Overall a decent spot. Small town pizza place with that family owned feel that is so overlooked these days. The pizza (the river city) was loaded with toppings and had great flavor. The soda took me back to being a kid from my hometown.... I wish they would provide a more sturdy plate for the dine in customer. Thin paper plates soak up the grease and you get the rest lol. When through needles and needing a bite, I will for sure be back. read more

So I can come in at 8 pm Friday, Aug 14 with my wife to River City Pizza and order the River combo. I was mad that I gave a tip before I got my pizza because it had no sauce. When I said no sauce, I lifted the toppings and cheese; it was like they used a brush to paint the sauce on as thin as painting a wall. come. Yes, I should've had pictures. My best bet is to stay away read more

Wow.....how embarrassing. I'm a bit fond of the Domino's Philly pizza so wife and I gave it a try. No onions or mushrooms and the cheese was bland as hell. Very clean restaurant and nice staff but won't be back. Thought about a couple salads but at $11.50 for one.....naw. I never thought I'd recommend Domino's over anybody but this is tasteless. read more

This pizza spot is conveniently located next door to the Hampton Inn and was a great place to grab dinner after we had been traveling a long distance. It was a Friday night and not too busy. We decided to eat at the restaurant and were able to snag a table right away. They have a selection of beverages and a selection of pizzas but still offer the option to customize with your favorite toppings. The pizza was very tasty. I appreciate that the salad came before our pizza. We had so much for the two of us that we needed to take some to go. read more

We stopped here on our way to Arizona, after a along day of travel. The place was clean, the bathrooms were clean and a welcome break from a gas station. They have military/ LEO photos up, and as a veteran myself, I love that. The pizza was good- the kiddo said "this is the best cheese". Clean, fast, and delish. What more can you ask for? read more

Basic pizza! If you are starving or have been drinking all day then this is your place. However I found the pizza to have thick chewy crust, an odd tasting rubber like cheese and flavorless sauce. The ranch dressing is watered down for the salad so don't bother and order another dressing. With so many pizza places in the area I would skip this one. read more

My first time stopping in on my way home to California. The reviews were quite comical, people complain about the service like it's Disneyland... You're in the middle of the desert in a small town. My experience tonight, the staff was kind. They were doing their job, making food fresh as ordered and maintaining a clean atmosphere. I did not get the staffs name, but the gentleman with glasses was chill and gave us recommendations between the different breads. The blonde guy with curly hair was quick on making the order. The girls working were actively cleaning both the back of house and the dining room. Overall, I think they did an amazing job. I would stop by again passing through. read more

We arrived in Needles in the late evening and found this spot for a great meal for our family. We ordered a few personal size pizzas and a Philly cheesesteak sub -- all were hot, delicious, and consumed down to the crumbs. The pizza dough was crisp on the outside and perfectly chewy on the inside. The pizza sauce was tasty and it had the right amount of cheese. My daughter shared that her Philly cheesesteak was amongst her top 3 - top 2 are from Philly. When we come through Needles again, we'd definitely eat here again. read more

First impression tried to call and no answer. Walked in and was empty. It has lots of take out orders. Not friendly or hospitable but at the end of the night I get it. Pretty decent pizza. Stayed at the hotel right next to this restaurant. I normally would order a salad and call it a night but wanted to try their pizza. Had the antipasto salad with house dressing and meat lovers pizza. We have ordered pizza and salads from here many of times after a long day on the water with no issues, but this time we were extremely disappointed. We picked up the pizzas and once bringing them home all 3 pizzas were burnt!! I don't understand how employees can pull burnt pizzas out of the oven and serve them to customers. We immediately called and asked them to remake our pizzas. We then drove back to the store and encountered Rachelle who was immediately confrontational and attempted to debate whether the pizzas were burnt. Pictures included, you be the judge.... Apparently the customer is not always right and they are ok with serving burnt food. Additionally, in our initial order we asked for extra ranch and paid for it but again when we asked for the extra ranch that was owed to us, Rachelle proceeded to look up our order on the computer in which it said 4x Ranch, instead of just simply walking to the cooler and grabbing a couple extra for the inconvenience of having to come back to the store from our house leaving a house full of hungry people waiting. River City was not apologetic for any part of our order and did nothing to compensate. I was astounded at how we were treated when the error was solely River City's fault. Needless to say, we will be looking for a new pizza place. I would rather have Digiorno than return to River City again. read more

We ordered lasagna and spaghetti with marinara and added 2 meatballs. Delivery would be one hour but actually came a bit early. The lasagna didn't look like lasagna as much as a manicotti filled with ricotta cheese-there were tiny pieces of meat but not enough to taste. The spaghetti was good enough and the meatballs-though very small-were good. We ordered because we were tired after a long day on the road. But I don't think I would order pasta again. It wasn't a good enough value or taste. Maybe their pizza is better. read more

Foods are actually good but I am not impressed with the customer service. We ordered everything on the phone so we can just pick up the food right away and do not need to wait that long. After ordering the cashier mentioned that everything was $56. I didn't question it at first but I looked at the menu again and added all the prices it should only be $36. When we got at the restaurant, the cashier was about to charge us $56. I asked them what are they charging me to cost that much. She stated that she charged me 4 extra ranch for $2.25 each and 1 extra salad dressing for $0.75 on top of my order. But when I added everything it was only $42. She had to look at her screen again for the 4th time and that's when she realized that she was charging me 3 salads instead of 2. When I received my order I only got 3 ranch instead of 4. I didn't want to bother them anymore. For our salad, we ordered no olive, mushroom, and tomatoes in one of them but guessed what? They are all in there. My mom had to pick each one of them out so she can eat the salad. On the other hand the food is good. I wish they could have put more cheese in the bread instead of just the middle part. read more

