The location on the corner looked a little bit like a vintage setup. After parking around back, we entered through the door w the paper notice- "Entrance". After we got in, those working welcomed us and the smell of the food was incredible. They explained the menu on display behind them and we ordered. The food was as good as the smell and I would order the same thing again. I got the "Outlaw Brisket fries" w cheese, onion straws and a side of coleslaw and cream of mushroom. After you order your main entire', all the add ons are no charge. The food and service was good and the inside doesn't look vintage but just like I imagine a good BBQ place would be. If in the area again, this will be a place I come back to. read more

**5 Stars Smokey Beards Brings the Heat** We ordered the Outlaw Brisket Fries and two beef ribs that would've made Fred Flintstone yabba dabba do. No exaggeration! Those ribs are prehistoric in the best possible way, and the brisket fries are exactly the kind of loaded, smoky, over-the-top plate you hope for when you walk into a place like this. Everything was amazing. The entire team was welcoming, polite, and attentive from start to finish -- the kind of hospitality that turns a good meal into a spot you keep coming back to. Do yourself a favor and go hungry. read more

I stopped by Smokey Beards on a Friday right when they opened at 5 PM and was greeted by the owner, which was a really nice first impression. Our server took the time to explain the menu and all the ways we could customize our food. I ordered the brisket sandwich and the Outlaw Brisket Fries. The person who was working the food line recommended adding the mushroom sauce to the fries, and I'm so glad I did because it was delicious! The brisket was fresh, tender, and full of flavor. The portions are huge, so if you're not super hungry, I definitely recommend sharing. Throughout our meal, Robert kept checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed, and when we were finished, he brought us togo boxes without us even having to ask. Great customer service! The restaurant itself is very spacious, making it a great spot for family dinners or larger groups. It started getting busy around 5 PM, so it's clearly a popular place for an early dinner. Parking was also very easy since there's a large parking lot next door. Overall, the food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent. Since it's fairly close so I will return! read more

Our second dining experience. As we entered the front door, we were immediately welcomed with high regard. The staff loaded our dishes with multiple topping and asked if we wanted more. As we filled out drink glasses the owners went ahead of us to prepare our table. The food is delicious with ample to take-home. Look forward to returning with friends. read more

Smokey Beard's menu is modest, featuring Zabiha/Halal brisket and three sides (fries, rice, or mac and cheese). The brisket is by far the star of the show--well-smoked, flavorful, and clearly the focus. Where it falls short of a full five stars is the supporting cast. True Texas BBQ is about the entire plate, and the sides feel underdeveloped. I'd love to see options that complement the smoke and seasoning, like brussels sprouts, collard greens, sweet potatoes, or even simple wins like a cucumber-tomato salad or solid BBQ beans. I was also surprised to see only beef on the menu; smoked chicken or hot links would absolutely motivate more drives down I-35 from Dallas. The restaurant itself was clean; the staff was polished and hospitable... like real, southern hospitality. There's potential here. Nail the sides and add one more protein, and this could be a must-stop. I'd go back for the brisket--and I'm rooting for what this place can become. read more

The brisket was moist fell apart and was awesome! It certainly didn't need no sauce. From the choice of food the brisket was the best thing that I've tasted here. Art the pitmaster gave me the rice bowl, which was very good. Next time I come here. I'm gonna try one of their beef ribs. This place is a little different than other barbecue joints, it seems to be a little upscale. But I would come here again. Make your way over here, east of downtown Fort Worth and get their brisket try. read more

Really great food. Large portions and amazing customer service. The food could have been warmer but it was so good, it still deserves 5 stars. We will be back! read more

Saw how highly rated this place was and decided to give it a try. It was probably the worst barbecue I have ever had. All they had was brisket. It's claiming it is Halal which is fine but you can have additional meats such as chicken, turkey even lamb to stand out and still remain halal. The brisket was dry and flavorless. Sauces (barbecue, etc) were all upcharged at $2.00 each for the tiniest amount. Sides? $5.00 per side for what amounts to a tablespoon of potato salad and pinto beans. Everything was either cold or at room temperature. Considering that the place opens at 5 pm, one would expect hot food. For a barbecue place one would expect the place to smell like something was being smoked. It didn't and likely considering how dry the brisket was it was made a day or two before and not fresh. The owners seemed friendly and welcoming but the food overall was sub par in every way. There are a LOT of barbecue places in the DFW area. I would not recommend this place. read more

