Big mistake. What should've been a straightforward job turned into an absolute nightmare. My car sat in their shop for over three months. I was told, "Just two more weeks," repeatedly--almost like clockwork every couple of weeks, with no real progress or explanation. At one point, I was told the delay was because they needed to install a windshield--a task that should take 15 minutes. That turned into weeks. Then I was told the glass broke and had to be reordered, but they couldn't provide any documentation to support this or anything else the insurance company needed. Now, I'm stuck with a rental car bill because they failed to communicate or supply what's required for my claim. The dent was eventually repaired, but the entire process was completely unprofessional. What's worse: it became clear my car had been sitting idle for weeks, untouched. There's no paper trail, no updates, and no urgency. I feel completely misled. If you value your time, money, and sanity, go somewhere else. Being referred by the Jaguar/Range Rover dealership should mean something--but in this case, it just sent me straight into a mess. Update: Jaguar/Range Rover states they will ensure ALL service managers are aware that they will not refer anyone here again.

Buckhead Collision gave me an estimate to replace the front bumper--$2,583.56--and I was told I would have my car back in a week. Tesla had already given me an estimate that exceeded this one by $600, so I went with Buckhead Collision. Big mistake! Eleven days later, Buckhead Collision called to tell me that they discovered damage underneath the bumper that would cost me an additional $87.79. Would I approve this additional cost? Already annoyed that I was supposed to have my car back four days earlier, I nevertheless agreed to this additional cost. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get my car back for another five days, scraping by with expensive Uber rides whenever I had to go somewhere. Then Buckhead Collision gave me the final bill, which was not $87.79 over the original estimate but rather $305.92 over the original estimate. Buckhead Collision obtained my approval only for the cost of the part, not the additional labor. With the additional cost of Uber rides factored in, I would have saved myself money taking my car to Tesla in the first place. After I got home from Buckhead Collision, I realized that they did not even bother to reattach my vanity plate on my front bumper. I found it laying in the frunk. So I took my car to Tesla Collision Tucker, and they reattached it at no charge. I should have taken my car to Tesla Collision Tucker in the first place. I want to keep this review short, so I won't even summarize the owner's rude behavior toward me when I complained about the escalating cost and time to repair my car. If you own a Tesla, take it to Tesla Collision Tucker. They are decent people.

On 10/25, I brought my 2011 Audi A4 with 115K miles to Motorcars International because my engine coolant light came on. My go-to mechanic (German Car Repair) was too far away, and Motorcars International had decent reviews--clearly misleading. After dropping off my car, I was contacted with a list of "necessary repairs": replacing the coolant pipe, upper timing cover, and upper control arms, totaling over $1,700. Trusting their "expertise," I approved the repairs. The moment I picked up the car and drove the short 1.7 miles home, red flags started flying. When I turned off the car in my garage, I noticed a bizarre running noise, something I had NEVER experienced before. Concerned, I called the shop, and the front desk guy told me it was "normal"--some absolute nonsense about it stopping after five minutes. Spoiler alert: it wasn't normal. Later that SAME day, I drove 4.4 miles, and guess what? The engine coolant light came back on! I just picked the car up only a few hours ago. How is this possible after just spending over $1K? When I called the shop again, front desk dude was, unsurprisingly, smug and useless. His "maybe you should bring it back" response was annoying. Ya think?! He even admitted they "might not have driven the car long enough" after the repair. What kind of shop doesn't properly test a car after repairs?! Afraid to risk the highway, I spent two hours crawling 4.4 miles back home, pulling over repeatedly as the engine coolant light kept coming on and giving my car time to cool off. It was a nerve-wracking ordeal that could have been avoided if they had done their job right the first time. The next day, I took the car back, only to be told that the water pump--the real culprit--needed replacing. This repair cost me an additional $1,164.92. When I asked why they didn't catch this the first time, I got some ridiculous excuse about it "not showing up." Newsflash: a thorough diagnostic should have uncovered this issue in the first place. Where is the subject matter expertise. I argued they should at least cover part of the cost since their negligence led to this fiasco, but they refused. This shop's lack of thoroughness, laziness, and poor communication could have cost me my safety. What if my engine had failed while on the highway? In total, I spent nearly $3,000, most of which could have been avoided had they done their job properly the first time. I will never return to Motorcars International and strongly urge anyone reading this to look elsewhere. For quality, professional, and thorough service, go to German Car Repair on 6070 Atlanta Hwy in Alpharetta. They have master Audi technicians, fair prices, and won't risk your safety with half-baked repairs.

I've taken my car here several times and it just seems whenever I do I have a bad feeling. I…read morebelieve the owner is dishonest and a bit of a scammer. During my most recent visit, I took my car to him because a hose busted and leaked the coolant. Not long after getting it repaired, another hose busted so I took it back to him. I can't say, for sure, that he caused it but I was suspicious of the fact that something else had gone wrong so soon after getting it back from him, plus this particular hose was not that old. Both of the recent times that my car was there, it was towed to him. Hour after hour would pass and I'd be calling to see if the car was received and asking for an update about my car, but no answer. Finally, after hearing back I was told the job was done. I find that very odd and sneaky. I've never seen someone just complete a job without calling first to let the customer know what has to be done and the cost. It's almost like he wanted me to feel obligated to accept the job since it was already done. Anyway, immediately after getting my car back, I notice the check engine light is on and there was a funny sound. So, I go back. He attempts to tell me that things can go wrong at any time. But again, I find it more than coincidental that something just happens to go wrong, again, after him working on it, especially when I have NEVER had a check engine light come on. He then proceeds to tell me to pop the hood and he fiddles in my engine saying he wanted to make sure he had everything connected. After failing an emissions test, I eventually, took my car to another shop. Thank God the new place had an owner who is honest and who kept me informed. After getting my car and doing the diagnostics, he asked if someone else had worked on my car recently. I told him that someone had (Crest Truck & Auto). Well, the guy at the new shop tells me that a vacuum hose was left disconnected and that was probably the cause of my check engine light and all of the issues my car was having. Again, thank God the new guy was honest. He reconnected the hose and only charged me the diagnostic fee. There is no doubt in my mind that the guy at Crest Auto purposely left the hose disconnected for the sole purpose of having me come back to him and have to pay for an issue that was not really even an issue. Rather, it was an issue he created. I don't think, at all, it was an accident. But, hypothetically, let's say it was. It still points to his messy and unprofessional work. I'm thankful that I didn't fall for his trap, but it still cost me having to pay someone else's diagnostic fee and pay for emissions testing twice. I should have avoided this shop after the first time that I took my car there. During that visit, he bled my system. His price was reasonable and he seemed decent so I thought I had found a good mechanic to go to. But during that same visit, I also asked him how much it would cost to replace one tire sensor that was broken. When I spoke to him on the phone, he told me that all four of my tire sensors were bad. However, I was already aware that only 1 sensor was bad, because I was told by the tire shop who replaced all of my tires. And to think, I almost wondered if maybe the tire shop was mistaken... However, when I went back to them and got just the one tire sensor replaced, I never had an issue again. This means that the guy at Crest Auto was lying and more than willing to charge me "to replace" 3 tire sensors that were perfectly fine. Also during this same visit, as I was paying with my credit card, I swiped it but, thankfully, I noticed that he had put the wrong amount. If I remember correctly, it was an extra $100 dollars. I informed him and, of course, he made it seem like a mistake. But, given all of his other shady behaviors, I'm not buying that. I think he wanted to try his luck, in hopes that I wouldn't notice and would accept the charges. The moral of this story is, don't go here. Even the tow truck driver commented, "If it were me, I wouldn't take my car there."
