Don't come here if you have a car older than 2000 because they will try to say that your car is older so they will charge MORE and their computer doesn't respond well with older cars! They sent me down the street to their other location after 4 different times trying to pass my car smh waste of time and he told me to drive my car around for 50 miles which I DID and he kept saying it's not ready! Waste of gas! It shouldn't be this difficult to pass! It seems like if you come in with Groupon or coupon, they will try to make it same price.. this place played me. MUST READ THE REVIEWS BEFOREHAND. My experience was very unpleasant. I just stopped by the shop for a quick smog check after work. Time is very precious that is why I look at yelp to find a quick and convenient shop close by home. My mistake, I did not look through the reviews thoroughly. Before I come to the shop, I discovered that they are offering a "$29.75 for Smog Check 2000 & Newer" coupon through yelp. Lazim helped me throughout the service. After he pulled my car in and processed the necessary paperworks, he asked me to sign on the bill. And I mentioned to Lazim the offer on yelp that the shop is offering and he told me to give them a review while waiting for the vehicle to be smogged. I said okay to acknowledge his request, but I was thinking that how can I provide a review if the service is not completed. After he done with my vehicle, he called me over and asked me if I was done with the review. I told him no, then he ask me to write a review because the owner want to have an instant review because I use the deal on yelp. Then I sat down and tried to compose a review. Couple minutes went by, he called me over to ask if I was done and criticized me for being too slow. I felt uncomfortable writing an honest review there so I gave them an decent review on spot just to get it done. Later on, I felt that the review that I gave them was not accurate so I took it down and updated it so the reviewers can be accurately informed. Johnny was so helpful and friendly! From the moment we walked in he acknowledged us and told us he would be right with us . Johnny then checked his computer to make sure my car was ready for smog. Although it was not ready because one of the lights was red he told me not to worry and that I needed to drive my car around some more and that this should clear the issue. I came back and my car passed the smog just as he said. I am extremely satisfied with his customer service and professionalism. I was in and out in no time. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS Absolutely the worse business experience I have ever had with an automotive service provider ... I drove up the building the first time to find the attendant sleeping with his feet on the desk. It was in early April and in the early stages of Covid-19. He was rude, and looked very unprofessional, but they were the only smog business open at that time and on Saturday, so I moved forward. No gloves, no seat protector and I had to remind him to put his mask on.. he tested the vehicle and it failed and needed some thing repaired with the fuel injection doohickey. I paid him $49.75 and had a 90 day window to repair the vehicle and return for the certificate. Lock-down, business closures and other C-19 issues, I did not get the repair completed until the middle of July. I want back to this facility and explained I could not get the vehicle fixed until mid July and would like to have the certificate for $8.95 sent to the DMV. He laughed at me and said I was beyond the 90 day window and would need to charge me another $59. I could not believe it and told him so, he responded with "you can go to another shop" .. what a heartless and stupid response. I did go to another shop and got it done... This guy/business gives all small hard working businesses and very bad name... Stay away from these idiots.. read more
