Earl did the work and didn't even charge me for the part, just the labor. Just recently I was on Lake Monroe and the alarm was going off on the boat and I couldn't figure out why. After about 30 minutes of trouble shooting and my girlfriend yelling at me, I called Earl and he was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and tell me how to fix it. They couldn't even get me a replacement. if they had one, it'd be around $300 (aluminum, not Stainless Steel). I found a close aluminum replacement online for $121. But I still wanted to get the original one repaired. Took it to Indy Prop Shop and Scott Clayton, the owner said he could fix it and went to see if he had the part. Yes, he did and he fixed it while I waited. $10.00. If you have a damaged prop, don't do anything until you check with Scott!

One boat had some severe scape marks along a corner weld that I could not see from the photos. He advised me to keep looking and keep checking their inventory as it is updated daily, if needed, and usually they had additions to their pre-owned inventory weekly. But after two months of checking I'm not seeing much new inventory. On one of those two boats we opened the bow storage compartments and the stench of cat urine was overwhelming. The sales person said there was a family of cats living in it. Combined with a nasty scrape on the hull's corner weld the salesman said the boat would probably never sell. However, it did sell about a month later. I wanted to buy that boat and I was going to suggest they rip out the carpet to get rid of the smell. But I was too late, I guess. They should have offered to do it the day I was there looking at the boat. But really; how hard would it have been to fix that before we ever looked at the boat? I did a "Request Info" from their website for the towing weight of one of the used boats for sale from their pre-owned inventory. They did not answer my question, only invited me to come in to the showroom. Since it is an hour drive for me that was not an option to get the answer to my one question. I've since given up trying to purchase a boat. I'll just continue to rent them.

I've had countless issues that you wouldn't expect with a new boat. For credibility, I will say I purchase motor vehicles often and I understand quirks but this boat has been INSANE. Short list of items (i.e. received a rusty trailer, received wrong spec sheet, boat instrument cluster was DOA, most of the buttons for boat cover ripped out of fiber glass, electrical issues, loose boot caused it to nearly sunk while docked). I've never made much of a fuss about any of this as I know boats can be finicky and it's just a toy but I wanted to warn others. Marine Center boats basically have no warranty and you're SOL even if you have issues on delivery and you point them out. It…read morehas held up great and the services include changing the dehumidifier filter and verifying the sump pumps work. The sump has 3 pumps inside it. A low pump, a higher pump if that first pump fails or cant keep up. And then a higher battery backup pump. I feel great knowing that my basement will stay dry no matter what. Shane did a great job today and even called to see if he could come a few minutes early. Its money spent but insurance that my basement stays perfectly healthy.
