Good and quick service. I have an older bmw. Went to another smog place and he could not even smog it. Wen to smog zone and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Would definitely go back again. read more

Great service! Very professional and courteous staff. Would definitely go back again. Literally took less than 10 minutes.

These guys were very friendly and helpful. We had car trouble, and they were very careful to make sure that the car passed the check.

Great place to gear smog check, clean shop with great service. Very professional and nice.

Went in on a Saturday morning. There were only 2 cars ahead of me, so I only waited about 15 minutes. Smog check took about another 15-20 minutes. Fast, fairly priced. I recommend. read more

Great, fast, efficient, and friendly service. What more could you want. I was in and out of there in about 20 mins, if that. Definitely recommend! read more

i see lots of good reviews for this place but let me be the first to paint a negative picture... dude lied on the phone about it being $50 if i show up in the next 20 minutes. there is a Calif state collection of $8.75. He then charged me $51.25 + the $8.75 made it $60 total. now i don't know where you come from but that's called lying where i come from. I expected to pay $50 total. not $60. Also, there's an older guy who also works there. he looked over my DMV paperwork and neglected to tell me that i didn't need a smog check, only to pay for renewal. sure, i'm an idiot for bringing my car to a smog check station without needing a smog check, but i felt deceived because they neglected to tell point that out. i feel like they just wanted my $60 (not $50). read more

This is definitely the place to go to get your smog check. I am the kind of person that is very weary of car mechanics or anyone that has anything to do with cars, for that matter. The guy (sorry I forgot your name!) earned my trust instantly. He was very friendly & efficient and you could tell he knew what he was doing. He sent my certificate electronically to the DMV so I went right over afterwards and completed my registration! It was as great of an experience as a smog check can be! Thanks Smog Zone. read more

They were fast, friendly, and efficient. I was in and out in no time. I couldn't ask for more in a smog check!

I've used Heik at Smog Zone for the past 15 years and as an owner of AutoAid in Van Nuys I found him to be consistently professional, reliable and most importantly his willingness to help and vast knowledge in automotive emissions systems has saved me time and money many times over. Go see Heik read more

This was my first smog testing experience but it was great. Haik was very nice and made the environment comfortable. The place was clean and open. Haik was very accommodating and made it a no hassle experience. I will definitely go there again and I would recommend it to everyone. read more

This shop is the best. I have been coming to them for a couple of years for our family cars and they have always been efficient and friendly and they know their stuff! The bigger location has only made them better - highly recommended. read more

Found my way to Smog Zone thanks to Yelp. Gave them a call ahead of time to see how long the wait was so I could go over my lunch break. Of course, once I got there, there was suddenly a line. The one young man working there was very cordial and asked if I was the one who called and apologized for the wait. I understand how it is - first come, first served. I had to sit through some people trying to not pay for their car after it didn't pass. The Smog-er was firm, but polite with them even though they were getting a little outrageous. All in all, it took about an hour for me, but in that time, he worked on 4 cars. He even gave me a discount on the word that I would write a Yelp review so here I am! read more

Needed a smog in a hurry and looked found this place at random. I got in and finding parking was easy, the guys there are the nicest around, and they're quick as greased lightning. Hands down, not getting my car tested anywhere else. read more

I called Smog Zone to get an idea of the wait time. A courteous gentleman on the other line told me the rush had gone and they were free to help immediately. I went over and sure enough, I was helped immediately. I was only there for approximately 10 minutes total time. These guys were courteous, informative, fast, the price was more than fair. I highly recommended!!! Thanks guys for the excellent service. read more

Great service very fast and professional took 5 minutes and no wait. Will definatley return in the future

They spoke to me on the phone about their services, gave quick accurate answers (and the best rate - $50 bottom line price), and got to me pretty quickly. Nice little waiting room, nice guys, test didn't take long. Too bad my car baaaarely didn't pass -- but that's not on them. I'll be going back for my retest. read more

Super fast and friendly. Sem provided great service! In and out in less than 10 minutes. A+++++++

Haik and Sam were phenomenal servicing my car. I'm not from Cali....just moved here from NC and he took his time explaining the Cali process to me. He gave me a very good price and they were quick. I will definitely be going back to their shop for the next one. read more

Awesome place. Very courteous and extremely professional staff. I was there only 15 minutes and the smog was complete. Very convenient location off of oxnard and hazeltine and close to my house. I used the coupon and saved 15 bucks! I will definitely be back!!! read more

