Wow! I'm highly impressed by this burger joint! As hungover as I was and sick to my stomach, this being my first meal of the day hit the spot. Very well executed burgers, cooked to perfection with delicious bun. I wasn't a big fan of the fries, a little too much rosemary and thyme for my liking otherwise everything was very good. Arrived at Harrahs later in the evening on Thursday, October 18th around 7:30pm and wanted to grab a bite to eat. For quick options at Harrahs, there's Smash Burger, Pin Up Pizza, Cinnabon and Red Mango. We figured Smash Burger would be the freshest option since the pizza looked like it had been sitting there awhile. We ordered 2 bacon cheeseburgers, one was a meal with tators and a drink and then a chocolate milkshake. Our total came to around $27. A gentleman brought out the milkshake quickly and it was okay. Good consistency, but not very chocolatey. The Pepsi was kind of watery too. Our burgers came out and weren't that appealing. Especially for the price we paid. We had kept our expectations low, and even though we didn't expect much, we were still kind of disappointed. The patties were seasoned okay, bun was alright, bacon was small and was just kind of "meh"... It also had pickles and onions on the burger. The tators were the only thing that were pretty good. Overall...we ate overpriced burgers, tators and drinks. But that's what you get at a hotel burger joint. Would we go back? Probably not unless we had to. As a side note: we went to In and Out burger tonight (it's a must have whenever we're in the US), had 2 double cheeseburger meals and it was only $15. Last time I came to this spot in the Harrah's it was a McDonalds. Burgers are ok, skip the oily fries!!! We had the mushroom burger and the bacon burger, they were actually pretty good! They were what I expected for a Laughlin casino. However, we had the truffle French fries and they were soaked in oil! Like literally the oil was dripping off the fries, we couldn't eat them, we threw almost all of them away. read more

Burger was good, tots weren't cooked, asked for new ones twice, still got raw tots. People were saying they were waiting over an hour, took me 30 min to get a burger and raw tots. I'd avoid this place until they get more staff as they clearly can't handle a midnight rush. Also, the expo person never changed their gloves, in the 30 min I was there I watched her rub her face at least 6 times, touch trash, and go back to bagging food. This location was so understaffed and overwhelmed. They had a huge rush and instead of them stopping the line to get all the orders out they just kept going . Which resulted in me witnessing a waitress getting yelled out because some costumers never received their shakes and have been waiting 30 mins and finished their meals. I know that a lot of places are overworked and handling things as best they can during these tough times and following covid guidelines. I order my food and they messed it but again I am a very understanding, patient person so we respectfully asked for the issue to be fixed. That took awhile. They weren't giving orders out in correct order so people with a larger order then mine was receiving all their stuff before I did. I waited over a hour and half for me shake to come out. Which again I am understanding but when I asked her she said thank you for being patient I am catching up . I kindly mentioned I understand but that family order way after me so though I am understanding I was already waiting over a hour for my food and longer for my shake. Though I felt bad. They didn't handle the situation correctly and they just kept backing up the order because they were deciding to make the people who ordered wait instead of the people that are in-line way. I can't tell you how disappointed I am about my burger tonight. Remember, this is about a $10 burger. We have been at Harrahs four nights. We ate here the first night and the last. Both times they didn't get my burger right. We had the same woman taking our order each time, and even though she got it right, the burger makers couldn't. My request was easy ... raw onion, tomato, no pickles. The crunchy raw onion does it for me. Both times I ordered it, but didn't get it. Tonight no onion and five pickles. The tomato slices are lame! Tiny, end pieces. Really? We had smash fries on FRI night and smash Tots tonight. Both times the grease dripping through the container was so gross!! Serve customers uncooked hamburger, then when you bring it to their attention the cook comes out from the kitchen and gives you the snake eye. We went to this restaurant on a friend's recommendation but everything was substandard. The place was empty, dark looking and uninviting. The order taker made three mistakes in taking our order for five people. 1. I ordered a double but got a single. 2. My niece asked about truffle fries in her combo, declined them, but got charged for them. 3. She didn't receive truffle fries. The food came up and not one of the five burgers was marked, yet every one was different. We had to open and check each one to see which burger went to which person. The fries that we got were all half full. And don't forget, no truffle fries. The burger buns were refrigerator-cold, not even room temperature. The burgers were Smashed alright, but I thought that referred to the meat patty, not the entire sandwich. A sign on the soda machine stated, no refills to prevent the spread of disease. Couldn't they just offer a new cup to get the same results and provide this benefit to the customer? So we had a bad experience, got overcharged, ate poorly prepared, underserved portions of food and left completely unsatisfied. Needless to say, we won't eat at Smashed Burger again. read more

Harrahs Casino of Laughlin only has a few restaurants to choose from, yet, both Smashburger & Pin-Up Pizza choose to close at their convenience, as opposed to honoring their advertised hours of operation, which clearly state both businesses are open till MIDNIGHT. On 11/03/2020 my friend & I arrived 10 minutes prior to MIDNIGHT, only to be refused service, thus leaving us without the ability to eat, as we had both been drinking, and didn't feel driving to pick up food was a viable option, merely to compensate for SMASHBURGER's Manager -- Anna Moreno -- having closed early!! Harrahs staff informed they do this systemically, for which leaves patrons commonly complaining! Bring food if you're gonna stay at this shit-hole... what a desolate lodge!! read more

Amazing burgers. Very tender and well seasoned. The one thing that I don't think works is the choice to use rosemary to season their fries. I can see what they are going for, I mean baked potatoes and other potato sides are enjoyed with a seasoning of rosemary. Rosemary, nothing against it, I love it and the fries were well cooked and fresh. Rosemary is just a flavor I more expect to experience enjoying a steak dinner or fine dining course and not so much when I'm going to eat a burger. Everything else is well done. Smashburger Harrah's Laughlin It is interesting that if you ask employees at Harrah's why McDonalds was dumped from the hotel, they all say it was due to McDonalds charging higher rates then the normal outlets. Most cost conscious casino customers wanted the breakfast deals and avoided the Beach Cafe and the Buffet. Now comes Smashburger with no breakfast and supposed to open everyday at 10am. Wrong!!! They are closed most days until 5pm. Then we have the price. They charge more then the advertised price on the Harrah's Laughlin web page. That's was the reason that McDonalds was dumped. They are doing the same unfair overcharging for their mediocre burgers & fry's and provide no breakfast. It appears that Starbucks is gaining customers for their breakfast items. A plus for them! At least McDonalds provided jobs for people with disabilities which has now vanished from the hotel/casino. SAD !!! read more

This SmashBurger is a new addition to Harrahs, which replaced McDonald's. Although there won't be any value menu options for those late night munchies, I'm really happy with this change, given that all the offerings are made to order with fresh ingredients, including never frozen patties. Also, this seems to have a more limited menu from regular SmashBurgers, but at least their breakfast options are available 24/7. read more

Also had their strawberry shake, just because and yea it's really refreshing and not sweet at all. Also ordered their rosemary fries and it was really well seasoned and quite addictive. Slightly greasy, but good flavor. The people working today are really attentive. Lots of staff here to help out. This location is in Harrah's casino. Too bad they're not open later. read more
