We had to go in for a smog check on a Thursday morning around 9:20 am. We spent $40 on a 2005 Jeep and spoke with two pleasant, kind, and helpful men. Their customer service was excellent. They are first come, first serve. They do charge whether you pass or fail smog. In total, we spent about 10 minutes (or less) here. In the time you took to read this, your smog check would be done! Not really a very long wait time, came in on a Monday at around 10:30 AM so only two other people came in at that time and he was very nice! Brought in a 93 Jeep and was told $80 for brake and lamp inspection + cert. but I'm pretty sure that's the price for any car! Customer service was very good and inspection only took about 30-45 mins, wasn't paying too much attention! Obviously they do smog checks here but not too sure how much those are. In doing so I've waited in line, made appts, been delayed, gotten shady service ... Since finding Smogs 4 Less several years ago, I have never gone astray. The longest I've had to wait is 15 minutes or the length of time needed to perform the smog test and handle paperwork. The last time I went to Smogs 4 Less I didn't have DMV smog paperwork. I would not recommend this shop. I was in line first for a smog check and I had to wait for the smog person to finish paperwork for another car behind me 15 minutes after I arrived. He also failed my car because the rubber hose was disconnected from a vacuum switch unit. All he had to do was reattach the hose and it would have passed with flying colors since the car did pass the smog check initially anyway. Also this person was quite rude. read more

Cold waiting room, hard benches. They gun the accelerator on my car till it's ready to blow up or crack a cylinder. They're cheap and reliable on the tests. Just wish they stayed open Saturday and sent your test in on Monday. read more

I went in to get my Smog check done in order to get this years tags. I waited a few mins for them to work on my car and once they did it took all of 15 mins. The two workers were friendly and focused on their job. It was a great price and I will be back once I need too. read more
