They have a cold bar with pasta, pasta salad, etc. Then they have the hot bar. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and cooked, the fries are too. I really love that the toppings were under the cheese because it makes for less mess. Really cheesy and a perfect amount of sauce. It's set up with grocery and convenience items too. Beer cooler. The employees are fast paced in there, they get nonstop business flowing through because we ate in the parking lot. read more

I love this place. It was busy on a Sunday evening and we just stopped for ice cream, but also picked up some milk. The ice cream was a huge, generous portion and the flavor of the day for the homemade soft-serve was root beer. My son and I got that twisted with the vanilla. It was tasty and very filling. There is not much else around here, and I can see why it draws a crowd. Some of the hot prepared food inside the convenience store looked really good too. I will plan on coming back. First I'll start by saying how convenient this place is to get just about anything you need! And I mean anything they serve hot breakfast food in the morning until 10am, with many options to pick from. They sell lunch and dinner options until close will pizza by the slice available all day! They also serve chicken and a lot of other hot foods. You could get almost any grocery product here you would need in a hurry. The service is always super fast and food is always really fresh and hot! Staff are always nice and welcoming. It's just overall a good experience stop in and get some food you won't be disappointed! Happened to be driving by and decided to Stop In for the first time to order a Pizza and get an ice cream while waiting at 7:45 Saturday evening. Waited in line to order Pizza at the counter while the young man dished out Pizza slices and chicken. When It was my turn the young man behind the counter went to get a lady to take my order. BUT she said she was busy and would get my order when she had time. Waited 15 minutes as she put items away. She made eye contact as if I was annoying her trying to spend money there. and walked into the back area without returning. I told the young man never mind and decided to not buy anything there. Waco is what it is... The remodel looks fantastic. No other place to pick up quick eats around, so you get what you get. Okay lunch break quick eats waiting at the lunch counter there's a lady yells at people kinda funny probably not for the people on receiving end. The daily menu I look at on facebook has gone down hill, so I haven't been there for a while creamed chicken, coney dog pizza or ham and Alfredo pizza doesn't seem appetizing. The bbq rib sandwiches are good if they keep them from drying out. Hint hot pockets are $3.19 for two at the gas station down the road, don't pay $4.50 for an under cooked one. read more

Originally this was supposed to be a trip for fried chicken. This establishment is known for its fried chicken. The chicken is fried with just the right amount of spices. The fries are thick and tasty. The price of the chicken and fries is reasonable. But, the old-fashioned ice cream shop is what caught my eye. It was worth the 10 minute wait to get the ice cream. There were flavors I'd never heard of, along with the classics. The ice cream tasted homemade. Ice cream floats, sundaes, and milkshakes were available for the adventurous. read more

Waco Market is THE BEST! I absolutely love this place. The pizza is great. The CHICKEN. The POTATOES. And don't even get me started on the breakfast pizza (their deli has a hot breakfast too!). Y'all - this place will change your entire life. Please, please try it. The location is convenient (on Route 43, close to the highway), and there's a big parking lot. It's open until 10 pm most nights. There is a seasonal ice cream stand that serves really good ice cream/sundaes (and they have packaged ice cream and novelty treats from this stand year round inside the store). You can find most basic things in the market; it's a tiny little grocery store with a few aisles. They have an awesome ready-to-eat food selection that's pre-packaged. They also have heat and eat food, a beer cave, a doughnut case, local baked goods, a microwave, and an ATM. I absolutely love this place. It's not good for your diet, but it's good for your soul! read more

I was very skeptical about this at first because I was like ice cream and then this little grocery store next to it. WAs definitely confusing, but at the end it was worth it. The ice cream is to die for. The employees were very awesome and they were very generous and helpful. The grocery store you can get fresh food and their pizza is huge at a great price. I would expect a place like Waco to actually have their employees abide by some of the Covid restrictions. Going to a place to purchase food is a risk that many of us cake. Waco employees did not wear any mask or face covering. I don't find this place very safe to eat.With everyone not wearing masks I highly doubt that everyone has a medical condition keeping them from making things safe for others. I will visit other establishments that are following safety precautions. read more

Update: I had to update this review. Although I do like their food i am disgusted by my last few visits. With COVID rampant and growing, non of the employees, including the ones preparing food, none are wearing masks. By law they don't have to, but that doesn't make it right. The last few times I went in, including my most recent visit, a vast majority of the customers weren't wearing masks. Which by law they are required to do. There were people inside coughing with no mask on. It made me cringe. I ordered bacon from the deli. The person handled my raw bacon, and went straight to handling cooked lunch meat without changing gloves. I will not be returning here any time soon read more

Went there today to get chicken and jojo's. Well, now I know better. Grew up near this place my whole life, but never went there. A neighbor told me that they have good pizza and chicken. So, about a month ago, I got a party pizza from there for a party. The pizza is average at best and I wouldn't get it again. So I thought I would give the chicken a try. You just go there and stand in line to get chicken. So I did that, and when the woman in front of me ordered a 12 piece chicken, they told her they had no chicken and it would be at least 20 minutes before they would have more chicken. She wasn't happy and left. I asked for a 3 piece dinner and got the same story. Needless to say, I wasn't happy either, and I left. Will NEVER go back there again. read more

we had stopped Superbowl Sunday to pick up our order of 100 wings that was placed on Friday a whole 2 days before the game. we arrived at 5:40 at time given to us to pick up our order. we waited 20 minutes for our order to then be told it would be another 5 minutes. another 20 minutes later we were told our order would be done in 20 minutes. so in 20 minutes already frustrated we were told they were out of chicken. on top of this people who placed orders day of the game were getting their orders. what ever happened to first come first serve and they could not fill our order. this is extremely horrible service and we were waiting well over an hour past our given time. only to be told sorry out of chicken. we had no game food for our party guests do to Waco markets error. i will never spend another cent their and we are very frequent shoppers whenever we visit our family down the street. read more
