Really pleasantly surprised! Coming from Texas, I have high barbecue standards. I'm happy to say…read moreeverything we got beat my expectations. We ordered the Meat Sweats plate with ribs and pulled pork and sides of deviled eggs potato salad and baked beans with bacon. Everything was great, fresh, and had a ton of flavor. Didn't love the corn bread, but that just comes down to preference (I like my corn bread cake-y and sweet whereas this was kind of a dense pound cake consistency.) Would absolutely recommend! Hands down some of the best food in Bayville and the best barbecue in the area.

The food doesn't seem that fresh .corn bread was a very dry inedible muffins .2 of them I just…read morethrew them out . I got a pulled pork sandwich which was dry even with sauce the store was big and empty which gives a weird feeling 2nd time and last time In I Got a chicken sandwich which taste of dirty frying oil or something overpowering oil flavor was real gross. the fries well they were soggy and and few with rotting parts If ur making fresh fries u got to double Fry them so overall wack!' also the women at front so awkward ,doesn't know how to talk to customers she was very confusing . Also this may be my opinion but , a good barbecue place you can smell from blocks away .this place doesn't even smell inside of good fresh cooked food so you can decide for yourself but I don't consider this a barbq spot

I am completely over the moon for the wedding catering that my friend had by this small local…read morebusiness. Everything was absolutely mouthwatering and delicious. Very much worth the wait, and they were so friendly. So delicious the entire wedding party and guests went back for seconds, and felt completely satisfied. The only gripe I have is that I'm not local to the east coast, so I'm limited to only possibly having when I'm visiting! Boo! Meat Line Up: -Pork ribs: literally falling off the bone and delicious! -Chicken: so moist and the chicken skin was crispy. -Homemade Sausage: absolutely divine and could tell it was made with love and care. -Two types of brisket: I've had my share of brisket, and I am not easily impressed. I am a fan of the fattier cut, and IT WAS SO DELICIOUS IT REQUIRES ALL CAPS! Very moist and can tell it was cooked with care. Sides: -Asiago, cheddar and peppercorn Mac and Cheese: This was by far the winner of the dinner for me! The cheese combination was scrumptious and required a second trip to the food table! -Red bliss potato salad: amazing! Can't go wrong with a potato salad and this one had a great slight tang to it. -Baked Beans: a classic and they have a good recipe! -Cornbread: so moist and amazing! -Homemade Pickled Onion: I personally have a onion intolerance, but a friend said they were absolutely amazing! Perfect vinegar flavor and complimented the food. Sauces: -Sweet BBQ sauce: delicious and perfect on the ribs and brisket. -Golden Mustard Sauce: try with the homemade sausage! -Vinegar Pepper Base: the perfect addition to the chicken. If you need catering and like BBQ, pick up the phone and schedule this company!!!

My brother and his wife have been raving about the breakfast at this place for years! I was…read moreskeptical because going to a BBQ place for breakfast felt weird, but BOY was I wrong. This might be my new favorite breakfast spot in Point Pleasant, and I'm almost hesitant to say that because we got in without a wait at 10 am on a Sunday and it feels like some kind of local secret. I shared the blueberry pancakes and Border Benedict with my mom. We love doing a sweet/savory split. Both were exceptionally good. The Benedict comes on a cornbread waffle and it was really special. The chipotle hollandaise was also unique and delicious! My fiancé and my aunt also really loved their meals- biscuits and gravy and a skillet. I'm so happy we gave breakfast here a try and can't wait to go back.

Located just down the road from Jenkinson's Boardwalk is Shore Points Coastal BBQ. There's many…read moreoptions from steak sandwiches to tacos to burgers and salads, something for everyone. We were greeted right away from a friendly welcoming man and were seated right away. I had the birria taco and barbacoa taco - barbacoa taco was the best one. So flavorful and filling. The birria taco tried its best but if you want something authentic it's definitely not here for the birria taco. The broth was more tomato base than what it's supposed to be and the taco itself was a bit more tougher than the authentic Mexican dish. My son enjoyed his burger but didn't care for the fries or cheese sauce on the side he ordered. My fiancé didn't care for his skirt steak sandwich too much, as it was difficult to chew. The lemonade was delicious. Service was great - thanks Sophie (I think her name was?). There's free street parking nearby and there may even be a parking lot behind? We saw this possibility as we walked across the street after parking the car nearby. Ambience is casual. I'd definitely come back for that barbacoa taco! Yum!
