Quick background: I just started getting my lashes done for the first time a few months ago. The lash tech I usually see went away on vaca. I am new to this lash game and now learning the rules. Now, let's dive in! I was able to successful book a 2 week refill on their website and paid my deposit. There was no mention that lash techs do not work over other lash tech previous work. IT WAS NOT MENTIONED ANYWHERE. Soon after I received a text saying I was not an existing customer and they could not do a refill because I was a new customer. I was asked if I wanted to cancel my appointment and I agreed to cancel it. Since it was not my fault they did not disclose that info on the website and I did not request the appointment to be canceled I asked that my deposit be reimbursed. I was told that my deposit would not be reimbursed because it was non-refundable! WHAT?! After going back in forth the staff admitted and apologized for not disclosing the policy on their site prior to me booking my appointment. I tried to explain that I should have not been able to schedule an appointment on their website to begin with. My argument was that I did not understand how they could not make a refund when you they are making an admission of guilt for lack of information on your business website. I understood the deposit is non-refundable but it should not apply when they mislead clients in thinking they can have a service done. I felt they were making me responsible for their business not having adequate software or disclosure of business policies. Long story short, the charge was never reimbursed but my bank reimbursed my money as a courtesy. I saw the IG page for one of the owners & then I blamed myself for even considering having service here. I think this speaks to the moral & greed of the business.
