Sandwich selection at the Long An Market deli
    Wallace W.

Long An Market is a clean, large, Asian Grocery store with a deli featuring had made Bahn Mi Vietnamese sandwiches. The staff is friendly and efficient. I've been here a few times and have been happy with both the sandwiches and selection in the market itself. Close to the 1-15 exit on 7200 South it serves the central Salt Lake Valley with a wide assortment of Asian grocery products. Its location makes it a good choice for those not wanting to drive to West Valley or Chinatown for the specialty products they carry.

This is probably my favorite Asian market. I'm a bit OCD, so I appreciate how organized and clean everything is. The staff are always smiling and happy to help. There's a restroom, plenty of parking, and a food court with dining tables, chairs, utensils, condiments, and napkins provided. They offer takeout items like made-to-order banh mi, baguettes, pho, noodle soups, and combo plates. The banh mi is solid and cheaper than most spots, and bun bo hue hits the spot. The market also sells produce, fresh seafood, kitchen supplies, and other groceries. It's super convenient when I want to grab lunch or dinner and shop all in one go. Be back soon!

Not your average local market! Fantastic produce, unique finds and a food court! The best price on lemons in town and my go to place for banh mi.

My current go to Asian grocery store. Produce is super fresh and reasonably priced. I was confused on what vegetable I needed for a recipe and the employee was super friendly and eager to help me find it. Also the deli area is great. The bahn Mi is actually made to order and delicious. I have also had the fresh spring roll multiple times. Great in the afternoon when I need a quick snack.

Popped in a few weeks ago and wow! Very clean. Was thrilled to see such a good variety of fresh herbs that actually look fresh. Everything was reasonable price. They didn't have some of the sauces and spice we were looking for but that's ok! Moving on to the hot food section - lots of variety to pick from. The cold cut banh mi was soo good. The bread was fresh and soft. We loved the bread so much, we actually bought an extra loaf. They have a small seating area for pho, bun bo hue, etc. You just tell the cute ladies what you want and they'll make it fresh and bring it out to you. The bun bo hue had good flavor. Had a good spice as well. The bowl was filled to the top! The cold cut was $6.99 and the bun bo hue was $12.99 (or could be $13.99...) can't remember because we were shocked at how much it was considering they loaded the bowl. We had a question at the meat counter and although they had to get two others to help with the language barrier, everyone was so nice and helpful. Every single person tried their best to help us. I'll definitely be stopping by again to try more foods and to shop of course.

Congratulations and welcome to the neighborhood! A few weeks ago, this large empty space turned in to a valuable business in our community. Long An Market is a small family-owned and operated grocery store. It is a very clean market, with friendly customer service, and surely you can find the Asian ingredients you're looking for. We always appreciate a spacious parking lot that is free to use while shopping in the store. Many handicap stalls are available nearest their front entrance. As you walk in, you can use a wagon or basket to shop. The aisles are wide for those who prefer to be socially distant from others. The shelves are fully stocked with a wide variety of Asian items. Everything seems to be clearly labeled. Fascinated by the refrigerator of fresh herbs! Lots of green leaf vegetables to choose from too. Their produce looks fresh and they also have many freezer or refrigerated items available too. You can also find kitchenware, instant coffee, spices and seasonings, even tasty prepared snacks. Don't forget to check out their desserts and baked bread to make your own banh mi. The full kitchen also sells prepared food items that you can eat in their dining area or take it to go. We are thrilled to have this market near us!

Been going here every weekend from Clinton. Cheapest (1.69) freshest, and largest Vietnamese mints around. They also sell be thui (veal) for ($26 a lb). I also tried their pho($13) and vermicelli ($10) both were delicious. Very spacious and clean.

Banh Mi with French Pate and crispy fresh pork!! Added table-side condiments to my liking!

The space is very inviting, offering a cozy atmosphere with a mix of floor seating and booths that feels both comfortable and unique. Our waitress was fantastic--attentive without being intrusive, regularly refilling our cups and checking in to see if we needed anything. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary soup to start, which had a genuinely homemade, comforting feel. I ordered the Soltani, and it did not disappoint: the ground beef kabob was incredibly flavorful and practically melted in my mouth, while the steak was good, though slightly tough. The rice and grilled tomato were a perfect accompaniment known that tied the whole dish together nicely. Everyone in our group was very pleased with their meals, and I'll definitely be back and recommending Zeitoon Cafe to friends.

Half of the restaurant was being renovated. People were working on the remodel as we dined. I am sure it will be nice. We ordered quite a bit of food, what we got was the perplexing part. They brought a delicious barley soup, no explanation, but was nice. 3 of the 5 things we ordered were incorrect. I mean really? We were the only people in the restaurant! So many people checked on us to see if it was ok. I was embarrassed for them. The koobideh was fantastic but we ordered two mix- we really wanted to try the chicken. Fesenjun is delicious, I have never had with beef before, usually is chicken. The yogurt was good, needed a tad bit of salt. The gormeh sabzi never came, instead we got an eggplant curd, which was good but.... Overall good food but such a strange experience. We so bad wanted a great Persian family meal on a Friday night. Nonetheless, this place is a gem for the area. Try it, I hear they are adding Afghan food to their menu when the remodel is done.

I still go to other markets for certain items (like my favorite kimchi brand that H Mart doesn't sell) but I come here for everything else. It's insanely clean and bright and smells good inside, for those who care about such things. Their produce is fresh and well-stocked (though sometimes random things are very picked over like green onions). They have tons of variety in brands so I can find exactly which Korean/Thai/Chinese variety I've gotten used to. Very well stocked in the pantry aisle and a nice selection of kitchenware and household items, beauty products, gifts. The deli section is well stocked with ready-made kimbap and banchan. Big freezer and seafood section too. There is only a boba and K-beauty shop in the leased storefronts in the front of the market but hoping they attract some restaurants into the area soon like Chinatown. We need some good Asian food down south!

They have a good selection of spices, rice, ghee, beans, tahini, and Indian snack food. They have a refrigerated/frozen section with paneer and some meat, and a small amount of beauty products as well. Prices are reasonable, and if you do buy spices they are sold by the bag, so as long as you'll use it all they are a great deal. Most of the time it is the same guy at the cash register who helps me and he is really friendly, but yesterday I visited and there was no one out front, although I could hear people working in the back. A man came out and looked at me, but didn't say anything, and went right back to the stock room. I was actually looking for a specific spice, but ended up leaving empty handed because I couldn't find it (that's another thing, their organization is a bit haphazard, especially when it comes to the spices). This is the first time that's happened, but it kind of left a bad taste in my mouth. I have no doubt I'll be back, but most likely I'll check other stores first in the future. Oh, and just a note, it is a small store, and on the weekends it can get packed. There is only one cash register, so if you see a lot of cars in the lot I'd come back, otherwise you might wait 15 or 20 minutes to check out.
