I just went in there and I got seven items that I usually get basic stuff fruit turkey cheese, some vegetables milk it was $98. Having celiac makes grocery shopping a nightmare most of the time, but every time I go to Sprouts, I am pleasantly surprised. I walked into this Murray location last week and it was so refreshing after having a rough experience at a different local grocery store. Seriously clean, stocked deli case, and end caps full of gluten-free foods that were clearly labeled. Yes, I took pics for my gluten-free friends, don't judge me! Really though, the new management team is making a huge difference for this location. One of the Managers (didn't catch a name) was so she nice and took the time to walk me through finding the vitamins I was looking for and help me find the best gluten-free protein. I like Sprouts in general, and although I do have few complaints, the workers are always friendly and ready to help. The specific reason for my high score is because whoever is fulfilling the pick up orders the past few months at this location is amazing. They always follow my notes perfectly and I get just what I asked for, whether that's "2 firm and 1 ripe avocados", or "make sure the onion doesn't have any mold growing on it". I was in Sprouts today looking for some gift ideas to say thank you for some regulars of mine that come in monthly to The Cheesecake Factory where I serve tables. These ladies are my gaurdian angels. I was super sick a few months back and they noticed that I was'nt looking very good. They pooled together their resources and left a very generous gratuity with the promise that I go to urgent care immediately after work. So I kept my promise and turns out I'm diabetic. My blood sugar was in the high 500's and who knows how long it had been that way as I had not been feeling well. I also had pneumonia. I was sent immediately to the emergency room where I spent the next 6 days recovering. These ladies saved my life and in appreciation.I was looking for something nice to do. Sprouts team member T heard my story and offered me sample bags to start me off and they were filled with all sorts of goodies! I added some personal items and I am so excited to gift my little ladies with these goodie bags all thanks to T. Thank you for being a cornerstone of my community and I love Sprouts as my go too Neighborhood grocery store. I usually love sprouts but the people who work at this location were super rude and accused me of stealing. I didn't purchase a bag so I just put the supplements that I had bought into my purse. A lady followed me around the store and then asked if I had checked out because she hadn't seen me buy the supplements she helped me find. I told her I had and I had my receipt if she needed to see it. She said no but then walked over to the girl who checked me out and asked if she had helped me and this girl said no even though she had just barely helped me. Then the first lady said yes I need to see your receipt. I won't be returning back to this store. No one even apologized after they saw the receipt and knew that I had purchased them even though they were acting like I didn't. read more

Absolutely love love love, Sprouts! I love the Murray location. It's so convenient and close to everything. The store is so clean and has such a variety of things to shop for. The produce is so fresh and all the food is top quality! I had some Irish bread during St. Patrick's time, and it was absolutely delicious! Talk about some RACIST. I love Sprouts but the manager at the Murray location is a blatant racist. As a person of color I was treated with suspicion the minute I walked through the door. I was told I couldn't have a backpack in the store. "Store policy," the manager said. It's my work pack back with my laptop. I obliged though. 5 minutes later who comes walking through the door with a backpack, a white women. What does the manager say to her, nothing. Several other Sprouts employees saw this other customer with a backpack shop, some even waiving and smiling, but not one stopped her to inform her of store policy. Why? Because apparently store policy only applies to people of color. Murray Sprouts feels hostile. There's always other locations, but come on. Its 2023, not 1950. read more

My original review of Sprouts was long and convoluted, and since that time I've been able to learn a lot more about them, and while it does sometimes drive me nuts to shop here, I think if you do it right it can be a nice addition to your grocery rotation. First of all, this just isn't a one-stop shop for me. Ya, it's much smaller than traditional grocery stores and while it's not the size necessarily, it's just that I enjoy a few particular sections. First, the produce. I do think they do a nice job. Not as an overall blanket statement as I have had some real misses (some brussels sprouts a few years back, recently the peppers and corn were off, and there was a raspberry fiasco where they actually grew mold overnight and while I was taking them back I noticed another person in line doing the same) but I have a higher level of confidence in their produce than most. Especially when they hit their deals--I get their mailer each week and peruse for special deals and sometimes you get berries on the cheap, or pears, or whatever they bought in massive bulk. Speaking of bulk, this is a great stop whenever I have a road trip or backpacking trip. Lots of nuts and mixes and bulk things in good quantity. I also love the bulk spice--they have mace by-the-ounce in bulk. They did, however, stop carrying ceylon cinnamon and that broke my heart a little bit. I also like the meat section. They occasionally put pork shoulder on for dirt cheap and I stock up to make pulled pork. They also do a nice job with sausages, though I've started to make my own (see my comment about buying mace for homemade bratwurst). That's pretty much my rounds here--produce, bulk, meat, and get out. I go nuts when I try to find something in the aisles, or frozen, or dairy. But that's just me, and folks who really love Sprouts, REALLY love Sprouts. I can respect that. It's become an occasional stop for me and it's inspired some good meals. read more

