We have been using RV Solutions for almost two years now after a recommendation from a friend. Our first experience was in front of our home when our hydraulic slide out leaked all the fluid and the slide-out wouldn't go back in. We had a double dually blowout on the freeway coming out of Joshua Tree that took out our electrical system and a storage space near the driver's side rear tire. Do not use these guys!!! Let me make a long story short. We "found" these guys via yelp a few years ago. Met with Lionel who promised us the world (should have been our first clue). Our class B spent several months with him for upholstery, stereo, indoor shades, exterior trim, upgraded propane access, plus a few other items. We spent thousands of dollars. And today the last of every single thing they have done failed. I am not kidding - every single thing they touched has fallen apart, flat out broken or just proven to be so poorly done that a redo was inevitable. We spent our money - there's nothing for the redo - these guys are awful. AWFUL. Now the RV we thought we would retire with is a mess. And I totally throw it in Lionel's lap. Do not use these guys. And I only gave them one star so that I could post this review So just so you understand my frustration: they put in a new stereo. We're out on the road in the middle of nowhere and reach over to adjust the stereo and it literally pushes through the dash because as it turns out it was never secured and was the wrong size for the hole in the dash. And the damage they did to the dash removing the original stereo I'm putting in this piece of crap is irreparable. They reupholstered some areas of the interior all of which have begun to peel back because it appears they used glue which did not hold well in heat. We wanted an outdoor speaker and we got one that only works if you have a cell signal on your phone which was the problem we had to begin with and had explained to him because we do a lot of off grid camping. Then there were the day/night shades we asked for because we have a small rig and when the sun shines in it's right on our face in the morning. What we ended up with were privacy shades which is just so nobody can see in but still allows the sun to welcome us brightly every single morning. The exterior trim work was not done correctly and the propane line extension they put in flat out didn't work. Not from the first day we went camping. That's enough to give you an idea of why are so frustrated and angry. Did I say do not use these guys?? And my husband just reminded me that I didn't mention the windshield which was leaking when we took it to Lionel . They were supposed to seal it to secure us in the event of bad weather. Well we were up in Alaska this summer where of course it was raining right into the lap of the passenger seat. And it was seriously leaking. So something else that we paid an additional several thousand dollars to have repaired (again) only to be told and shown where Lionel and his guys had not properly sealed or reseated the window which caused even further damage to the rig then we'd had to begin with. We take our rig to Leonel, RV Service Solutions, because he knows what he's doing and has integrity. He has never made a promise to us that he did not keep. He does quality work at a fair price. Just recently we called him from the other side of the US because we sat and watched a lightning storm from our window instead of going outside and disconnecting from the pedistal. Of course we blew out our power. We followed our manual & found a GFI that had popped. That took care of half the power. We spent the next few hours trying to figure out how to get the other half back on. No joy. That's when we called Leonel .
