There was 2 ladies working there, the younger one training the older one. We noticed that the younger one was rude to the new lady at first before anything. After that she messed up our order and claims we told her the opposite. We clearly remember saying one thing when she asked. She then has an attitude, throws the sandwiches away and then us made a new order, the older lady was attempting to help remake the order when the younger lady looks at her and says, and I quote, "I fucking got it" and makes her do another thing. Sandwich was good and what you would expect from Subway, but be careful when checking out. My husband paid with card and he was slow with adding a tip and they added it in also, so it got doubled. I asked for a receipt and they tried to cover it up by cancelling the $41 transaction that was only $33 (with no tip) when they re-rang it up. A Subway in a gas station in Needles. And I give it 5 stars? You bet. They have easy parking. It's easy to get to from I-40. (I love easy on and easy off) The food is prepared really well and is fresh. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. The table/chairs/floor are kept clean. I like how there's a variety of tables for all kinds of groups. You have to use the main bathroom which is shared by DQ and the minimart for the Shell. At least it's big. But you know why it's 5 stars? They have a statue of Spike and you can take your photo with him. (I'm a huge Peanuts fan. Spike is the brother of Snoopy who lives in Needles). I ordered a turkey sandwich but when the sandwich got to the second employee with no name tag, there was an unusual sense of hostility and I could tell she wanted me to know she wasn't going to play along "with the script" of polite employee.