Wow! This store is amazing! I've been looking for dandelion greens for my turtles with little success. A neighbor suggested Sprouts, and the store did not disappoint! Sprouts is always consistent with the produces and the employees are always helpful. I wasn't able to find a certain item and they were able to help me right away. The prices are reasonable and always seem to be fresh. It has a variety of different healthy/organic food. Lots of parking and is right next to the freeway. I moved to Utah from Virginia where we had the most glorious of grocery stores in existence: Wegmans. Seeing my grocery store options here really plunged me into a great depression, from whence I was unsure I would ever recover. Then I found Sprouts. It's not big or fancy, and they don't have everything I need, but the things they do have are great, and generally priced very well. Their produce is by far the freshest of any grocery stores around (don't even get me started on Harmon's-hmph!) and the main reason you'll find me at Sprouts at least once a week. A few weeks back I bought avocados 3 for a $1.00. Generally I just check their weekly ad (you can have it emailed to you, and they also have an app now), and plan my meals around whatever produce is on sale. In the spring and early summer they often have packages of berries for $1.00 each. Bunches of herbs like parsley and cilantro are $0.50, and apples are often on sale for $0.59 lb in the fall. They also carry some unusual produce you can't always find at other stores (Cotton Candy grapes, anyone?). Their meat is also fresh, and generally priced reasonably. The overall section is small, but again, just look for what is on sale. They have grass fed ground beef for $3.99 lb fairly often, and that's a killer deal. Various types of chicken (either whole, or thighs or drumsticks), will go on sale for $0.99 lb, and watch out for the orange "managers sale" stickers-you can often get some great pre-seasoned or just nice meats that way too. I love their bulk foods, and even if it's not on sale it's still almost always less than buying the prepackaged version. And their bulk spices are so handy! I don't think many people take advantage of them but again, the cost savings are enormous. How many times have you had a recipe that calls for some spice you'll never use again, so you buy it for 8 bucks, and then throw it away in two years? Lastly, their employees are so dang friendly. They always say "hi," and you'll experience no difficulty finding someone to assist you. The genuinely seem to enjoy working there (as much as anyone can enjoy a job, at least). This has been the case for every Sprouts store I've visited, not just the Murray location. read more

Honestly, I just went here because they have mascarpone cheese and I needed to make some Tiramisu. (Who knew other stores don't really carry this cheese?) So, I went here and I gotta say I like the humble feel of this place. It isn't as pretentious as...yeah. I don't go here often because I do not live close by it and it's not convenient for me to go to, but I do like this store and I will definitely come back to grab some more mascarpone cheese for my Tiramisu in the near future. read more

SUPERB. Absolutely irresistible for the home cook - beautiful, high quality, simple ingredients. I walked in here looking for one thing and was ensnared in the fabulous produce department. This place has got fancy striped peppers, luxurious butter lettuce, shallots, purple potatoes, rainbow carrots, organic tomatoes - everything! Their meat department is small, but has a great selection, marinated meats, beef, pork, lamb, fish, seafood, even tuna steaks! Bulk nuts roasted and candied in every flavor, high quality bulk candy (like chocolate covered cherries!!), BULK SPECIALTY FLOURS (blanched almond flour, garbanzo flour, and whole wheat pastry flour??? TAKE MY MONEY!), artisan cheeses, I could go on. This place has all of the good stuff and they cut the rest of the crap out. Even the magazines at the checkout are irresistible (hello America's Test Kitchen!) I am absolutely enthralled - Sprouts makes grocery shopping my favorite adventure. Clean store, open and thoughtful layout, with a deli and prepared foods section. The selection is slightly smaller than huge grocery stores, but I feel like the quality made up for any differences. The produce was all pretty fresh looking and moderately priced, there is a decent bulk section of grains, flours, nuts, dried fruits, and some candy. To me, it's like a smaller, less pretentious cousin of While Foods whole got some style tips from Trader Joe's. read more
