My engine oil light had been staying on, so I brought my car in to get checked out. They quickly…read morediagnosed the issue as a faulty oil pressure sensor rather than an actual engine fault. The team replaced the sensor right away and ran a thorough diagnostic check on the rest of the oiling system to ensure everything was running safely before handing back the keys. Prompt, transparent, and expert mechanical service from start to finish!

If you have a classic car, don't bother. While the guys here nicely tell you they can help, they…read moredon't explain anything they do to your car so you pick it up and you just hope for the best. They stated multiple times over the years that their "classic car guy" was an expert and could handle a classic car. For the first 5 years of living in atlanta, I took my classic mercedes here until they finally told me their classic car guy was leaving and they wouldn't touch my car going forward. Frankly, they did 5 years of changing my oil and nothing else but they'd charge me for what they called "regular maintenance". Regular maintenance on a classic car should include a lot more than just topping up the oil and calling it a day, but every time I'd mention knocking noises or brake issues or anything else to them, they wouldn't address it at all so I had no idea if they thought it was an issue or didn't. Finally 5 years later, thank god their classic car guy left, because I took it over to a place in Decatur and all of the things I had been worried about, they found a reason, they gave me a full breakdown online of what they recommended and why, they answered all of my questions, and I could pay the invoice online and feel good about it. Update: As of 9:30 p.m., Jacob, the owner, repeatedly called and texted me after my review. He first falsely claimed I'd only visited once four years ago, then offered to pay me, which I refused. After that, he pulled up what he claimed were years of invoices that were not real, despite the fact that I have the original receipts for my own transactions. Even after I repeatedly told him to stop contacting me, he continued until I had to block his number. Based on both my experience and his behavior afterward, I would never recommend this business.

As a lady, I was weary of auto repair shops outside of GM dealers I frequented - must admit that I received preferential treatment as a GM employee. Appreciated the referral and csn honestly state that I nevet felt as if I was being taken advantage of by Fontaine's. Have been going for many years and appreciate the genuineness displayed by Darren. He has had some really good employees also; Chris comes to mind. Not only does he service vehicles with a smile, but he also takes the time to point out any discrepancies and whether it needs to be addressed immediately. I have referred countless people to him because of these qualities. Writing today because Darren was extremely helpful again and my vehicle wasn't even serviced. Dealing with an issue with my tires that involved 2 replacements. I knew Fontaine's had not dealt with tires in the past, but was worth a call. After speaking with Darren I called a few tires places. They didn't have my size tire, but assured me that the difference for ones in stock was minimal. Called Darren back as a neutral party who I trusted. He assured me that the difference would throw my balance off enough to cause a check engine light issue. Decided to wait a day for correct size tires and will get my oil changed at Fontaine's while in vicinity

Long story short; I thought i'd be spiffy and do a little somethin' somethin' to my engine myself. You know the typical, change the air filter, top off the fluids, check the wires, clean the battery, put 2 qts of oil in the engine when the oil was already full. NO SHE DIDN'T!!!! YES I DID. Yep, I put oil where there was no oil needed and low and behold I start driving and the exhaust is smoking and the car is having problems accelerating. I don't technically consider myself a girly girl but at this point I became a girly girl. I freaked. I thought I had done well. I know about cars. I could do this right? Wrong!! ........ I decided i'm going to make it to the service station I could get to. I don't care if I have to be back at work. I must find out what i've done wrong. I'm driving and apologizing to the guy on the bike behind me being blinded by my smokey mcsmoke smokin' car. I pull into jiffy lube. They are oblivious as to what the problem could be. Really? Are you serious? You have no idea what could cause this? Why did they hire you? Seriously. Lucky enough the guy was sweet and smart enough to point me in the direction of F.S.C. I pull in and in all honesty I waited like 2 1/2 hours for Darren to get to my car but I didn't mind because he was super friendly and knew right away what was wrong. I over filled my oil. How did I know my car takes 3-4 qts and I put 2 in there on top of what was already in there. I thought better safe than sorry, but not in the case. What I like about this place is that business is really good here which to me says somebody is doing something right. Not to mention everyone that came in to get serviced or drop their cars off knew the service tech, Darren, by his name and I saw one lady bring him a cake and another brought him cashews because apparently those are his favorite. What is this guy doing, selling crack? Nope. Once he was able to get to my car he was very thorough in explaining to me what was wrong with my car, what I had done and how it affected my car, and he also pointed out other things in my car that I was curious about. (Note: This is how you learn how to work on your own car or atleast do the little things that can save you alot of money. Most people don't even know where the air filter is. Why would I pay someone $15 for a $3 air filter I can put in myself) Point being this place is a little shop attached to a Texaco gas station in Mableton on Floyd rd. I would have never thought in a million years I would let someone who worked at a service station attached to a gas station even touch my car but I was pleasantly surprised. Darren was super friendly, very knowledgable about all makes and models of cars from what I saw, and the prices were very reasonable. $20 for an oil change, $40 for a tune up, etc etc. I don't think they deal with major issues but they definitely do things like the oil change, brakes, radiators, and so on. I can't believe i'm saying this but I would totally check this service station out if you're in the area and looking to get something done to your car. The place looks a little sketchy but the service and customer service totally make up for it.

