This SK stays busy! Staff makes delicious smoothies and my family and I have enjoyed our smoothies we order from here. I like that the app will give me deals like BOGO free smoothies which makes it more affordable! I also like all the healthy options including low sugar and/or high protein-something for everyone! Most of the workers there have an attitude might mess up your order and give you a hard time when they are the ones that made the mistake. Only Mo and Shan are friendly and efficient. I agree with a lot of the reviews here that the drive-thru is slow. Just tried this place for the first time ever today and it did take a long time to even be acknowledged, then a while to get my smoothie also. Although, this might've been a good thing for a noob like me as the menu is actually pretty extensive. I'm used to Jamba Juice where I'm from, but I'm not a fan of all the extra sugar in their smoothies. I was pleasantly surprised that SK has a lot of sugar free and low carb options. I plan on looking over the nutritional facts more carefully another time, but at a glance, they definitely have healthier options than Jamba overall with a focus on protein, fiber, and total wellness. I ordered the 20 oz. Slim N Trim Strawberry smoothie, which is apparently Stevia sweetened. So yummy! I would definitely order this again. It was like a strawberry vanilla shake but with way less guilt. Obviously not a good location to go to if you're in a hurry, but it was no issue for me this time. The last time I went it was 30 minutes until closing and they wouldn't answer the drive through or let me order inside. This place has lost my patronage and respect!! Don't know why this places gets a lot of negative reviews, but I have been coming to the Henderson Mill Rd smoothie king for years and i can tell you that all of the smoothies I've gotten has been very, very tasty and up to standard this location is technically the only one I go to due to it being the only one closest to me. Small smoothie joint thats a stand alone store in the Briarcliff Village plaza along with Chipotle, TJ Maxx, Shoe Carnival, Panera, Publix, etc. This location has a drive-thru as well as walk-ins. Service is friendly and fairly swift. It gets busy around lunch time on weekdays so understandable. Otherwise, it's a clean store with good health inspection score of 96A as of April 2014. read more

First time coming here today although it's one of the closer locations for me. I came in with a friend around 3:30 pm and there were only two workers. This location has a drive-thru window which many uses, but we came inside. It was kind of confusing where you order since there were two cash registers upon entering. The one right in front of the door seems to be dedicated to drive-thru orders. If you walk towards the menu display, there's another register tucked in the corner. Service is really slow here. It took a good 5 mins for us to be acknowledged and another minute to place our order. And another 7-10 mins to get our drinks. I believe there need to be at least three people: one for drive-thru, one to make the drinks and another to take in-store orders. The Strawberry Mango ($4.99/reg) was delicious! Fairly low in calories and very yummy and refreshing. Typically, I'd order Caribbean Way ($4.29) which is equally fruity and good. But I wanted to try something new this time. Didn't regret it! Shortly after we received our drinks and in the midst of grabbing for straws, I smelled smoke. When I looked over to my right, one of the blenders had a huge cloud of smoke coming from it. Oh my gosh. Needless to say, we hurried right out before any fires started. Overall, I have no complaints about the quality of our drinks. The regular/small size is filling for me. But on Fridays, 32oz (medium) drinks are only $5!! So make sure to stop by! However, I probably won't be visiting this location again. Nonetheless it is really disappointing how slow the service is and the poor attitude of all employees. I have seen a lot of people come and go, but it doesn't seem to get any better.
