They begged me to use cash and said how they just didn't want any business that was using credit card. I did not have cash on me and they were very rude about it. I don't think that's a good way to do business. Plenty of other smog and emissions test centers around. read more

BEWARE!! I purchased a vehicle from this place under the terms that they would do a full inspection that this would be a safe vehicle to drive. They kept the car for 3 weeks before I got it, and told me that this car would last me a long, long time. Well, it had problems as soon as I started driving it, which it over heated and had to have it towed. They had it a couple of weeks and all they did was replace the radiator cap on it and told me it was a great car. I had to have it towed again, which they kept it for 2 months and when I got it back once again, it over heated, I took it back to their shop and they said they were too busy and didn't know what the problem was. it kept overheating, and I had to have it towed, AGAIN.. Keep in mind, that they have had the car for long periods of time every time! which I RARELY drive the car, and when I do, it has problems... They then told me that they would be replacing the water heater and timing belt and kept it OVER a month once again!! Any time that I would call, they said that the owner Gray was handling this, I kept getting the run around. When I picked it up, they had only replaced the water heater which was very disturbing not being accountable with their word and still charging me only doing 1/2 the job, yet keeping it over a month with no regard to my time...on the 3rd day that I drove it, it over heated not even driving 10 miles!! Crabapple Automotive has taken advantage of my kindness and patience and Gray has ignored my calls and has no concern that they charged me and have not handled this from day 1. The car was NEVER safe, and on top of all of this, I rarely drive it, to have so many issues in such a short amount of time. I deserve a refund as the terms were under the conditions that this was a safe, operating vehicle, which has not. I was referred by a friend as he is a friend of these people, and as a female, my thinking that purchasing from an "Automotive Shop" that they would be open and honest if the vehicle was in safe, operative condition. However, it is apparent that they only wanted the money, and take advantage of me and more "repair" costs along with it...only to still not have an operating safe vehicle. They have no regard to even try to make things right or handling this in a professional manner. But they have willingly taken my money and sold me a lemon! **BEWARE!! read more

Highly recommend this business over any other in the area. Both owners are so down to earth and easy to work with. They recently upped their warranty to now cover 3 years/36k - probably depending on certain services - but my big fix was covered under this. My dealership only offered a 1 year on the same product. I'm really disappointed in the last time I came here. They charged me $27 for cheaper wipers on my corolla. I mean I get that there's a labor cost in there somewhere but why tell me it'll be between $15-20. I just don't think it was worth it and the problem I had didn't even go away. Had them work on my car several times. Service is ok at best. They forgot to put back 2 bolts on a new radiator, so it cracked. Acted like they were doing me a favor by not charging me for a new one and still charged me labor. Won't be back. read more
