I needed an oil change and a check on an engine warning. I really didn't have a regular mechanic here so I turned to Yelp to find one that I should try. This one came up as available and had decent reviews. It is a small holo in the wall garage but they got me in asap... they did the work quickly and efficiently and I was out of there in about 2 hours. There is not much of a waiting area... thank goodness I was the only one waiting... and there is nothing to be able to walk to... so my suggestion is drop off and come back if you have to wait long. They were busy... lots of work being done, lots of cars in the lot to be worked on. All in all a good experience. read more

This business is a nightmare! I took my Honda Civic for an oil change, and when I got home, the oil was leaking on my driveway. Why? Because the mechanic that was hired and untrained did not properly fasten the oil plug at the bottom of the pan. Don't ask me why I took it back two more times after they fixed it, but I also had a splash guard on the bottom of the car that needed to be replaced and they did not fasten it with the screws supplied and taped it instead, and on a trip to Nashville it dragged on the highway costing me $45 to stop at a shop to have it repaire. I returned and they would not reimburse me the $45. My wife took her Lexus RX 350 there to have tires rotated and when we had our tires replaced recently, we were told they put the wrong lug nuts back! I had to replace all the lug nuts. The worst thing about this place and you can see it another reviews, is that they continue to recommend services that are not needed at prices that are much higher than anywhere else in town. What about there 12 point inspection that they do whenever you get an oil change? So forget about that because they do not top off the fluids or even check them and I found that my radiator had no fluid in it. This place should be put out of business. Kevin is a nice individual, but he does not have follow up skills and the manager has no Customer Service skills and good luck ever trying to reach the owners who don't even read these reviews, so I'm not sure why I'm writing this... read more

EDIT: I recently had a repair done at Speed Auto that took 3 weeks to complete. At the time I picked my vehicle up, I was very unhappy with my service and the costs involved to get a full resolution between Speed Auto Roswell and the dealership. I outlined everything that happened in an email to them, and Speed Auto Repair reached out with a desire to rectify the situation. I am working with them now and would like to change my review to reflect that. They understood my frustration and assured me that most of the delay was out of their control. They seem genuinely concerned that I get a happy resolution. I understand that sometimes things happen and I should have made sure I got a hold of someone before writing a poor review. I was frustrated, but they ultimately heard my concerns and made right. All's well that ends well. Was going there for 4 years straight. Then all of a sudden when I come in for my service I was told they will no longer offer my locked in oil change price. Welp, you just lost a customer that was coming consistently. Also the manager is rude every time I came in. He must not like black women. Prices were increased years and years ago. I have gone to this Speed Auto Repair location starting early 2023 for any of my car concerns. They're reliable, efficient, honest about the repairs and what needs to be done vs what will eventually need to be done, and their prices are competitive with other places so I'll continue going here for the foreseeable future. Yes the service was quick but 30mins after I left my car battery and brake light came on and then it soon cut off. I was in the middle of the street and had to wait 3 hrs for a tow. I was due for an oil change on my car. Driving a VW Jetta I'm used to paying a bit more for a German car than other cars. This was the fastest, cheapest I've ever got it done for ever. I was there for about 20 minutes just enough time to finish an article in the AJC. Granted I came soon after they opened on a Saturday morning. They were friendly, courteous and didn't try to up sell me on anything I didn't need. Walked out paying $29 when usually I pay twice that or more for my VW. These guys picked my truck up for an oil change and proceeded to total my truck, insurance took cate of everything without much fight, so I thought I'd give them my business again since they did a good job on my wife's van, I took my new to me truck in to get the brakes looked at to be told I needed new rotors and brakes all around at a cost of almost $900.00. I picked the truck up and took it to the dealership I bought it from to raise Cain to why they would sell me a truck with no brakes, they took the truck in for inspection, turns out they had put new front brakes on when I bought it, no rotors were worn out, the only thing wrong was the back needed new brakes which they comped for my troubles. I took a used Mercedes Benz that I was trying to buy to this shop to get inspected prior to purchasing the car. I had called 2 days before to take another Mercedes I was looking at, set up an appointment, and when I called to let them know I was on my way NOBODY picked up. I ended up going to Deutschland Auto Service who spent about 1 hour doing an inspection on the Mercedes Benz and gave me a detailed report on the car. Fast forward 2 days after I was in a rush to get another Mercedes Benz inspected, I took it to this auto shop and they "inspected" the car in less than 20 mins LOL they didn't give me any sort of detailed report and tried ripping me off by charging me $130 but prior to actually coming in the receptionist told me it would be $60. I purchased the car because I believed what they told me but now I come to find out the moonroof has damage. Praying that nothing else is wrong with this car.
