The staff is the best part. Everyone I talked to was super knowledgeable and actually willing to help instead of just pointing. Need vitamins? They have it. Need meat? They have that too. This wellness store carries a bit of everything. Their herb wall pretty much has it all. From Ashwaghanda to chamomile, you name it. They also carry Cha alkaline water. IYKYK. To me it's like a mini Whole Foods/ Sprouts but a little better since the vitamins and foods come from small businesses or farmers in Georgia. Thank you for yesterday with your time, insight & assistance. All of the employees work in sync with positive energies which made my quick stop end up being 30 minutes. There are so many new additions (I've only been gone a decade), especially with the cooking/baking ingredients as well as the holistic, CBD/THC wellness products. I picked up a new tincture of Elderberry & couldn't believe the $4.50 price tag...a good balance of the berries & black elder tree/flowers. I got 5 different snacks as well, total price under $26. The Organic Cafe that's adjacent to the store is still thriving with a lot of Vegan options & now offering virtual cooking classes. I visited Nuts n' Berries, a health food store, attached to a restaurant, Souper Jenny, in Brookhaven yesterday. I saw an older woman with a huge dog enter the store, that has NO "dogs allowed" sign on the door. Federal law allows for Service Animals, NOT pets. I immediately approached two workers who passed the buck to the "manager." As I was waiting for the manager, the dog was touching its wet nose on food products, and shoved its head inside a basket of food. The incompetent manager replied "yes we allow dogs," she did not specify "service dogs" as required by LAW. Do not shop here. I stumbled across this place as I was looking for organic food dyes. I don't think I found it here, but I did get to peruse this very interesting store. 1) CBD: this is your go to place for CBD apparently. You would think everyone here is obsessed. There's even CBD products for your dog. Not kidding. I stepped into the store and heard a store personnel talking with a couple about CBD. They carried that conversation for, I kid you not, 45min, while I was exploring around that was all I heard in the background: CBD, CBD, CBD. 2) Kombucha: there's several barrels of these and you can ask for samples! This was pretty cool. There's of course, CBD in some of the kombuchas. 3) Organic/vegan foods to go: I used to like going to Mom's Organic to get foods to go, like the little containers of hummus or vegan chicken salad, etc. So I was thinking to grab lunch here before I hit Costco. But I took a look at the prices and decided it was better to just fatten up at Costco. While MOM's you could expect prices around $3 to $8 for a decent meal, each entree/wrap/container here was $8-$12! So, this place is practically like MOM's, maybe a bit smaller, more cozy, with a cafe next door (Souper Jenny's), but whoever's patronizing this place on a daily or weekly basis must be loaded, because it's $$$! read more

I love, love LOVE this store!!!! I've never been disappointed looking for something to find they don't carry it (i.e Spirulina, Ashwaganda, Royal Jelly)... Cody there is the bomb.com! Sooo super friendly and knowledgeable, it's very apparent he loves his job and is really committed to spreading the message of well being by way of the products they offer. I've been here a few times over the years and its a nice alternative to some of the options in the area. If you are looking for a quick sandwich and side or some hummus and raw veggies, that are local and fresh made then this is a spot that will satisfy that craving. Each time I have gone in, the menu is a little different, which doesn't bother me one bit. Sometimes the line and wait is a little longer, but I have come in some days and popped in and right back out, so it really just depends. Don't come here expecting extra mayo, heavy cream, extra butter..etc. Think lean, healthy with a focus on quality fuel food for your body. Service has always been polite and attentive but can sometimes get flustered and confused when the crowd backs up....not really a complaint, more like an observation to consider. read more

A nice local natural food place. Nuts & Berries is an small, but inviting natural food store with a cafe. I was warmly greeted when I walked in and the lady at the front was very helpful. Although you won't get a huge selection of items like, let's say, Sevanada, it's like walking into a neighborhood market run by a friend or family member. The bulk section was fairly small, but I was pleased to find nutritional yeast flakes. They also have spices, vegetarian capsules and more. In the freezer section, they had cold drinks and a few snack items. My only complaint is that is prices are sky high, even higher than most other comparable natural food markets. The nutritional yeast flakes were $20/pound. Ouch. A cookie or brownie went for $4 and about the same for a drink too. I didn't walk out with much due to the expensive prices. I still liked my visit since the staff was so friendly and helpful. read more

My husband and I stopped next door to have lunch and decided that we would run in here for a few minutes. I was very surprised to see all the natural items that they had there. They even had a concentrated cranberry juice. My great-aunt's doctor recommended that she use the pure form of cranberry juice, so this would be helpful for her and last quite a bit longer. A great little place that I'd been remiss not to visit before yesterday. Super NPWH and thanks to the dinner Emily R. organized on Sun, I met one of the store managers and decided to drop in yesterday. Nuts n Berries has been around and owned by the same family since I was a little girl and it is a go-to spot for all things natural. Coconut oil, salve for getting rid of leg and foot cramps (can't remember the name but I need to get some of that stuff!), all kinds of soaps and lotions for specific skin types and needs. Next time I'm doing a real stock up, I'm going by - maybe a switch from my usual Aveda/Burts Bees combo would be a good change! Note- Brookhaven Bistro is separately owned than Nuts n Berries, though attached. The menu looks great and I want to try their homemade pimento cheese soon to see how it stacks up to my fave Palmetto Cheese. Worth the trek to north Brookhaven if you're looking for health products at reasonable prices. read more

