The men I was connected/contracted with were nice but careless with my items. I watched them slide small kitchen appliances into the moving truck, pack boxes of books on top of boxes marked fragile (picture frames) and scratch up two pieces of my furniture. The older man was also very concerned with payment and I felt like I couldn't give an honest review with them watching me fill out the paperwork. The help was GREATLY appreciated, but I would have loved a little more appreciation and respect for my items. Update from 8/11 - just went to my storage unit to get a few things and noticed how awful the packing job was of my unit. Some rivets were popped out. Crown molding on the top of an armoire was badly damaged. My desk, couch, and numerous tables had scrapes and gouges. Mighty Movers was the complete opposite--straightforward, accommodating, professional, and pleasant to deal with from the first conversation with Robbie Siedel through the final piece of furniture being placed. As I was traveling in from out of town to help with this move, I needed a confirmed delivery day - they guaranteed the day and met their commitment down to the exact time. Brandon was part of both our pickup and delivery crews, and he is fantastic. He has the most upbeat, friendly demeanor, while also being incredibly careful and attentive. Throughout the entire process, he made sure everything was going smoothly and that we were happy with how the move was being handled. Stephen was also part of our delivery crew and was equally amazing. He put furniture back together and then patiently moved pieces an inch forward, an inch back, or wherever we asked until everything was exactly where we wanted it. We booked this company 3 weeks ago for a move. They told us we were the first move of that day and we had an appointment of 8am Saturday morning. Thursday before our move we get the confirmation call... Now we are at 11am.. This is fine with us, we just need to move. 10:30am Saturday morning day of the move. My wife received a call that they are running behind and that we are now moved to 5pm IF NOT SUNDAY Morning.... Yes Sunday morning... They have to call us back to confirm. By 1:30 we have not heard back from them. I call get someone that has no idea about my situation... I'm then told the owner will call.... NO CALLS at all not one. I called that number 25 times and left 5 vmails. It's the 30th and I have to be out by the 31st and this place dosent call me. I sat at my condo until 11pm that night all my clothes are packed, all my food is gone since we made it so we didn't have to move food... My 2 dogs are stressed out at this time and oh did I mention I ended the electric for that night since we were moving out.. Could I have ended the electric on Monday or Tuesday? Yes I could have.. But I didn't expect a company with this high of rating to be as completely unprofessional as they were. So Saturday night no power no ac apartment full of boxes totes and bags with no tv eating pizza in the dark. How could anyone run a company like this... How unprofessional are you? Use any other movers but these guys don't let this happen to you. In fact call these instead they are amazing and really helped us when others lied..... Went home to Florida for the holidays recently but I wanted to bring a bunch things with me. Things that were too big to fit on a plane so I had them shipped with Long Distance Moving Experts. They were one of the first places I called to get a quote from but afterwards l called a couple other spots just to make sure the rate they gave me was fair. Not only was it fair but their policy is you just pay once up front for the move after you give them the start and ending locations. I noticed other places didn't offer this so that made this company sound that much better of a choice. I'm giving this place 5 stars because I didn't have any problems with the move. Everything arrived on time, nothing was damaged and they made the whole experience as easy as they could for me. They were organized the whole time and kept me notified as the move went on.

Once they have your deposit and pick up your things (which was late from date I requested) they will take their own sweet time delivering and they will likely not give any updates even after you call and call and call. Or, if you do call and get a hold of someone they will say that they need to "contact dispatch" in order to get you any updates and they will call you back. They don't call back. That happened 3 times. I still have not had my things delivered and it has been over 2 weeks no word. I FINALLY got a hold of manager who told me they legally have "21 days" to get you your things and it was in the small writing on paper you sign. Here is something else to NOTE. They will take your credit card to reserve but they dont really tell you that they require you to pay CASH OR POSTAL MONEY ORDER when the movers arrive. No cashiers check, check, c card. I was like is this 1986? Postal Order..I don't know about you... but personally handing over a grand in cash to a mover seems weird. I think most their reviews are fake. This will likely be removed. I am going to complain to the BBS and American Board for Storage and Moving.
