We contacted Everdry after experiencing dampness in our home, musty smell, and white mold in our master bath/closet. We were told these issues could be remedied by installing their full system in our crawlspace. We asked specifically about mold remediation and assured the white mold would die once moisture was cut off. Install went okay, I was a little surprised they left our walkway completely tore up and PVC piping uncovered and quite tacky coming from our crawlspace and gutters. Install was smooth and quick, workers were respectful. A year later, my husband went to our crawlspace and found a large open, unfinished portion of our crawlspace that opened to under our deck. Not once in their install was this mentioned to us. This compromised their system design for a "completely sealed" crawlspace. We had to hire our own contractor to seal the opening, then Everdry returned to "ensure" it was fully sealed. Yet, here we are, 29k and YEARS later and still dealing with the exact same issues we called about. Mold growth on downstairs vents, musty smell, and occasionally white mold growth on clothing. Everdry stopped annual inspections without notifying us. Our master bath ceiling is mildew prone now more than ever. They came out once more and informed us that all of the moisture issues were NOW due to our HVAC (new at the time of original Everdry install) and not the crawlspace. The inspector went to our crawlspace and said everything was working properly. They advised we buy multiple dehumidifiers, that our windows might need resealed, and out vents might be leaking. HVAC was inspected and no issue found. We had a contractor come and inspect our windows and they are not leaking. We are scheduled to have our ductwork cleaned and inspected this week. Everydry found a vent pipe they installed to run into our yard is blocked and scheduled to dig it out...2 months later. Ironically, after this inspection and an Everdry agent going to the crawlspace, our intake vent they installed runs with low fan-noise/motor that it NEVER made before. it had been completely silent since installation. One of 2 things has happened- either the Everdry system is in fact not working and is not able to decrease the moisture in our home OR they sold us a story to buy their product without properly diagnosing the issue in our home. The HVAC we have is the same as when they originally looked at our home. We currently have purchased additional humidifiers we have on our ground floor, registering constant humidity levels of 70+% in our home. This is with the Everdry system. At this point, we are hiring home inspection to come and identify where the issue lies. If I could go back, we would have just installed a sump pump, bought a home dehumidifier, and vapor sealed like we were originally instructed by contractors before Everdry came out. Lesson learned. I understand that moisture issues in a home can be multilayered and complicated. My disappointment is that when we were sold the system, we were given the expectation that this and this alone would remedy all the issues we had- and never once was our HVAC or any other possible culprit identified or mentioned. My advice- make sure they address your HVAC/windows/ductwork prior to selling you a system. Ask all the questions. Get multiple people in and second/third opinions because expecting the experts to actually do the footwork of ensuring your needs are met with the product they sell is asking too much. read more

I spent $30k on this, so I am hoping the waterproofing works, but have experienced significant damage during installation process. First, in digging around foundation, workers damaged gas line, and told me it 'probably' wasn't serious. Guess what, it was, and required evacuation and emergency repair to the tune of $700, which the fine folks at Everdry refused to compensate me for, claiming it was just coincidental that gas leak appeared when they dug a trench around my home. They also somehow lost wood baseboards, so part of the basement has them but part doesn't and, oh yeah, there's also a 6" x 8" hole in my drywall. I had sent photos to Quinton, but nothing was done. And they left my patio buried under inches of dirt, with heaps of brush and bushes and removed plastic and metal downspouts littering my lawn. After several calls, they sent someone to dig out the patio, but he refused to remove the piles of trash, claiming there was no proof it came from the excavation. My take is that Everdry is super service oriented until they get your money, then you're on your own. read more

We had a pretty awful experience with Everdry. They broke a water line in the basement and refused to fix it the correct way. They left several things in the yard , did not fill all holes in the Foundation as stated in the contract. So we had to spend another 2,200 to get that fixed by another company. The sump pump doesn't drain the right way and there is water in the crawl space. I would not recommend this service to anyone and the value is definitely not worth it. read more