When I went to Oglethorpe University, this place was my salvation. Located about a mile from the campus, I could get a tasty veggie lunch ( I always got the tofu salad sandwich ) and food for dinner after class. It is nothing compared to Return To Eden, the big veggie grocer a few miles away, but it always did the trick when I needed something to eat and did not want to deal with the insane Buckhead traffic. Basically, it is a veggie grocer and a cafe, and they have delicious offerings on both sides of the business. It is definitely worth a look to see what they have if you aren't in the mood for Buckhead traffic! read more

The ladies who work there are so knowledgeable about most anything and if they don't know they take the time to look it up for you. All the ladies are wonderful there, but Ms. Sonia is a jewel and a wealth of knowledge who went the extra mile to assist me in getting my health back on track. She went out of her way to help me with a program that is sustainable throughout my life. Her kindness, patience and time to care about my concerns was priceless. I really like Nuts 'N Berries. I have been going there off and on for about 10 years. It's been around since my early childhood when my family first moved to Dunwoody. I shop there every so often to get things that are hard to find elsewhere, such as REAL coconut oil (i.e. not fractionated), quality flaxseed oil, and other things of that nature. They also sell some pretty good natural hair- and skincare products (I was pleased to find that they carry some Aubrey Organics conditioner). On most of my visits, the staff has been extremely cheerful and helpful. I'd complain about the high prices, but duh... it's a natural food store! I feel like their prices are reasonable for the natural-foods market niche. And it's on the cleaner and less-smelly side than many natural groceries I've visited. It may not have the selection of a larger store like Return to Eden, but it's like a comfortable old friend to me. (I have yet to try the cafe... someday soon, I need to do that.) read more

This tiny place packs a punch, especially if you want to peruse vitamins, supplements, powders and more!! I like how their selection is so different from whole foods and Sevananda. I got a delicious fresh green juice at their cafe and enjoyed the calm ambiance in the cafe, as I listened to jazz. I could easily become a regular here. read more

When I lived in Decatur, I made the trek out to Rainbow (still love that place), but now i get my organic/natural/hippie goods at Nuts n B. Love that they're a natural foods place with enough neon to be in Vegas. They carry all of my products (shampoo, beauty, Progest) plus a decent amount of food. Not a full grocery, but good enough for snaxx and small stuff. Conveniently located and the blond chick has been helpful more than once. read more

The Brookhaven Bistro at Nuts and Berries is awesome. I just discovered it this week...I've eaten there twice for lunch already and I think it's safe to say that they have some of the healthiest food in Atlanta. Yesterday for lunch I had the Wild Alaskan Salmon with Black Beans and Brown Rice for $8.00, and it was insanely delicious. It had onions and tomatoes and greens and who knows what else, all with a spicy Chipotle sauce. It's in the cooler on the right with the drinks as you're waiting in line. Don't be fooled by the small size because it turned out to be a very generous portion. Normally after eating healthy food I'm hungry an hour later but this meal was really satisfying. Can't wait to have it again. If you're driving by I know this place doesn't look like much from the outside, but it really is amazing. I think other people are starting to discover it too, there was a steady line of customers in there yesterday. It's only open from 10-4 though I think. Could it find D-mannose anywhere- publix walmart Kroger- luckily I work next to this place so I called up there to see if they had it- and they did! So thankful! I would have had to order it online if not. Very clean- very busy- and the woman who was at the desk was more than helpful from the time I called to the time I walked in- did not have to go out of my way to look for a employee! This health food store has recently had a change in management with a change in name to 4Kicks. As that name suggests, there's also been a change in quality. When I moved to the Druid Hills area recently and was looking for a health food store closer than Rainbow Market in Decatur, Nuts 'n Berries was a good alternative. They had a moderately good selection of vitamins and herbal supplements and a fairly knowledgeable (if slightly overenthusiastic) staff. It was also well-organized; if you were looking in the section of supplements to help you sleep, for example, all the supplements would be ones that would help you sleep. Unfortunately, Nuts 'n Berries was bought up by 4Kicks. Now there are energy supplements dotted throughout the sleep section. When I bought one, then later realized that it was the opposite of what I needed, I took it back unopened but was told that, while they used to take unopened returns within ten days (still rather limited), now they only give you "store credit' within that period. So if you don't need anything else or don't want to bother with them any more, they get to keep your money! They are also ridiculously expensive as compared to online sources such as Swanson Vitamins. So I'll use Rainbow when I've got to have it now (or after a half-hour drive, at least) and online when I can't. Unlike Nuts n Berries, 4Kicks is not worth fighting the Peachtree Street traffic. read more

This is the best store in Atlanta!! They have all the best products, the staff is friendly and so knowledgeable and the atmosphere is welcoming. Their customer service is seriously top notch!!
