What can I say this business is great. I was referred to them by another smog technician that couldn't do my car. The owner was friendly, very accommodating and honest. The service was fast and efficient. I asked if they can smog my car they said yes and I was out of there in less than 20 minutes. Its very hard to find an honest mechanic now and days but this guy is a straight shooter with reasonable rates. I will be back. read more

I've gone to SmogX for a number of years since I've lived in the area, and Hossy and his team are always honest, upfront, and thorough with any work that needs to be done. I've had them change my alternator on my Honda Civic and the fix the under tray, both times they were super efficient and I left a happy customer. read more

In and out in less than 20 minutes. Hossy is very nice, efficient, and skilled so make sure you ask for him. I was recommended here by a friend who has been coming here for years. Just FYI, This place is a bit hidden next to several other smog places/car repair shops. read more

I just (9-1-20) had my car smog tested at Smog X. The service man was polite and quick and properly wearing a mask. He noticed an issue under my hood, vacuum hoses that had been switched by my mechanic causing an annoying hissing. He fixed the problem for me at no charge. Gotta love that kind of service! Definitely will be bck. read more

Big hossy is the best, he's that uncle that fixes everything. Lol jk jk if he can. Honest, fair, reasonable.

Hossy is an excellent mechanic, he is honest & professional. Definitely an old school mechanic with top notch technical skills. He has a busy shop & the reason why is because he's trustworthy. read more

Hossy is awesome!! He spent so much time answering my questions. Went into take my car because the P0420 code came up with the check engine light, and they diagnosed that I had a bad catalytic converter. Unfortunately, they don't change them in the store, but now I know what needs to be done and I have met an honest, trustworthy mechanic! Would definitely go back next time I need anything from my car. read more

These folks do the smog test and any repairs needed for compliance. My Civic's timing was off and they fixed it quickly and at a reasonable price. I used to use other smog "franchise" shops, but these folks will be my new place to go. I'm happy... read more

This place was awesome. The guys here were super nice, and fast. Got there thirty minutes before closing. I knew my timing was off. They took me in, adjusted the timing, and smogged my vehicle all at a very fair price. Also took the time to make me aware of some other minor repairs my car needs. If I wasn't planning on getting rid of this car, I would definitely have them do it up. I'll be smogging our other car here when the time comes for sure. read more

Saw advertise price of $ 29.75 for smog in yellow pages. Got there and Hossy (Hossein) helped me. Long story short, my car didn't passed. He advised for me to drive for 50 miles and then retest. I asked, "will I be charged?" No was Hossein's answer. Was charged another $28. Why advertise for $30 and then scam for the other $30? I'll never do business there again. read more

Hossy is outstanding. I don't know how anyone could give him less than 5 stars. He has been testing all of my cars for the last 20 years. Somehow, he even remembers some of the older ones I have had. He is kind and efficient...I have never had to wait long enough to get through a magazine. And he knows his stuff, he is very intelligent and well educated. I don't know anything about pricing or coupons; I think most places are all about the same (50 or 60?). I don't really care...I just go and he gets it done. read more

Hossy is a very honest mechanic. Came in today to get my SUV smogged, he said to come back in 25 minutes, I did & it was ready. His price is very reasonable & judging by the amount of cars in his shop he's very busy but very accommodating. The Smog technician is a very cool guy, they really make you feel special. The waiting room is very comfortable with magazines and a TV. Hossy was talking with a customer abut his car & explained everything in layman's terms. I'm very happy to have found Smog X, I will be coming back again!!! read more

Wow, a smog place with friendly employees?? Great prices, friendly and honest service. They also do repairs.

This place is the best smog place I've been to. Hossy is cool, I would recommend this place.

Always a pleasure working with these folks. Good work, reasonable rates, and will squeeze you in when you are in a pinch. I'll be back!

I have been coming here for awhile now. My parents referred me here. Hossy is so friendly, efficient, kind, and reasonable. He holds a conversation with you and seems to remember you. If I ever have problems with my car, I will definately consider bringing it to him to look at it outside of just smogging. He really knows alot about cars, you can really tell. I refer everyone I can here and alot have come and been extremely satisfied with their experience. Excellent and will continue to come back and refer to others. read more