Rating: 5/5 I can't…read moresay enough good things about this automotive shop! They first worked on my 2011 Maxima back in 2022 when I needed a radiator replacement. My car was overheating, but after they replaced the radiator, I haven't had a single problem since. So when my Maxima recently started leaking oil from multiple places -- the valves, valve pan, and O-ring -- I didn't hesitate to bring it back to them for a tune-up. Once again, they did an incredible job! My car now runs like it's brand new, and I couldn't be more pleased. The team is not only highly skilled but also professional, honest, and very forthright. They kept me in the loop throughout the entire process, explaining exactly what needed to be done and making sure I was comfortable with everything before moving forward. I was especially impressed by how the mechanic remembered my car from two years ago! He hadn't seen me since 2022, but he knew my vehicle right away, which shows the level of care and personal service they offer. The quality of work and customer service here is so impressive that we've officially replaced our dealership with them! I recently dropped off my Nissan Rogue for repairs, and we plan to bring my son's Honda here as well. This is the shop we trust for all our vehicle needs going forward. If you're looking for a trustworthy, reliable, and skilled auto shop that treats you like family and gets the job done right the first time, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

After their "diagnostic," I was told my rotors were warped and agreed to repairs totaling about $2,200, believing they had actually identified the problem I came in for. They didn't. The original noise, wobble, and vibration were still there. I brought the car back, and suddenly they discovered that my driveshaft was completely loose--and now I'm being quoted another $1,500+ just for the part. How does a shop perform a diagnostic for noise, wobbling, and vibration and completely miss a major driveline issue? I spent thousands of dollars based on their diagnosis, the actual problem was never fixed, and now I'm expected to spend thousands more for something that should have been identified the first time. At this point, I feel completely taken advantage of. I would not trust this shop with another repair.

This IS the shop you're looking for! If interested, read on…read more.. I'm a BMW fanatic, currently on my 5th one. Have had lots of experience over the years from the dealerships down to the backyard mechanics. Finding a good, honest and affordable BMW mechanic has always been a challenge, and rarely do you find all of those qualities in one shop. Not any more... I bought a 2009 128i convertible for my daughter that had some known issues when I acquired it, most notably an electrical glitch and a leaky valve cover gasket that would drip onto the manifold and smoke pretty bad. I took it to a different shop that told me the electrical glitch could require replacing at least a control unit (ECM) and more, and could potentially be thousands of dollars. In fact, they seemed reluctant to tackle the job. They also gave me a quote on the gasket replacement, just over $1700. I knew that a lot of the quote was for unnecessary parts, not merely a valve cover seal. Tommy and team worked on the 128, replacing the valve gasket for only a few hundred dollars, ran diagnostics and a reset of the electrical system and put a full charge on the battery which seemed to fix the problem. He said we could throw expensive parts at it (ECM and CAS modules), or wait to see if problem recurs again. After a couple of weeks, still no issues with it! I am thoroughly satisfied with the work performed by Ultimate Motorwerks, and will absolutely rely on them down the road!

In two visits to his shop, he had gained our trust and respect - he is beyond knowledgeable and his price point is incredibly reasonable. He listened to our concerns and he did exactly what we asked and went above and beyond in his services. He spotted and oil leak that one of the previous repair shops "left" and took photos for us to take to show them so that we can get in repaired under warranty - he did not try to upsell us anything and he has a great smile too! If you are looking for quality work on your vehicle - call Tommy at The Ultimate Mototwerks! You will be glad you did! Thank you Tommy!

First of all, Jeremy was kind, funny and professional. Their staff is also diverse and professional. The place is extremely clean and they are even thoughtful enough to have snacks and coffee. They were able to identify the issue and resolve it in a timely manner. I know for a lot of car repair shops, it often takes days maybe even sometimes weeks to do a big repair. In my case, I had a semi-intense repair needed for my engine and they were able to resolve it within 2 days. As a woman, it is important to me that I am being treated fairly and with kindness when engaging in conversations and inquiries with a car repair shop. The shop was very clean which is important to me since often times, people will choose to wait in the shop why their car is being repaired or services. As stated, they were very informative, approachable, and even showed pictures displaying the issue of my car while also providing the severity of it. It's been about 3 weeks since my repair and I haven't had any issues with it since. Definitely will be my go to car repair shop if I ever run into any issues in the future.
