Walked into this smoke shop in Oceanside looking for a clear vape -- not a flavor-banned one,…read moreliterally the plain nicotine version. The second I asked, the employee hit me with, "Oh... we can't sell nicotine. Oceanside banned it." What?? Since when is nicotine itself banned? Maybe flavored vapes were banned years ago, sure, but just straight-up nicotine? The whole interaction felt super off -- weird attitude, weird energy, and zero willingness to even answer a basic question. It was so awkward I didn't bother asking anything else. Honestly just a shitty, off-putting smoke shop. Won't be back.

I'm not too sure why they have so many bad reviews. Or maybe they have improved. Although my…read moreprevious visits over the years have been good. I went in for something specific, was helped quickly, and then just decided to lollygag for awhile looking at everything. They didn't bug (like Lululemon does) but I do recall being asked an appropriate amount of times if I was still doing ok. They have a huge selection of anything you could ever want including tattoo supplies which is cool. I had no idea. Good to know when you're in a pinch and need gloves or ink last minute.

I went into this local liquor store not far from my to grab a sprite for my daughter and maybe grab…read moresome beers for me. I walked in and they have a cigar room that looked stacked with a wide variety in it and the place was packed with all kinds of alcohol instead of th usual snacks and the items which I like. Walking in the guy behind the counter wasn't interested any small talk which, again, I can live with. We found some Mexican soda which was overpriced but fine. I checked out the beer selection and they had a large variety of Burgeon Beer which I was excited about. Here is where it went south. I took it all up to the counter and the rude man rang it up to the tune of $55. I asked how in the world it could be that much and he showed my the price tags, which I missed on the beers, $18.99 and $21.99 for 4 packs of beer! These are overpriced at $15/ 4 pack and these guys took it to the next level. Again, overpriced and rude but it's beautiful day and I paid and took my stuff. But don't worry, when I got home and I took it out of the bag the beers cans were dusty, maybe even dirty, and I checked the cans then their canned dates were almost a year ago! So... nice selection, terrible service, predatory pricing and an inferior product. I cannot warn you enough about this stain of a store on our small town of South O. 1 Star and that's being generous.
