I hired this company to diagnose an issue with my RV slide and paid $200 for the service call…read more Their conclusion was that the motors needed to be replaced, and I was told they would follow up with a quote for parts and labor. Instead, I contacted BAL, the manufacturer of the slide system, directly. BAL recommended a retrofit repair kit as the proper fix, which I purchased myself for $160. That kit includes two new motors. Once I had the OEM-recommended parts, I asked this company for a labor-only quote. After multiple follow-ups, they declined to even provide one, stating their technician "has not had good luck" with these retrofit kits and that they were not comfortable performing the repair. That's the part I find most frustrating. The retrofit kit still involves replacing the same motors they originally diagnosed as failed. If they were not comfortable performing the manufacturer-recommended repair, that should have been disclosed upfront -- before I paid for a diagnosis and spent time sourcing the solution myself. I appreciate their honesty in ultimately admitting their limitations, but that honesty came after the fact, not before. In the end, I paid $200, got no repair, no quote, and no clear path forward until I handled it myself. Future customers should ask upfront whether the technician is experienced with their specific slide system and whether they are willing to quote labor separately before paying for a diagnosis.

While I could have had it repair, we got it used and there was a shelf or two missing and it was just time for a change. I already knew what replacement would fit perfectly (Dometic NRX 60C), but where to get it and have it installed (because I do not know what I am doing), I was at a loss. I reached out to two places. EXO was the first one to respond, it was HOW they responded, that made me know this was the right place. First, it was a holiday, I was surprised to hear anything at all, but I got a quick specific reply to let me know they could do that and they would reach out the following day to get it scheduled. They needed to order the fridge for me and we all hoped it would arrive within two days, by Friday. It is now Friday late afternoon and she is done! Please note, we leave tomorrow MORNING! I am so very grateful! The communication was fantastic, I knew what was going on every step of the way. We agreed on a time and I said I was flexible so they were able to see me even sooner! They took out my old item, which also had some warped wood around it (argh), replaced it with my new fridge which fit PERFECTLY! My son and I chatted with Joe and Joey while they worked. We talked about travel and pets. Ha, what more can you ask for?! Funny thing Joey just returned from where we are going and wow, the pictures! I can't wait. Once the fridge was in and cooling, I asked for one more thing... We had an outlet that I wanted replace with a USBC outlet and I asked if they wouldn't mind doing that too. Not the kind of problem you want to deal with on a trip. I called Nick and he responded right away. He made time to come out the same day. Instead of delaying the repair, he tracked down the part himself, picked it up, and came back to install it. That level of effort matters when you are on a tight timeline. The second time was another leak but much worse. It was a burst pipe and there was water damage in my under storage. I called in the morning and they were able to come out the same day and fix the leak so that we could get our water turned back on. Then they came back a few days later and were able to repair all the water damage. They replaced all the moldy rotten wood and covered it with vinyl flooring instead of carpet, which was what was there originally. The price they quoted was the price I paid. They cleaned up after themselves. I've had some bad experiences with RV repair companies and find that they all pretty much charge about the same but some of them drag out the work and run up the cost. This company does not do that. They work quickly and efficiently and the quality of work is exceptional. I highly recommend this company. I have no relation to them. I found them on the internet doing a Google search.
