Terrible customer service. Mr. Melvin was rude simply for asking about the cost of the invoice, as it was significantly higher than what I had been charged previously. He was likely going to say that the $50 charge was for changing the brake light bulb, which was much higher. The oil change cost was the normal $25.89. When I asked about this cost, he told me in a humiliating manner, "How much do you want to pay?" I told him not to pay, to take his car and find another place. (Of course, I don't set the price, but I have every right to ask.) I want to clarify that I paid $96.73. I want to make it clear that I don't usually ask for money and then refuse to pay. read more

Smith Tire is a hidden gem in Roswell on Alpharetta Street. Far from fancy and shiny like some of the big national tire services but you get great local services and prices that in the case of my recent repair a half of what other tire companies were charging. I don't mind them saving on overhead and not having fancy marketing for a better price and service as long as the job is done right. Check them out, Rick at the front counter is I need guy, friendly and fun to talk too. Looking for a good old fashion customer service with a local feel, this is the place. They might be a tiny bit higher than other places but you can be sure that you will not get ripped off and that your work will be done professionally and correctly the first time. Called in last week about the tire sizes I needed, the guy guy on The phone who didn't say his name told me he would order them for me for today(Monday), after taking my phone and name, to which I was great full for since I'm rolling in my spare right now. called back In today just to make sure he would be ready for me and had got the tires he said he ordered, before I made my way there, he put me on Hold for more than 20 minutes, forgot I was on hold? Lol then proceeded to Pick the phone up with an irritated voice "hello can I help you!??" I was a little confused and reminded him HE put me on hold, to which he put me back on hold and for another 3 minutes and came back to tell me he doesn't have that size and also did not remember me calling last week?? I was hoping to support a local business but damn, I guess this business doesn't value their future customers and have employees with early set dementia? These guys are great!!! I came in to get 4 new tires and they sent me on my way with one. Rick told me that my tires were still good and there would be no point to spend the money in getting new ones. He could have easily given me the new tires and resold my old ones, but he didn't! These guys have integrity. After having tires replaced on my vehicle, unfortunately one of the sensors was damaged. It was found when I took my vehicle to the manufacture for service. I reported this information to Smith tire and they quickly compensated me for my out-of-pocket costs. read more