What an awesome surprise! Went to dinner here because it was next door to our hotel. The food was great. We started with a salad that was delicious. My wife had the personal size "River City Combo" pizza and I had the an Italian sub. Both were fantastic. The restaurant owner (Jimmie) was welcoming as soon as we walked in. The restaurant was very clean and they were pumping out the orders with expertise. And to top it off the beers were ice cold. We will definitely eat here again every time we drive through town. read more

Stopped by Needles and randomly saw this restaurant. Ordered to go their combo pizza and antipasto salad. The pizza had a great crispy fire oven crust and the fresh garlic that they add made the pizza amazing! The antipasto was just as delicious with fresh ingredients. I was not in mood for pizza but food in Needles is limited. I ordered the Brown butter pasta and Mizithera cheese. Just don't order it. It's poorly made. Not at all like Spaghetti Factory in California. No sauce and yes it was burnt. Also don't order egg rolls. The worst. What was I thinking???!!! Maybe my fault. I was at a pizza joint. My husband said he enjoyed the chicken wings. Good homemade ranch. Ceasar salad was also good. A good dressing . Good portion on salad. The price is pricey for the food and it's very modest inside. I think I would gamble the pizza is good. Stick to what they do best. Friendly nice staff. read more

Food was yummy... hit the spot! A plus is the cold wine! Service was quick! Boat parking across the street.

I hate to see these one-star reviews for this place. Mostly about service some about the wings.... let's remember that this is a pizza joint in the middle of Needles across from abandoned and gated-off hotels and just down the street from a dispensary. That being said, this place is clean, it's priced fair, the pizza is great, it has beer and wine, and the two guys who were working on a holiday weekend were killing it!! There was no issue with service or anything. This place supports their local youth both in sports and the military. There are pictures of many of them on the walls. They also support a police/military K9 organization. Did I say the pizza was great? The only other food I can comment on is their Garlic Cheesy bread... which was AMAZING. Stop being bougie and spolied idiots. You're not in some romantical land, surrounded by amazing art, artifacts, and monuments. You're in Needles at one of the entries to the Colorado River where everyone is wearing tank tops and flip-flops. If the service bothers you (which is shouldn't) they deliver too. Order it and be happy. read more

have eaten here and it has always been great....however this pasta dish was horrible. The pasta was not properly stirred in the cooking process...and or reheated. Either was just wrong. The pizza was really good.. cutting corners..... read more

I have driven by this place 1000 times and finally made a stop inside. First glance, looked clean & we sat ourselves. It took us a while but we finally realized you go up to order, so that was a little confusing. Menu is easy to read & food came out really fast. We ordered 4 pizzas, a house salad & wings. The salad was delicious, all of the pizzas were really good as well. Except the bbq chicken could not hold up the toppings, so that was a bummer. The wings on the other hand were awful. Out of 8 of us, no one enjoyed them. They were so beyond over cooked and burnt, the sauce was crispy burnt but the inside was sooooo dry. All in all, we enjoyed it. Price was normalish/semi steep. Parking is easy & has room for trailers. read more

My husband and I found this place while traveling to bullhead so we decided stop in. The customer service was BAD. I told the young man (Tall, blond haired, blue eyed) taking our order that we were from out of town and may need time to review the menu before we ordered. Mind you there was no one in the restaurant so he was waiting on no one else. As we began ordering he became inpatient and gave us this irritated wide eyed look like "Hurry up". My husband and I just ignored his ignorance and continued to order. Upon receiving our order the same young man brings it to our table and I said thank you so much, he just turns around and walks away. No "you're welcome, thank you for coming in please come back" like a normal restaurant employee. As we got to the car I noticed he gave no ranch for my wings so my husband goes back in and asked. The same man starts yelling at the girl helping my husband " He can only have one!!" So unprofessional. we bought two orders of wings I think you should at least give one per order but apparently they're tight on money. The wings we got "burnt" The pizza was greasy and salty And the antipasto salad was not antipasto it was a bunch of stuff thrown together. We $86 for a terrible experience all around. Lastly, I hate to bring race into it because I hope that's not the case and they treat all their customers like garbage , but I couldn't help but feel like the fact that we are Hispanic contributed to how we were treated. Do better people!!! We are American. read more

Across the parking lot from the Hampton Inn, River City was recommended by the receptionist at the Hampton. She recommended the meatball sandwich, but I'm a ravioli kindof girl, and that's what I ordered. This is a small, locally owned "mom + pop" spot, small table count (I'd say under 10), seat yourself and order at counter. I ordered the ravioli with marinara to go, and the ladies had it ready in about 15 minutes. (Probably under). Service was GREAT! They took care in wrapping it to go so it wasn't a mess, wrapped my bread separately and brought it out to me even tho I was easily within "hey it's ready!" Distance. I was so hungry and it was so good I didn't have a chance to get a pic, but I'd definitely recommend for the ravioli (and I ear-hussled another couple leaving on my way in telling the counter their pizza was delish!) read more
