In the end, a smog is a smog, but what set Smog Zone head and shoulders above the rest is the service! The owner(?) was extremely polite and helpful, and gave me constant updates during the test itself. My wife pointed me to Smog Zone due to the yelp reviews, which I mentioned when he asked me how found out about Smog Zone. That was good enough for $10 off the posted price. I also heard the customers right behind me talking about yelp as well. Bravo to this guy, who is doing a fantastic job of promoting his business online! read more

The guys at Smog Zone are the best in the industry - can't beat the service - can't beat the price - they are quality from start to finish - if you need to get smogged, you found the right place. read more

FAST FAST FAST SERVICE!!! I have never written on Yelp even though I use it all the time. But this place was just as great as everyone else who posted said it would be and I felt I should add my two cents. I sincerely agree that this is the best smog service around. The price was right and the service was excellent. BTW, the legendarily awesome owner other people wrote about was out at the time. I was helped by an employee named Brent who was personable, knowledgable and super-efficient. So it would seem that no matter who helps you at this place, expect a class act - a rare thing in this town. If only they were mechanics and a body shop too... read more

Great smog center, and always great service! I've been here a couple times over the years, and I've never been disappointed. They get me in and out quickly, the place is crazy clean, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend! read more

Had my CRV smogged there on Thursday. Very courteous and only took 15 minutes. Reasonable price. *** They moved locations, across the street , now at 14146 Oxnard, look for the blue building.*** read more

I've done my smog tests here and he is very quick, tells you what needs to be done to pass smog. With a coupon you can get it done for $50, which is nice for a star smog station. read more

Great place to go if you need to get your car smogged. Haik is friendly and will do his best to get you in and out quickly. We were out in 15 minutes. Highly recommended. read more

No mess, no fuss. I had originally considered calling ahead to make sure they could fit me in for a smog check, but time got away from me and I ended up just arriving at 1:30pm. I was immediately waited on, my car was looked over and passed inspection, and I was out the door in 15 minutes. As a recent transplant to the area, it was wonderful to see such prompt service - hopefully my experience at the DMV will be equally as painless (if only...) Fast service and friendly accomodating staff make this an easy recommendation. read more

Got a smog check today. Super fast service and the guy who helped me was super friendly. I will definitely go back.

No one likes to have to get a smog check. But this place makes it all go smoothly and just about a pleasure. Bret was very welcoming and kind! Got me in and out of there in under 10 minutes. It was actually a pleasure! Thank you! I would recommend this place to anyone! And, yes, don't forget your $15 off check in coupon. Every dollar counts these days. read more

Haik, the owner, is courteous, told me of on-line $10 coupon though there was confusion about "Free Retesting". I'd seen it referenced on line but he said it was a mistake and was supposed to have beentg removed. My car failed, then it was adjusted at my longtime mechanic's shop and passed at Haik's. This time the "Free retesting" was not to be found so I paid the second fee and was out the door. The seating area is comfortable, has tv, magazines and current to charge my iPhone. When the DMV's next smog test is called for I'll "Head-to-Haik". read more

Honest guy run the shop. His father owns a repair nearby Used thy mechanic for ten years, one of the few I kinda trust. Lol

Speedy and honest check, didn't pass, but they explained in detail and clearly what needed to be repaired.

Awesome service. Needed to come in on a Saturday morning. Got my car in quick. Very professional and clean. Definitely recommend.

My test station is no longer a test station so I was forced to find a new station. After calling around and finding less than friendly people, I called Smog Zone and reached Brett. I really wouldn't have cared if the place was more expensive, which is was NOT by the way, I was sold the minute I spoke with him. I would have gone there purely based on Brett's professionalism and friendliness on the phone. Seriously, getting a smog test on an older car at an unfamiliar station is worse than finding a new Doctor, but not today!!!!! I found Brett. My experience at the shop was everything I hoped for and more. Brett treated me and the other customers with respect and professionalism....SO REFRESHING!!! I swear Brett, If I had a business I would actively be trying to recruit you to come work for me. Your Boss is very lucky to have you and I am lucky to have met you. Thanks for taking care of my car and me today. Best Experience EVER!!!!! read more

Very quick. Gave me the internet discount. I appreciated, too, that Brent took the time to guide me as I backed my van out onto Oxnard Street. Why can't everyone offer courteous honest service at a decent price? read more

I came here for my first smog check and it was very quick and easy! Sam was super kind and helpful! I highly recommend this place!

Easy, fast and we'll priced. I am very pleased at the speed of their service. I would recommend their services and I will come again.

Came in last minute to get a smog check and Sam took care of me. I was done in 5 minutes. Fast and easy.

Smog Zone rocks. They smogged my (older than most) car with no problems and had me in and out in no time. From what I understand older cars like mine are more of a process to smog. I passed (phew!). These guys are super friendly, fast, and good at what they do. Best in the valley for a smog. read more
