I'm very disappointed in the food I received tonight. Check your food before you eat it. I did call and let them know that they should check their food while they're making it and also wanted to speak with the manager, but apparently neither of the managers were there tonight. We got Goldeye fish and Mussels and Peach Ricotta and a beautiful French White. I walked over to the manager who was at the hostess desk with two other females. He told me they were trying to figure out seating arrangements and he would be with me shortly. Meanwhile the family who was waiting were taken in and seated. We waited for a few more minutes and were then seated up on the top corner. We noticed that there were several empty tables as well. Our waitress arrived shortly and took our drink order, providing us with menus. She returned with coffee and then took our order. My GF ordered an omelette while I order chicken and waffles. Nothing too complicated. As we sat drinking our coffee, the waitress returned ten minutes later asking my GF what she ordered again as she didn't understand where my GF ordered her meal from. My GF pointed out that is was under build your own omelette. The waitress said okay and walked away. We noticed that several wait staff walked by constantly carrying food, only to walk past again in the opposite direction looking confused carrying the same food in hand. We never saw our waitress again and no one checked in on us. Several other guests were seated after us and were served their meal some consisting of steak. 45 minutes later we were still waiting for our meals. Frustrated we walked out and went to Salisbury house where we received excellent service. I will never return to Applebees IHOP restaurants again nor would I recommend this business to anyone. Terrible service, inexperienced and confused staff including the manager.
