I had a tree limb fall on my Santa Fe SUV cracking the sunroof. I called my insurance company and they referred me to Don's Auto Trim and I'm glad they did. The insurance company ordered the replacement sun roof and had it shipped to Don's shop. I received confirmation that the part was delivered and called the shop to schedule an appointment to have it installed. Don said if I could bring it in today, he would get it done. I arrived at 10:30, they began working on it at 10:35 and they were done by11:30. My experience with Don's Auto trim was exceptional. I had a container leak turpentine onto my back seat. Don, systematically tried to eliminate the issue, keeping in mind the cost incurred. Ultimately his team replaced the foam, cover, and carpet. Then used an ozone machine to eliminate the contamination. Don and his team were great to work with. I will definitely frequent Don's again. We took in my car for "that problem" which of course was "no problem" as soon as we got there. Why will cars always misbehave for their owners right up until the mechanic is there? Don, the owner, was so gracious and tried time after time to get the problem to happen, with no avail. Even though we had an appointment and took up his time, he did not charge us since he couldn't replicate the problem. The store inside has all kinds of goodies for your car. They also have a huge fish tank, which is nice when you have a squirmy little one in tow. My only complaint is that it can be hard to reach someone when you call. But it is worth it if you do! read more

We had Don's replace our convertible top and upgrade our cloth seats to leather. Our Mustang looks so nice now. They did an excellent job and the were quick. I might consider more upgrades with Don's. read more

I was referred by a co-worker to this location, and I can't say enough how pleased I was with the whole process. Paul was very professional, personable, and did a great job in installing my subwoofers for my 14' Charger RT. The system sounds absolutely amazing, and I couldn't be more happy! In the past, I always went to Best Buy for car audio installs...but after numerous bad experiences, I decided it was time for a change. I rarely write a rave review, but my recent experience with Don and his Auto Trim Shop demand it. I took my Mercedes SUV in at the recommendation of the MB dealership for a look at the driver seat which was splitting at the seam. Don came out and gave me a personal account of what he had experienced with this particular problem, explained what needed to be done and gave me a quote. I was immediately impressed with his warmth, friendly attitude, hands-on approach, and sincerity. The work was done, on time, and for the exact amount. A few days later, the seat began to "shed" chips of vinyl until the seat began to turn from gray to white. I called, and he was perplexed, but assured me that it would be taken care of to my satisfaction. A color match delayed the process, but Don stay on top of it until the new vinyl arrived and was reapplied (beautifully!), with "express" service, in Don's words, because of my inconvenience. This is customer service at its finest. I am adding Don't Auto Trim to my "Nobody Does It Better" list. Thank you, Don. A job very well done!! read more

We just took our 91 Porsche 964 c4 Cabriolet there because it needed a new top. they were extremely helpful Don himself went and picked the car up from the repair shop we had it at to have the top put on as we live far away. It was done faster than we expected less expensive than we expected and look better than we could have imagined I am extremely happy. Don also gave us lots of tips and tricks to make the new top last a very long time which is quite rare in a world where most businesses would want things to fall apart and break so they can make more money replacing it again they were looking out for us and that is amazing. We took our 1955 Chevy Wagon to Don's in September of 2015 to get a headliner put in. Since we needed door panels put in and carpeting, which we had already purchased through Danchuk, we asked Don's if they could install them for us, which they said they could. We also asked how much to install the new glass and channels, which we also had, which they said they would call us with a price. I called twice and each time, they said they didn't have the estimate, but would call, then we got a call the car was finished and could be picked up, the cost $1,000 more than the quote. When we got the car, paint had been scratched on the outside drivers door and inside trim, which Don said they had done, but dismissed, saying the car was not show quality. The carpet didn't cover the trunk area. Since this was a trim shop, why didn't they fix it. We had to come home and I had to make a wood cover for the trunk area, then put the carpet over it. The trim that Don's had to put back in the car, which they requested be left out to install the headliner and door panels, was put on lopsided and paint was chipped on some of the pieces. The dome light now does not work, but it did when I took it to them. There are many more problems, too many to list, which we have had to fix. When we took it back to Don's, the problems were not taken care of, so I have had to take care of them. I took a paint estimate to Don's for the door that was scratched and he said the price was too high and he wouldn't pay it, and referred me to a friend of his who has a body shop, which I went to, whose price was $400 less. Don called me and said he would send me a check for $300. So for a job that started at $1,100, then $750, to $300, repair of my door was definitely not a priority of Don. read more
