My prior review was based on a few bad experiences under the prior ownership and the business has since changed ownership. As such my experiences with the business are much better. The bagels were always the best but in the past the orders were wrong, quality of take out orders poor and help behind the counter annoying. That has since changed and if you want the best bagels give this place a try. read more

Okay, so for anyone who reads my reviews you know cleanliness is the most important thing to me next to the quality of the food. This place is VERY clean!! The food is okay. I have hit this place up 2 Saturdays in a row for lunch and both times the food was okay. Honestly nothing to write home about. However, I'm not sure if the guy behind the counter is the owner, manager, worker, I don't really know. First time, really rude, didn't want to help me, gave me attitude, and made a mess of my sandwich. I'm pretty sure he over charged me as well. All the pricing for sandwiches reflects hero size sandwiches but he claims he ran out of hero's so he put it on a roll, but charged me the same price as a hero. He made the sandwich so sloppy I had to pull it apart and remake it. I also asked for mayo and mustard and he made it dry. Today the kid made my sandwich, nice kid, very friendly. He made a better sandwich for sure. The entire time I was there that same guy from last week kept giving me dirty looks. I mean REALLY dirty looks. Total stink eye. A woman with a kid came in to buy bagels and he was all thank you "Sweetie, Baby, Honey, and then looked at me like I should be dead. The entire experience was creepy and cringy, and made me feel uncomfortable enough to say I will not be going back. Going to let everyone in my office aware of this too. I go there every Tuesday with the child I care for after going to The Little Gym. I starting caring for him 3 months ago and he loves going to this bagel-deli every week. His Mom has been taking him as well before me and still goes sometimes. The food is excellent. The bagels are still fresh at 2 p.m and the yogurt parfait are wonderful. The staff gets along great which is a true sign of a great business! Andrea goes extremely out of her way with Jared, the child I watch ,treats him special gives him cookies and lots of attention! Freddy and Steve are very helpful and friendly as well as anyone with a child know you will need some special requests or take a bit longer ! I have also seen them with other customers as we do stay and eat and they are wonderful with everyone. Plenty of regulars ! Store is spotless as well ! Great job! read more

I visit Long Island frequently, from Florida, to visit family. My cousin lives in Smithtown and he introduced me to this location. Every time we go, the customer service is excellent. The family that works the counters, the mom n daughter are always friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. The bagels and selections they have offer a great variety and their bagels are excellent. They do not skimp on the cream cheese either. I always make sure to stop here at least once to get my bagel fix and sometimes to bring bagels home to Florida. If I had one minor critique, it is they put too much milk in coffee when I order it. However, this time, I remember that and asked for very little milk and they made it to perfection. That is good service! The atmosphere and efficient service they provide is worth mentioning because they get busy and occasionally have a long line. When this happens, everyone "jumps" on the counter to help the customers and they move them fast, but still with the great service they provide. I will definitely visit them again when I return 'home' to Long Island. read more
