They demolished and removed the old wooden deck and installed a new stamped concrete patio that looks great and is going to transform our backyard experience. Their communication and response time is great, pricing and options are clear, and the largest problem you'll have is determining which design and color combination to go with because there are so many to choose from (we found visiting their office to view samples to be really helpful in making the decision). The process was very clear and well communicated, and every day the team lead would reach out when they were on their way, walk through the day's work, and communicate any issues or questions quickly. We have a wooden fence around the backyard, and in order to complete the project the team had to remove a section of fencing for full access, and they put the fence back just the way it was. If you drove by our front yard the only way you would know we'd had Indy Decorative work for us is the sign in the yard. We could not have been happier with the entire process of getting our new patio. This was our first time doing anything like this. Indy Decorative Concrete walked us through the entire process. From consultation to construction there was no stress in worrying if things were being taken care of. They even take care of submitting things to your HOA and obtaining any permits. For our patio itself we have now had it for about 7 months. It looks incredible! We chose to get a stamp that looks like wood plank. It's always fun to show it to people because almost everyone asks, "Is that wood?". The concrete was mixed with a grey color that I can't remember the name of now. It has a highlight of charcoal grey so it popped with a little darker color. During the construction process the teams took great care to explain everything and try to limit the damage to the lawn. Obviously you can't do this kind of work and not tear up some grass but Indy Decorative Concrete's skilled team kept this to a minimum by choosing the best route and laying down boards. We were very pleased with our decision to go with Indy Decorative Concrete. After meeting with a few companies, ended up going with Indy Decorative for a few reasons. 1.) Personnel: During our initial meeting, the project estimator, Chris, was very friendly and thorough. He walked me through all of the steps of the process and his ideas for the stamped patio. He communicated well when I had follow-up questions and was able to work to stay within our budget. 2) The quality of the product: compared to some of the other companies we considered, Indy Decorative uses a superior base and the concrete itself is an inch thicker. They also offer a warranty unlike many others. The price included multiple things that other companies would not do - including burying our downspout and adding a pop up at the end. 3) The showroom. We really appreciated the ability to see the wide variety of colors and patterns at the showroom. What can I say...drab to fab in 72 hours! They did a good job from estimating the job, and explaining the intricacies of what will be best when putting in a concrete stamped patio, to the design and communication up to and through the project! I want to get one immediately upon buying my home, but, while it could've been money in their pocket, they knew that the house needed to settle and the ground around it so for a year or so. So a year and a half later I called them and picked right back up where we left off! They took impeccable care of the lawn, my neighbors didn't even know a project was going on because they weren't there during the day to see the trucks. My calls & emails were returned every time (By Jaime- the sweetest person to talk to on the phone). The estimate experience was exactly as I expected. A sketch was made of what we wanted and a reasonable quote was given to us. The patio turned out awesome! It looks exactly like the sketch that was made. The workers were nice. They took their time and seemed to enjoy what they were doing. (Even singing while they worked) :) I was impressed with how they cleaned up. I had my finished basement sealed with a decorative overlay from IDC to help seal out a ground water problem. They were easy to work with and finished the job within a few days.
