Very disappointed. Last year Needed solar package to be installed on my Class C RV. They gave me estimate and i ordered everything they asked. Spent close to $5K on equipment. Next day I called no answer, email still no answer. And I was getting ready for Burning Man did not know what to do. Time was running. They got back to me week later. It was too late. Joe and Joey seem like nice guys but I'm not sure they understand the business they are in. Mobile RV repair needs to be responsive. At least, promptly returning phone calls, even if you can't get to me to do the work quickly. Sometimes, a little advice on what to do in an emergency would be nice. Twice, I was stuck with an RV problem and phoned them. It took days and even weeks to get back to me. One incident was on work they had performed. Quality of work is also suspect as I have had to have another repair shop fix their work. The son, Joey, even read me the riot act over the phone for trying to reach them too often during this emergency. Just unprofessional and poor customer service. Can't recommend these guys. read more

Spent hundreds of dollars and generator never was repaired right. Our generator is now not running at all. After they lost a part and had to reorder it and asked me to pay for shipping again I was so frustrated. Please look for another business to have your repairs done. Rob and Joe of EXO Mobile RV Service are the best! Skilled, professional, attentive, reasonably priced and HONEST! Even though I owned my Class A RV for over 7 years, I never became very proficient in fixing issues that always come up with these rigs (I'm going to play the "but I'm a girl" card on this one). So I have to depend on the pros. Happily, I found EXO. In getting ready for a big annual road trip, I discovered the generator was suddenly running really rough. As soon as I called EXO, I could tell they were different. We set an appointment for just a day or two later (they can come to where your RV is located) and not only were they right on time, they quickly assessed and diagnosed the issue and provided a full explanation of their recommendations and full disclosure of the cost of parts & labor. A few days later (they had to order a part), they came back, installed the part in a flash, tested it and the ginny was purring like a kitten again. But that's just the first part of the story... Cut to a few days after the generator service call. I notice a large puddle of water under the rig. Oh dear. I'm leaving for a 2 week journey in days! I call Rob and Joe again. They arrange to come out right out. After checking all the usual sources, crawling under, and looking inside the RV, they quickly discover the issue. Luckily, it's only a cracked PVC pipe from the water pump to the bathroom area. They fix that on the spot! I've worked with other RV service providers and EXO has them all beat in customer service, turnaround time, convenience and even price! read more

These fellows were recommended to me by a friend This is the second time I have used them and would have them work on my motor home again without hesitation. They are neat, clean, efficient and both have great personalities which makes the repair all the better. They did a lot of work this last time and I immediately am out camping without worry that something might go wrong with the job they did. I've had issues with other repair places and the problem not being fixed correctly the first time. That's why I will always call EXO first and last. I wanted someone to get my generator going. I found this mobile shop and they came out to my house to look at it and got it going right away without having to remove it from the camper. We then had them replace several other parts and do various maintenance. They were great to work with, and we got our truck camper all spruced up again. They are now on my go-to list when I have an issue. Prices are reasonable, and the convenience of having them work onsite is awesome. read more

EXO RV Services came to my rescue. My family was a day away from a trip when we discovered an issue with our slide. The large slide was stuck in the extended position. Joe & Joey were able to arrange their schedule, identify the problem, and return on the morning of our trip to fix the issue. I was impressed with their professionalism and friendliness. These people are crooks! They charged us $50 to come out?? Even though they got the job. $100 to DIAGNOSE the problem, which we had already found, and told them exactly where it was and what was wrong! Then they showed up late on the day of repair 11:00, had to leave at 5:00 as the facility closed up (6 hrs) Came back the following day to finish up! put the shower back in (30 minutes job) Called us at 9:30 to come pay them for 8??? hours at $100. They are was too expensive for my pocket book! Will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN! read more

Update: I am updating this review to state that after weeks and emails I received my paperwork in the mail. I spoke with Joe and he said there were some health issues relating to why I didn't get it sooner. I will say this; the work Joe and Rob did on my RV was very satisfactory. So I have updated to three stars for the quality of work done on my RV. I had my awning motor replaced on May 11, 2015 by EXO and asked to please leave me the paperwork on the motor (afterall I paid for it). They said they would but left with it. I assumed it was by accident so I called both cell phones and sent a text asking to please drop it by. This was done shortly after they left my house but no reply was received. I received the "PAID" invoice by email that afternoon and sent a reply asking about my paperwork for the awning motor. I received a call telling me it would be sent in the mail. After waiting 1 1/2 weeks I sent an email asking about it, no response. I waited another week and sent another email in case they didn't receive the previous one, no response and no paperwork in the mail as promised. When they had to order the motor for my awning I receive a call asking me to send a check for the part to them. I put the check in the mail that same day and they said they received it the very next day. I kept my part of the deal but they have not. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of customer service by EXO. read more

