Squishy bottom that was smashed and bruised
    Tommy J.

So I had a pretty horrible experience, but as you can see, I gave them five stars for the way they handled it! As of late, I've been using the shop for me button on the app. I've been pretty happy with the service, I put everything into the cart, pick a time to retrieve my groceries and when I arrive, they bring them out to the car and the service is free if I spend a certain amount. This is my sixth time using this service and I was extremely happy. Today, I ordered about $50 worth of groceries and picked a pick up time at 5 PM. I arrived at 5:35 PM and use the app to notify them. I was there. Came out and told us that they were having an issue and running. It would be another 30 to 45 minutes.... At rush hour, I did not want to go home so I decided to wait. at 6 PM my son went in and complained. Manager explained that they had a new system that was difficult to use and apologized. She gave a $15 store gift card for our inconvenience. About 6:20 PM the order came out to the car and we went home. I saw in the shopping bags was actually pretty abysmal. Most of the vegetables were horrible quality or even damaged. You can look at the pictures. I immediately got in the car and brought the food back to Smith's. the manager acknowledged that quite a few items were poor quality. The roast was probably 50% fat, the squash was obviously frozen, thawed, refrozen as it was squishy and bruised. The manager let me pick out some replacement items, and the produce department was obviously waiting for a new shipment as not only were shelves half empty, but the vegetables on the shelves were really poor quality. The manager popped up with another $15 gift card, and said that I would have to go online to request a refund. The items I could replace, she put in a bag and told me not to worry about. I went through the app and requested a refund for seven items and there was absolutely no issue whatsoever. The automated system even credited five dollars to my account for the inconvenience. I've been shopping at Smith for over 20 years, and they've always had amazing customer service and pretty much no questions Asked refund policy. There's a reason this is my grocery store. Not as well staffed as some of the other grocery stores, but the prices are absolutely meant for people on a budget. Also, it's nice to have a rapport with your baker, butcher, and management. I guess the only thing I could add, is when you do a pick up order, check the quality of items and refused them if they're not up to snuff .

    Darigold Fit Milk

So.....CarbMaster milk has been very hard to get lately and Smith's has the Darigold Fit milk that I used to purchase at Walmart in Idaho. Since cutting out hidden sugar, as much as possible, I have felt better. As usual, staff is very friendly and Jose always brings groceries to the car for me if I'm not going inside. Parking lot and store are always clean.

So i like to stop at the Smith's gas station because it is convenient cheap and straight to the point of filling up. This review is on the gas station portion. Love the snacks that are easily accessible and the staff is always friendly and always have the place clean.

New doors on all refrigerated items, minus the meat

I go to the Lemmon Valley Smiths almost daily. They have great digital coupon deals and they just recently remodeled. There is a Starbucks inside now! This Smiths use to have the best deals, but the prices have slightly gone up after the remodel. It is very clean and modern looking now, but that is definitely reflected in the prices. I still shop here for most of my grocery needs since they are still cheaper than Raleys and have decent meat and produce. They are still a good one stop shop! I like to get the 2 piece chicken meal deal from the hot bar. You get to choose from fried breasts, thighs, drumsticks, or chicken tenders. You also get your choice of 2 non protein sides. The meal was $4.99 a year ago, and now it is $7. Still a good deal especially with all of the different sides you get to choose from.

This is what was ordered and charged for.

Last two pickup orders have been pretty awful. Not getting what was ordered, yet charged for. Getting wrong brands, flavors and missing items. Used to be a great service, not so sure anymore.

I think I need to update my review from 14 years ago!!!!…read more I stand by my original post: How wonderful to have a real grocery store that specializes in local and organic products. Much of the produce is locally grown, or locally adjacent (AKA California) OK, Bananas do not grow in the Great Basin. The origin of the produce is identified. They have a large selection of locally produced meats. Lots of organic canned goods, dairy and non-dairy items . . . the list goes on. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The 4 times I received my orders I was very happy with the services provided. They were delivered early before guarantee delivery time frame, my chilled items were packed nicely and still cold! My kids and I love their 365 brand and other featured brands that we have enjoyed as healthier takeout options. Their prices are fair and they offer online specials that have saved me a lot of money at checkout. My orders are sealed and delivered from the store like a doordash order and I never have to leave the house. I subscribed to their grocery deal so my deliveries can be free. I like that I can set my time to have my groceries delivered so I can make sure I'm home. Don't forget to tip your drivers they get to keep every dollar. I found myself out and about with just my son and and we both thought a char grilled kebab sounded like a fun dinner experiment. We popped in and found who were guessing is the owner's child at the register and placed our order for their signature kebab made from ground chicken and Afghani spices. The plate came with sumac spiked basmati rice, two pieces of the chicken kebab and a small green salad plus a green hot sauce. The kebab was tender and juicy with a great flavor profile and a nice bit of charcoal flavor. We thought the rice was actually exceptional light and fluffy with a hint of that citrus sea tang from the sumac, in a buttery finish, made this a nice light side to the kebab. The salad was fresh and crunchy with cucumber, lettuce, and bell peppers and that green hot sauce was really great and we used it as a dressing because the salad did not come with one. For $16 I just felt like the value was a bit often the plate needed at least one more piece of the kebab because when finished with a small tiny salad and the kebab, we were left with a mountain of rice and that is south wasteful. I just wish the plates here were a bit more valued oriented and I guess it will take more people eating here to kind of drive that up. Highly recommend giving it a try plus the market has some really fun fines too. Share your review and let me know what you think.