The crew that installed the drainage did a fantastic job. The concrete finishing was excellent, the plumbing work they did to connect the drain line in the basement was professional and routed in a way to maximize space. The wiring to the pump was done neatly. They cleaned the basement of all debris and left it far cleaner than when they arrived. Outside they installed the French drain exactly to the specification that the salesperson explained. My only complaint has to do with the EZ Breath guys. I had to baby sit them. They didn't have the right hole saw so he wanted to run a 6" duct across my basement and under my porch. Then he wanted to put the machine in front of my basement window to vent it out the window. Then he told me I didn't need an intake fan even though that was part of the package. They came back out to install the intake fan and he told me again it wasn't necessary because it pulled air through my access door. I told him the access door remained closed. Then he argued that it wasn't weatherstripped. It was kind of ridiculous. When they left, I went in to look and they didn't even sweep up. I just think he was burned out and needed a new profession. But again, the main part of the project was done by a highly professional crew and I would recommend them to anyone who needed this work done. read more

Everdry system was put in place after a little less than a year we lost power and the battery backup they installed couldn't keep up with the water and we got an inch of water ruining our flooring entertainment system and several other items. There response was that there testing showed nothing was wrong so they couldn't do anything unless it happens again. Mentioned they can replace a box that sometimes has issues despite it testing working. Spent 20k+ to guarantee we wouldn't have water in the basement and the peace of mind that comes with that, instead we now get constant worry every time it rains until it does happen again and then they might fix something. TLDR. Spent 20k Got system System failed during power outage System simultaneously working perfectly and possibly malfunctioning. Won't correct the issue unless it happens again and even then got a "we'll see where to go from there" read more

Worst experience ever. We used them to waterproof our basement, $16,000 later AND it's still flooding. They are such a useless company and we have no faith in getting it fixed. Showed up on time wearing masks even if they were working outside. They were clean and professional. I was worried about them digging u my yard and what it would look like. We had Everdry install their system in our old house back in 2021. Our house is unique in that the basement floor is brick and Everdry assured us that the bricks would be put back. They were not put back as promised and our basement is still not waterproof. They have been to our house several times over the last 2 years and have not come up with a viable solution for our basement yet. I have requested to speak to the owner on multiple occasions and have yet to gain access to him so that he can see what product was provided by his company. Our work has been completed and is working well. We have had a small issue but they have been attentive and are helping to resolve it. Employee even gave me her cell phone # so that I could text her some pictures. Seems to really care and wants to make sure that everything is spot on. They were diligent and pleasant while they were at my home in SoBro in Indianapolis. This area is well know for having water in basements. They tied all of our drains into an underground system and we were very happy with that. As far as salespeople I do not believe that they were high pressure. They laid everything out there and we made the choice. I felt like we could have walked away but we wanted a basement that was dry and that we could finish. I feel that we have that now. Complete waste of time. First off we called Everdry to have a basement Ventilation system installed. Our house has been standing since 1959 with no flooding or mold issues our basement is just stuffy and humid the Everdry Salesmen tried to make us think our Basement is in horrible condition " your walls are going to fall in if you don't get this fixed" it was one crack in the mortar joint of the concrete blocks with no water leaking in, been there for years. Similar to other high pressure home improvement companies selling Windows, Foam Insulation, Siding, Guttering, It's a package deal whether you need the fixes, example one service in the package is installing a new Sump Pump which we don't need ours works fine. They want you to sign a contract on the spot and they'll give you special pricing which we all know is bull. My mistake was I did not do enough research before having them at my home. Oh, and the quote was for $23,000 double what a real contractor not a franchise would charge. read more

They wanted to make sure my wife and I were at the home for our consultation. My wife works an hour away and she made arrangements to leave work early to be at the house at 4 o'clock. They had called the day before to confirm but I did not return the call. Therefore they did not show up the next day for our consultation. Very unprofessional. read more

What started out as a 2 day job to waterproof our basement, turned into over a month. Broken sewer line while putting perimeter drain in( understandibly can happen), but the "perimeter drain and back up sump drain were incorrectly placed just outside the house" per one of your technicians. So, he added onto the current pvc for a little more length. The float in the back up was not at right height, so between the two, we were having major flooding in the yard. Another trip out to extend. But, the biggest problem has been that the foundation trench for the drain was not dug down deep enough. We have water coming in 2 ft from the floor. The block that was treated with tar is completely dry and back to gray, while the lower part has water coming in through the block and over the flashing. Also, have a stream coming in from another corner of the foundation. We have called numerous times, sent pictures, and no one seems to want to even attempt to rectify our situation.
