I'm not sure what all the bad reviews below are for. I went in and had a great experience at this Southpark meadows location on Tuesday around noon/lunchtime. When I entered the store, the floor and tables were all clean. There was only one person in front of me, so I ordered within a few minutes of entering the store, then got my smoothie less than five minutes later as they made it really quickly. And the banana boat smoothie was delicious! Five star rating to this place not only for cleanliness and smoothie quality, but also because when I bought the below snacks they offered to help me out and make sure I got what I needed (some of the snacks are gluten free for my fiancé, while other ones are not). I don't go to smoothie king often, but this location did a good job and I'll be back there again at some point. read more

I refuse to ever return to this place of business. For a multitude of reasons. It was 11/22 and I ordered a PB swizzle through the app. When my fiancé arrived to pick up my already paid for order, they said they lost power and couldn't do anything about it. The girl there was extremely rude with an attitude. I called multiple times to discuss getting my refund and of course, all calls go unanswered. Finally, I had to dispute this charge with my bank since they decided to STEAL. The customer service is terrible, and of all the times I went, I only saw one young kid trying to do it all while everyone else just hung around doing nothing. I tried ordering via the phone app outside the store from my car because I had my pup in the backseat and did not want to leave my car running unattended, but the app kept saying "store is closed", so I tried calling. No one answers the phones at this location. I got parking right in front of the door so I could leave the car running and dash inside quickly while keeping an eye on it. Inside the cashier told me their phones don't work and they're unplugged. The cashier was young. I could tell she didn't want to be there. Customer service wasn't stellar, but they were fast and the smoothies were good. Taste and consistency were good. I ordered a fruit bowl online; my friend ordered a smoothie at the same time online. It said my bowl would be ready at 11:17. My friend's smoothie was ready at 11:10. I waited and waited, and the lady never made my bowl, at 11:47 I went up there and asked her how much longer it would be for my bowl. She said I'm by myself and I have all these smoothies coming in and bowls take too much time so you will just have to wait for it. I said so you are going to make all the smoothies that keep coming in before my bowl. She said the bowls take too much time. I said I just want a refund; she said you can do it on your app. I then told her it does not give me an option she said I'm by myself and can't stop to get you a refund. I stood there and said so are you going to make my bowl. She then started talking on her air pods. About 6 minutes later she said you will get a refund in 3 to 5 business days. I asked for a confirmation number for the refund she said it will come to your email. I then told her I haven't gotten an email she said well its not going to come with you just standing there it takes time. She was extremely rude. I understand she was working by herself; however, you should make the orders as they come in. I do not recommend smoothie king and will never go back. Smoothie King overall is a great place to get a great treat. My experiences for the past 15 years have been awesome. What I saw today at this location was undesirable to say the least. Service was slow, the two female employees looked unkept as if they just got out of bed from the farm tending to animals and then came to work. The store appeared slightly the same as well. I was glad to see that one of the girls wasn't fixing my order because as she was getting the ice from the bin to place in the blender her straggly filthy looking hair was going into the bin. Placed a mobile order, was there 2 minutes past the time it said it it'd be ready. Saw 2 other mobile orders ready, but mine wasn't there. I went to the front cashier area to ask about my mobile order and showed her my phone, but she essentially ignored it and said "it should be down there". When I said it wasn't, she just stared blankly at me without saying anything. No apology, no "oops! We can restart that" or anything until I was tired of waiting through the silent treatment and asked when I could expect it to be finished. It was like she started to wake up to the situation and realize she was at work--then she restarted it. After the process was completed, she set it down at the pick up counter without saying anything just gave me a dirty look. I had to ask if it was mine rather than her say "you're all set" or whatever. I worked as a barista for 5 years and this attitude was super unnecessary, the lack of helpfulness with mobile orders was ridiculous. I've been twice and have tried both flavors, each one has given me intestinal distress and literally runs right through me within 2-4 hours after consuming. I've been doing keto for over a year so this is not the result of newly starting keto. I looked at the ingredient list to see if I could identify anything that doesn't agree with me, and I see nothing except for their "Keto protein blend" but they don't say what's in that blend. I came by South Park Meadows Austin location and younger cashier with super long lashes took order. I asked her a question around low sugar suggestions and after 2nd question she rolled her eyes. I asked her if I was bothering her and she said "you asked to many questions so yes". She started to make the $18 worth of smoothies and she had a major problem with work I guess. I canceled the order and other cashier could not even process the refund. They gave me a $18 gift card? Funny thing is my Wife did not want to get down because she said she also had a bad experience with the afternoon team that works there. I spoke to the supposedly Region Manager on the phone who would not give me the owners number. I told Naya I was done after 3 bad experiences. She said she would address. I sent her a text and asked if I was still looking for a job? Total joke!