Called EXO Mobile Repair to come out to repair an electrical problem with our trailer. Rob walked me through some various steps on the telephone which, if worked, would save us the service call. Voila! The electrical problem turned out to be a breaker switch. Rob even helped us find the hidden generator switch... all saving us the service call! Rob and Joe are personable and really know how to fix RV related issues. The hydraulic jacks on my Class A motorhome were in a major failure mode and would not lower to the ground. Several trips to the selling dealer only fixed the jacks temporarily. The jacks would get 'fixed' and then not lower once I went camping. Eventually, hydraulic fluid spilled everywhere and the hydraulic lines burst away from their fittings, creating one huge mess. Joe and Rob analyzed my situation. They procured new heavy-duty hydraulic line fittings and related parts and got these jacks working flawlessly, time and again. They take pride in the job they do.. I just recently became a 32' Fifth Wheel owner for the first time. A newer 2017 Coachman Chaparral. I was feeling confident that the unit I bought was sound. But was unable during my thorough inspection to access the underbelly heated compartment. When I got the coach home, I found that one of 2 slide rooms would not move out. Even though the day before I was able to bring the room in fine. I watched some YouTube videos explaining that you can manually move the rooms with a socket wrench. I was able to find the slide motor after removing one of the underbelly panels. I began having problems immediately because I could not make the room move even though and even though I had turned the actuator something seemed jammed. I looked at the (rail actuator) and found that my efforts had bent the rail slide and screw drive attachment arm. I did not want to take the coach to an RV repair center, because I've heard on youtube that dealers take advantage of new RV owners. So I searched on Google for a Mobile RV Service that was local to me here in Garden Grove. Thankfully I found EXO Mobile RV Service. I made an appointment to have Joe Pactwa & Rob Ramsey have a look at my coach and situation. I thought I had completely ruined my room rail system. After looking at my coach they were able to explain exactly what happened, Why I was not able to manually move the room, and that I could not have anticipated the problem, they explained what needed to be done to repair the problem. After temporarily fixing one slide room it became evident that the other slide motor also had some issues as well. After discussion with Joe and Rob, the recommendation was to replace the motors and the screw drive rams for both rooms this was due to these rams and motors be exposed to flood water during last years Houston hurricane. This was not what I wanted to hear, especially after hearing the replacement price. However, it was the logical resolution, and also would prevent future slide room problems and unreliability. Because there was visible evidence of water intrusion (not inside the RV,) only water as high as the slide rams and electric motors. Since this coach is going to be my fulltime home in the immediate future I agreed the replacement was necessary. So they ordered the parts and would schedule a new appointment when the replacements came in, and so they could be installed. Both Joe and Rob appeared to be honest, on time, fair-minded, and did not mind me asking technical questions along the way, nor did they mind me watching their work. They do make a good team and know their job well and also know what they're doing during the repairs. I learned quite a bit in the diagnosis process, which made me feel much better, after the first appointment Joe went around my Fifth wheel with me and explained many questions on the functionality of RV's and all of the systems. Including batteries, charging system, battery emergency shut off switch, water connections, electrical connections. What to do vs (what not to do.) how to level the rig, and why it's necessary, how to run appliances, and not overload the electrical system etc. For me a first-time RV'r. I appreciated this very much. If your looking for dependable Mobile RV repair in the Orange County area do not hesitate to call EXO Mobile RV Service and Repair. Had a clunking sound on my generator and was told it was a carb that needed replacement. I agreed to 475.00 to do this work with labor. They put in the new carb and still clunking sound. I asked them whats going on and they said it would be (AT LEAST) 200.00 more to pull generator out of truck to see if that was the problem. Let me get this straight i would now be 700.00 and not know what the problem is? Your call but anybody with common sense would question this business Tatic..FYI i had them put old carb back in and paid the 150.00 fee for them just to go away! read more

We have now had two service experiences with EXO working on our a/c units and misc seals. They came to us in an Rv park, which was so convenient! While it was not the cheapest (sometimes low bidder is not beneficial), both Rob & Joe are knowledgeable about Rv's as well as dealing with warranty companies and come right to you. They handled our warranty claim for a new a/c from beginning to end. I wish they had the piece of equipment to raise the new a/c to the top of our rig since our warranty did not cover the cost of renting it, but these guys are very personable and competent. They serviced our second a/c and the difference in performance is immediately evident. We would definitely use them again if needed and can recommend them happily. read more
