want to go sit and eat, but rather take it to go. I could tell their fish quality was good and I did not get sick or feel sick after devouring my bowl! I'll definitely be back and will be recommending this spot to others. read more

Delicious food! Every time Ive visited, the service has been decent and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is fairly small, but overall is nice and clean for the most part. I wouldn't recommend coming with a party of more than 4 people. It seems better to order from here rather than eating in. Still, delivery is delicious as well! read more

Build Yo Poke - Small Bowl - Poke Near Me - Columbus, Georgia

Food was great!!! Best poke bowl in Columbus. Today was my first visit, so the protein portion threw me off a bit. But medium is the average size. Definitely is a to-go type of place. Service was quick, kind, and attentive. read more

Very dissatisfied with my meal. The portions have just gone way downhill, they don't put any sauce on the bowls anymore, it's very sad. Servers we're very cold and rude. This place has gotten so stingy, they are charging $.75 per any extra cream cheese cube, even when their menu advertises getting "any toppings." Build yo poke used to be a great establishment, but I think it is now unfortunately on the downward spiral. Probably won't be returning :/ read more

Customer service was amazing and it made it very welcoming the second we walked in. Food was amazing and at a good price. The restaurant was also very clean! read more

Amazing place! The food was fresh and the staff was kind and helpful. Can't wait to go back! So many different choices and combinations that it'll be difficult to choose what to eat each time because I want it all! read more

Build Yo Poke - Poke Bowl with Ahi Tuna and Spicy Salmon - Poke Near Me - Columbus, Georgia

Great service from the staff. They're willing to give their recommendations (which is typically towards a build your own rather than a set which won't be as customizable). From my understanding there's one other poke place in Columbus and this is my preferred poke location. Portion is good and again, if you're doing a build your own, you're allowed to ask for extra toppings; at least from what is included. Any additional costed toppings/proteins they'll usually inform you but it doesn't hurt to ask before you add it in. It's a smaller side for the establishment so you could eat there but it's just easier to grab and go. Now that we're getting into warmer weather I recommend bringing a cooler bag just to keep the fish at a safe temperature. Speaking of which, fish tastes fresh and you can tell that the employees have tried combinations as well (bonus in my opinion). Have been and will be back! read more

I've been to several Poke spots across the US as I travel for work. Great business model going for the BuildYoPoke. I hope to see them continue to expand. I can tell the owner is passionate and engaged. The food was delicious and fresh. The customer service was extremely detailed and attentive. I can't speak on other's experiences but our portions were generous. read more

I'm an islander and I approve. Lol I found this place yesterday and I was so blown away especially since it's Columbus, GA. Fresh tuna!!! Packed full of flavor and so many healthy options, I.e., kale, brown rice, etc. They even had Calamansi!! Price was fair and the atmosphere was upbeat and CLEAN. Not like other places in town. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants delicious, healthy food. Thanks for opening up and giving me a real place to eat in town. Ha ha read more

Stumbled upon this place by accident, and I'm so glad I did! I got the house poke bowl with brown rice, cooked salmon, tofu, and added masago. They offer sample bowls, which was great because I never would have thought to get that bowl. I also got a Lychee green tea boba with tapioca, there where lychee bits at the bottom, and the boba was very warm, probably some of the best boba I've ever had! read more

This place has fresh healthy bowls and is impossibly clean. Sauces are delicious. Would come here everyday if I could.

First time eating there and everything was super fresh. The sample bowl she made us took me by surprise. She asked what we liked fixed it and said here you go. The spicy salmon bowl was amazing. We ate the sample and went right back to create our own bowls. Extremely clean and everyone was super friendly and made great suggestions on everything. I'm hooked. Refreshing yet filling. read more

This place just opened July 12th, and is only the 2nd Poke place in Columbus that I'm aware of. The variety is much higher than that of PokeSun, the price is better, and I would argue the quality as well. The owner did his research, even visiting Hawaii to see how it's really done. Super nice guy, great staff, very solid poke. read more

Super solid spot. Not quite as good as what you'd find on the west coast, but definitely gets the job done. Awesome staff too

Great food and great service! Nika was very knowledgeable and helpful. Highly recommend!

My wife and I met for lunch this week. Because it was our first time, the bowl builder built us a sample bowl. It was delicious! Ingredients were fresh and delicious. Service was fast and friendly: something that is becoming more rare these days. We will definitely be back and will recommend Build Yo Poke to friends and family. read more

Clean small place and pleasant staff. A bit pricey and serving portion is inconsistent.

Unfortunately the portions of food is ridiculously tiny! I cringed watching the lady scarcely prepare my bowl. I almost walked out and the bill for a small bowl... $14 bucks it was good... what little I was served. read more

I came the other day and I totally love this place. There are a lot of protein choices and more bowl sizes, they also offers poke burrito and cheaper than the one downtown. The owner seemed nice. They're many different drinks options too read more

The food is delicious and the price is very reasonable. My 10yo and I chose small rice bowls and customized them with a ton of add-ons. This was certainly not a "small" meal. All the food is fresh and so beautiful. Why isn't there a picture with my review? We could not wait to dig in! The owner and staff are friendly and they will even prepare you a very generous sample for your first visit. I highly recommend this place! read more