Asked if they had any discount for mentioning Yelp and was told that was only if I wrote a review. Normal price was $60, which I thought was exorbitant. So they gave me the Yelp review writing price of $45, which is close enough to the going rate for me. So while I still think stipulating that one has to write a review to get a discount is really sketchy, they don't really enforce it (how could they?), and the service was very quick and courteous. I will definitely go back next time and recommend to others. read more

These guys are awesome! I found them on yelp and the reviews don't do them justice. First off they close at 5:00pm. I rolled up at 5:20 and they where finishing their last car. Without blinking an eye they said they'd take me. They said it would be 10 minutes but was less than 5. The service was straight forward and very fast. No crazy upsale or mechanic mumbo jumbo. I didn't have their online coupon but they gave the discount anyway. The most impressive thing about these guys is how friendly they are. Very professional and no nonsense. I swear if I didn't have a wife and baby to get home to I would have gone out for a few beers with these guys. That's how nice they are. Make sure to see these guys. I'd check for off hours to go. It's a one car at a time setup but they are so fast I'd guess even at busy times you wouldn't wait long. read more

Really great service, very friendly, and they aren't lying when they say 15 mins, i couldn't believe how quickly they got the job done on a busy day. read more

Great service! Test and paperwork completed in about 20 minutes. Haik was very friendly and efficient. This is a great place, I will come back next time! read more

my husband went in for the standard smog check a few months ago not knowing that the Check Engine Light being on = AUTOMATIC FAILURE. Aware of the CEL light, these guys proceeded to do the "test" anyway and had the nerve to tell him that the price of the test was discounted because of their coupon program. totally disgusted, he went to another neighboring competitor (whose rate is about $10 more but definitely honest and ethical). read more

Stopped in today unannounced and Brent welcomed me with a smile. With the check-in coupon my smog test was $35. All I can say is that it was painless, inexpensive and the service was top notch. In and out in 10 mins! read more

My husband went to Smog Zone and he really liked the service so when my car needed a smog check we went there the other day. It was after closing hour but he was super cool and let us stay. The smog check went quick and smoothly. He also showed my husband the bigger and better Smog Zone shop he's moving to across the street! Congrats! read more

I just had the pleasant experience of going here for the fist time today. The last smog check place told me my BMW M3 was not communicating with his computer but failed me anyway. I am glad I didn't go back there, even though it is next to my home. It is worth going to someone who knows what he is doing, treats you with respect, and values your time while generously giving his on the phone. A true professional! Ian read more

I found this Smog location online; I was concerned bz this year's registration required me to take my vehicle to a STAR station, so I didn't know how much more involved the testing would be (since I have an older vehicle). Simply, I recommend this location highly. I happened to get lucky because it wasn't busy the day I went. But their customer service is simply great. One of their guys was already walking to my car as I pulled up. The guys there were friendly, polite & quick. I mentioned that I saw a $10.00 coupon available on their website that I didn't have with me; they still honored it & gave me the $10.00 off. I was there all of maybe 10 min's or so & was then on my way. I hope this reviews sends many more customers their way. I'll be there next year when my other vehicle is due for its' smog test. Thank you! read more

Great service. Haik explained in detail the reason he recommended that he provide a replacement gas cap for my old car. (If I drove the car out of the shop and back with a new cap he'd have to reinspect, increasing the total cost) I checked the web after the visit and his price is better anyway. I don't know if the new cap made a difference or not but it wasn't worth the risk/cost. The location is convenient and he stayed later on a Saturday to satisfy all the customers. I don't write many reviews. I hope this helps you. read more

I dread having to get my car smoged even if it is every two years. I have not been pleased with any places I've been to previously. However, my experience changed yesterday. I called to see how long it would take and Ike told me it was a first come, first serve, but he would put my name down if I showed up. True to his word, he took me first in front of someone else because he had taken my name down. The service was quick and he gave me a discount. What's not to love? I won't be going anywhere else in the future. Ike's friendly and fast service made has sold me for life! I would highly recommend this service. read more

Friendly, efficient, nice waiting area - they made my smog check a breeze! :)

Great place for a quick smog check. The owner's son, Haik, greeted me with smiles and humor which automatically put me in a good mood. He promised to get me out of there quickly and he delivered! I was in and out in 15 min. and I showed up without an appt. The waiting area was exceptionally clean and they were reasonably priced. This a very friendly and customer service oriented auto shop. I will be back and I highly recommend Smog Zone. read more

Smog Zone is FAST. All I did was hand him my keys. I didn't even give him my registration, he ran my license plate. If you live in the valley take your car here. You will be in and out. The owner knows exactly what he is doing. read more
