The second time it was out of my skill set and he had to do some repair. I told him I had a trip planned and needed it ASAP. Earl said he had a gently used part at the shop he could use or he could order me a new one. I told him I was fine with the used one. Earl did the work and didn't even charge me for the part, just the labor. Just recently I was on Lake Monroe and the alarm was going off on the boat and I couldn't figure out why. After about 30 minutes of trouble shooting and my girlfriend yelling at me, I called Earl and he was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and tell me how to fix it. From my experience at Quality Craft I'd say the service has been very professional and honest and I will continue to take my boat there for any maintenance.

Every time we call, they just say the new owner will call you back. No call was ever made back. We dropped it off Oct of 2025. Its now Sept of 2026. We were out a boat all season. Im not sure if he even knows which boat is Ours. Will we even get our boat back? Will it be this year or next? Will it even be repaired? They screen your calls so they dont have to deal with their customers. Our boat is probably just rotting on their lot and we feel like theres nothing we can do. I will reach out to the BBB to report and see what other options we have to get this taken care of. Its not hard to just communicate with your customers and if you cant do that, then maybe you should not be in business.

I can't say enough great things about this auto repair shop--and especially about John, the…read moreincredible mechanic. I first met John while he was working at Nygaard's, and from the moment I met him, I felt like I was in good hands. John is not just a mechanic--he's a master of his craft and a genuinely good person who truly cares about helping people. I have a convertible Nissan 370Z whose top decided not to close. Instead of the dealership (that's another review), I knew that I could trust John to assess the issue and provide his honest recommendation. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood what needed to be done and why. He advised that this wasn't a repair that he could do. He took the time to reach out to a fellow shop owner to see if they could handle the repair. They couldn't, however, John was able to secure some highly respected shops I could call that specialize in this type of work. On top of that, he followed up to explain that if the shop secured used parts, the warranty would be the same as new and less expensive! His honesty and integrity are rare in this industry, and his expertise is unmatched. If you're looking for someone who treats your car like his own and treats you with respect, kindness, and professionalism, John is your guy. This shop is a gem, and I'll never go anywhere else. Highly recommend!

This is my third season taking my boat here, and Dave has always treated me so well. I've always felt their pricing was very reasonable, and they've always done their best to get my boat done as quickly as possible. This year, I called on July 1 and asked if we could go ahead and get the boat spring ready (later than I'd like, but we considered selling it so we had held off on un-winterizing). I let them know that I understood it may not be ready by July 4 as this is probably a busy time for them. Dave told me to drop it off and they would have it done by end of day tomorrow so we could take it out this weekend! I did have one major mechanical issue in 2025 that needed repaired, and they were very straightforward about what the issue was and what risks were involved with not repairing it; however, they did not pressure me to repair it and ultimately left it up to me, which I really appreciated. I also appreciate that when I am unavailable, Dave has always reached out to me via text, which is much easier for me to communicate promptly during work hours via text. Communication has always been prompt, and after the major repair, they actually brought the boat and met me at Morse to test the boat and make sure it ran fine. All around good, honest people and they have done great work for us.
