The store is badly organized with inadequate signage. I usually leave without multiple items on my list, and they're usually pretty normal items, too. Case in point: a few weeks ago, I had pretzels on my shopping list and had to give up after looking in the candy/chips/snacks aisle and the peanut butter/cereal/granola aisle AND the bakery AND walking around the whole store three or four times. More than one cashier has asked an invasive question or made an uncomfortable comment (although, to be fair, this isn't unique to WinCo. Grocery store personnel in general seem to be going through an interesting phase). Either way, I try to go through the self-checkout aisle as much as possible to avoid the staff.

I get greetings when I come in to the store and I get thank yous or have a nice day when I leave. From any employee, deli, produce--anyone. Very nice people. They have quite the selection. They carry things that you do not find in any other store. (Check out their gourmet chocolates, YUM!) Yeah, their prices are slightly higher than Smith's or Macey's, but it's a good trade off. They have a great artisan bread department. They use a special German oven/bread maker and they send their employees to Germany to the manufacturer to learn how to use it. They have a gelato station at the deli and it is decent gelato. It seems that the one star reviews are the result of a bad manager. Hopefully this store can rectify this situation. Also, there are a few reviews referencing higher prices which I don't understand as everything is increasing in prices and Harmon's is not the only store raising prices on meat. Great place for groceries. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Usually I can find the box fans at Walmart fairly easily, but I had to end up asking an employee for help. This Walmart is very unorganized. I needed some Advil which I found pretty easily. If you can't find the Advil at a Walmart there's a serious problem. I looked where the ice packs were, assuming that the ice packs I needed were gonna be in the same place. But, they weren't for whatever reason. I asked a stocker for help finding the ice packs, and she didn't know where it was. She doesn't know where her products are and she's one of the stockers. Geez. I ended up finding the ice packs after about 5 laps around the store, and they ended up being with the golf balls. Now how does instant freeze ice packs have to do with golf balls? Beats me. I ended up finding everything I needed, which is what matters. An average experience at Walmart, which is a problem.

It shares with a bunch of places and is always busy. I also think the way the carts are set up is a little awkward without a good way to put it back without blocking the road. I went on a Monday at about 5:00, and it wasn't busy at all. They were out of a few of the items I was looking for but had mostly everything I needed. I love the layout of this store. My favorite part was the large selection of fresh and marinated meats, they've got cuts you can't find in a chain grocery store. It's all displayed behind a case, you ask the butcher to weigh the amount you're looking for, then it's bagged and tied up. I got a pound of the marinated flap steak to grill for tacos - it's absolutely amazing! The produce section is a bit limited, but there is plenty of what is needed for Mexican and Central American cuisine; Roma tomatoes, aloe vera, cilantro, radishes, peppers, limes, green onions, yellow and white onions, key limes, etc. Every lime I touched was the perfect ripeness, a very different experience than most other stores' citrus selections. There were many different sizes of corn and flour tortillas, some were crispy, some were made from blue corn, big bags, small bags. I loved the drink selection here of Mexican beers, aloe drinks, yogurt and fruit drinks, etc. There are a few aisles of dry and canned goods, pastas, beans, cooking oils, chips, masa, lots of Mexican sweets, shampoo, household cleaning items. I noticed this market has an awesome hot sauce and spice selection right next to the meat counter, you could probably read bottles for 30 minutes and still have more to see. I found some excellent freshly made unlabeled salsa in a fridge by the check out (very tasty, very spicy!), some baked goods, and a selection of tortilla presses and other cooking implements by the entrance. The staff is very friendly and speaks mostly Spanish, but language wasn't a barrier at all, I got everything I needed here! In love and I'll be back!
