My first time stopping in on my way home to California. The reviews were quite comical, people complain about the service like it's Disneyland... You're in the middle of the desert in a small town. My experience tonight, the staff was kind. They were doing their job, making food fresh as ordered and maintaining a clean atmosphere. I did not get the staffs name, but the gentleman with glasses was chill and gave us recommendations between the different breads. The blonde guy with curly hair was quick on making the order. The girls working were actively cleaning both the back of house and the dining room. Overall, I think they did an amazing job. I would stop by again passing through. read more

We ordered a few personal size pizzas and a Philly cheesesteak sub -- all were hot, delicious, and consumed down to the crumbs. We have ordered pizza and salads from here many of times after a long day on the water with no issues, but this time we were extremely disappointed. We picked up the pizzas and once bringing them home all 3 pizzas were burnt!! I don't understand how employees can pull burnt pizzas out of the oven and serve them to customers. We immediately called and asked them to remake our pizzas. We then drove back to the store and encountered Rachelle who was immediately confrontational and attempted to debate whether the pizzas were burnt. Pictures included, you be the judge.... Apparently the customer is not always right and they are ok with serving burnt food. Additionally, in our initial order we asked for extra ranch and paid for it but again when we asked for the extra ranch that was owed to us, Rachelle proceeded to look up our order on the computer in which it said 4x Ranch, instead of just simply walking to the cooler and grabbing a couple extra for the inconvenience of having to come back to the store from our house leaving a house full of hungry people waiting. River City was not apologetic for any part of our order and did nothing to compensate. I was astounded at how we were treated when the error was solely River City's fault. Needless to say, we will be looking for a new pizza place. I would rather have Digiorno than return to River City again. read more

What an awesome surprise! Went to dinner here because it was next door to our hotel. The food was great. We started with a salad that was delicious. My wife had the personal size "River City Combo" pizza and I had the an Italian sub. Both were fantastic. The restaurant owner (Jimmie) was welcoming as soon as we walked in. We ordered a pizza & two Italian subs, we sat down, got our pizza about 20 minutes after, and the people who ordered the pizza were able to eat and be done and then we waited about 10 minutes after they finished & ended up just asking for our subs togo and proceeded to wait another 10 minutes. The pizza had a great crispy fire oven crust and the fresh garlic that they add made the pizza amazing! The antipasto was just as delicious with fresh ingredients. Foods are actually good but I am not impressed with the customer service. We ordered everything on the phone so we can just pick up the food right away and do not need to wait that long. After ordering the cashier mentioned that everything was $56. I didn't question it at first but I looked at the menu again and added all the prices it should only be $36. When we got at the restaurant, the cashier was about to charge us $56. I asked them what are they charging me to cost that much. She stated that she charged me 4 extra ranch for $2.25 each and 1 extra salad dressing for $0.75 on top of my order. But when I added everything it was only $42. She had to look at her screen again for the 4th time and that's when she realized that she was charging me 3 salads instead of 2. When I received my order I only got 3 ranch instead of 4. I didn't want to bother them anymore. For our salad, we ordered no olive, mushroom, and tomatoes in one of them but guessed what? They are all in there. My mom had to pick each one of them out so she can eat the salad. On the other hand the food is good. I wish they could have put more cheese in the bread instead of just the middle part. read more

I hate to see these one-star reviews for this place. Mostly about service some about the wings.... let's remember that this is a pizza joint in the middle of Needles across from abandoned and gated-off hotels and just down the street from a dispensary. That being said, this place is clean, it's priced fair, the pizza is great, it has beer and wine, and the two guys who were working on a holiday weekend were killing it!! There was no issue with service or anything. This place supports their local youth both in sports and the military. There are pictures of many of them on the walls. They also support a police/military K9 organization. Did I say the pizza was great? The only other food I can comment on is their Garlic Cheesy bread... which was AMAZING. Stop being bougie and spolied idiots. You're not in some romantical land, surrounded by amazing art, artifacts, and monuments. You're in Needles at one of the entries to the Colorado River where everyone is wearing tank tops and flip-flops. If the service bothers you (which is shouldn't) they deliver too. I have driven by this place 1000 times and finally made a stop inside. First glance, looked clean & we sat ourselves. It took us a while but we finally realized you go up to order, so that was a little confusing. Menu is easy to read & food came out really fast. We ordered 4 pizzas, a house salad & wings. The salad was delicious, all of the pizzas were really good as well. Except the bbq chicken could not hold up the toppings, so that was a bummer. The wings on the other hand were awful. Out of 8 of us, no one enjoyed them. They were so beyond over cooked and burnt, the sauce was crispy burnt but the inside was sooooo dry. All in all, we enjoyed it. Price was normalish/semi steep. My husband and I found this place while traveling to bullhead so we decided stop in. The customer service was BAD. I told the young man (Tall, blond haired, blue eyed) taking our order that we were from out of town and may need time to review the menu before we ordered. Mind you there was no one in the restaurant so he was waiting on no one else. As we began ordering he became inpatient and gave us this irritated wide eyed look like "Hurry up". My husband and I just ignored his ignorance and continued to order. Upon receiving our order the same young man brings it to our table and I said thank you so much, he just turns around and walks away. No "you're welcome, thank you for coming in please come back" like a normal restaurant employee. As we got to the car I noticed he gave no ranch for my wings so my husband goes back in and asked. The same man starts yelling at the girl helping my husband " He can only have one!!" So unprofessional. we bought two orders of wings I think you should at least give one per order but apparently they're tight on money. The wings we got "burnt" The pizza was greasy and salty And the antipasto salad was not antipasto it was a bunch of stuff thrown together. We $86 for a terrible experience all around. Lastly, I hate to bring race into it because I hope that's not the case and they treat all their customers like garbage , but I couldn't help but feel like the fact that we are Hispanic contributed to how we were treated. This is a small, locally owned "mom + pop" spot, small table count (I'd say under 10), seat yourself and order at counter. I ordered the ravioli with marinara to go, and the ladies had it ready in about 15 minutes. (Probably under). Service was GREAT! They took care in wrapping it to go so it wasn't a mess, wrapped my bread separately and brought it out to me even tho I was easily within "hey it's ready!" Distance. Walked into the restaurant and it was clean and we were greeted promptly. The restaurant was empty and we were the only customers the entire time we were there. We ordered one large and one small with jalapeño poppers a fountain drink and one Coors light. Came out to the large amount of $70 and some change. Received the poppers after the first pizza came out. No biggy, just waiting a long time and hoped for an appetizer while waiting. We then started eating out pizza and my husbands chicken one was terrible! The chicken was so beyond chewy, like it's been nuked a couple times in the microwave. He ate two pieces and just gave up on it. He said it just tasted burnt all over. I got a normal pepperoni pizza, pepperoni came out burnt on it and the sauce was over powering in oregano or something and insanely greasy. Sadly we are not a fan of this place.