This is definitely a 5 star place to eat. We ordered the Outlaw Brisket Fries and a pound of the pulled brisket. The brisket fries are fried in beef tallow so they are very tasty. Adding brisket, cheese and BBQ sauce would be great enough but you get to add anything on the sides menu if you want too. The brisket itself was perhaps the juiciest, most tender and savory brisket I've ever had. No BBQ sauce is needed. The pièce de résistance is the Dubai Chicolate cake. OMG! You cannot go without it. read more

Pulled brisket "sammich" was on point. Honestly didn't even need BBQ sauce. Staff were hella friendly, made jokes, personable. Support this business if you can. I will go back. I need to try their ribs and brisket next time. read more

Stopped by Smokey Beards BBQ for the second time today. The pulled brisket is the best I have had! In my opinion, better than Hard Eight, better than Riscky's, better than Salt Lick in Round Rock, just the best! It's flavorful, tender, smoked to perfection and the barbecue sauce is delicious. It has an excellent balance of flavors with the right amount of heat, the right amount of sweet just enough of both and all the other intricate flavors that make a great bbq sauce. And the French Fries are fried in beef tallow! So delicious and NO SEED OIL!! The staff was friendly and inviting. It's a nice family environment. It was clean and fresh inside. I highly recommend Smokey Beards barbeque. I know I'll be back every chance I get! read more

Great food, great service. Cool vibes. Very friendly staff, clean restaurant. Accessible parking. Will definitely come back. Brisket is awesome read more

The brisket at this place is unbeatable--absolutely divine, practically melting in your mouth! No barbecue sauce needed to enhance its perfection. We enjoyed their brisket sandwich served on a soft brioche bun, brisket fries, and a hearty brisket bowl, all accompanied by a small side of creamy coleslaw and flavorful potato salad. To satisfy our sweet tooth, we couldn't resist their homemade Dubai Chocolate Cake topped with pistachios and the irresistible Banana Pudding Tiramisu. Every bite was a delight! The staff's warm, welcoming, and friendly service made our experience even better. The decor, and atmosphere were well thought out. Even their bathrooms exceeded expectations! read more

Amazing Brisket! Great Fries and other sides. Really nice people. Lots of room for your large group. My only suggestion to the owners: Update your social media and website. Pretty sure your soft opening went really well and you are in your stride now. BTW: Food is Halal for those that require it. We'll be back! read more

The beef is great a lot of meat the people working there are friendly the bread on the sandwich was a littlr old

best bbq. the bbq rice bowl is what i had and it's huge. you can choose to put anything you want on it. everyone was very friendly which made the experience that much better. The Ambiance is okay, they have televisions but didn't even have them on the World Cup. That always annoys me when staff are oblivious to important sporting events. read more

This BBQ is AMAZING! Brought my fam here on a Sunday after seeing this place on FW Lovelist. We made sure to get there right as it opened because they're only open for 2hrs on Sunday and we were worried they might run out. We were expecting a long line, but were able to walk right in. No wait necessary! We were greeted immediately- very friendly and inviting staff! We ordered the brisket sandwich, outlaw, brisket fries, and a beef plate rib. Everything was absolutely DELICIOUS- honestly the Fort Worth Lovelist post that I saw doesn't even do this place justice. my hopes were up, but this place wildly exceeded expectations. The brisket was soooo tender and flavorful! Fall off the bone good. The mushroom sauce, even though it's not needed was absolutely mind blowing! I dipped every piece of brisket in this sauce and boy... I cannot wait to come back and get it. The two desserts we had were fantastic- my favorite was the Dubai double chocolate cake. We will 100% be coming back here very soon! 10 out of 10 FIRE AF!!! read more

Smokey Beards BBQ - brisket sandwich - Barbeque Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

One of my recent birthday wishes was to fly from the East Coast to Texas for a meal at Smokey Beards Q, and the experience completely exceeded my expectations. I discovered this restaurant on social media and found it fascinating that its original location is in Saudi Arabia. As a non-pork eater, I was thrilled to learn their barbecue menu is entirely halal and primarily features premium brisket and beef ribs. From the moment I arrived, the greeter welcomed me with a warm, genuine smile. I ordered the Outlaw Fries, which were a perfect 10/10. They were perfectly complemented by melted cheese, perfectly smoked brisket, and a dash of their special sauce. The cashier and staff preparing my food were energetic and incredibly welcoming.I also tried their banana pudding, which featured a delicious Dubai chocolate base--an absolute standout. I highly recommend visiting with a hearty appetite, as the generous portions are incredibly satisfying. I am already planning my next trip to this establishment and look forward to bringing others to experience their exceptional hospitality and the best ever barbecue around. This is a must-visit destination that is sure to attract long lines. read more
