I called Brian Westman at Canterbury Chimney Sweeps to get his take on the issue. Brian came out and suggested a simple and direct repair which made complete sense, and was not over the top regarding the cost. Brian's estimate was well within the realm of fairness, honesty and affordability. Brian completed the repairs and the water intrusion issue was brought to an end. I plan on having Brian come and inspect the chimney every couple of years to make sure it is in top condition. Also, the phone contact with his office was simple, direct and an overall pleasant experience. I highly recommend Canterbury Chimney Sweeps. Frederick C.
