a hand holding a hamburger with lettuce, tomato, and onion
Ethan T.

Smashburger has always delivered good food. However, be certain to keep an eye on your receipt. Upon receiving my receipt, the sweet potato fries that I had ordered were marked 20 cents higher than what the menu stated. The workers admitted the error. However, I wasn't offered any type of compensation for the price discrepancy.

You can tell it was freshly made. My fiancé and I split two burgers and both were AMAZING!

Cool, cozy, booth seating!

Very clean restaurant and friendly service. The food is delicious, especially the grilled brussel sprouts!

Spicy baja black bean burger- guacamole, cheese and tomato- patty is too mushy

I give 4 stars mainly for the french fries.. The best french fries I've had.. Very thin but crispy outside and soft inside. Perfect texture. I wouldn't suggest black bean burger.. It was almost some kind of bean pate.. so mushy .. I really didn't like the texture. Fried chicken burger is pretty good. If you like fried chicken, try this. Sweet potato fries are OK. Friendly service.

The North Dakota with chili cheese fries

One word: Amazing. I had a religious experience with a cheeseburger. I got the bigger smash burger with North Dakota toppings. If I could swear right now this post would be riddled with profanity saying how awesome the food was. I also added the chili cheese fries that were really good also. The chili was very good and they topped them with fresh jalapenos and onions. I haven't stopped talking about this burger and every time i drive by I am tempted to stop in again. I thought I loved Five Guys and meatheads, but apparently I'm an idiot. This was by far the best burger I've ever had. Don't trust the reviews saying that it's greasy, those are the jucies they're not used to from a non frozen burger. I might go back and marry that burger.

I've had Smash Burger plenty of times back home in the Twin Cities, but I wanted a quick bite to eat and found a Smash Burger in Fargo! I'm writing this to review the burger I ate (Smash Burger already = AWESOME). I ordered the North Dakota (didn't know NoDak had a burger named after itself). It consisted of layers of melted cheddar bar cheese, Swiss cheese, spicy grilled onions, lettuce, tomato and mayo on a pretzel bun. Absolutely nothing sucks about this burger, NOTHING. The melted cheese with the onions was fantastic and no one can complain about the pretzel bun, which was soft and tasted great. If you're ever in NoDak, stop at Smash Burger and get the burger they named after the state!

North Dakota burger is the best. I've had many burgers from all over the country. This is the best damn cheeseburger I've ever had.

The place has a…read morefun, high-energy garage theme with automotive décor everywhere you look--neon signs, vintage gas station vibes, and a laid-back atmosphere that makes it perfect for families, date nights, or grabbing food with friends. The burger selection is honestly impressive. With 50+ specialty burgers on the menu, there's something for everyone--from classic builds to bold creations piled high with unique toppings. The quality of the beef stands out: juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. Even the buns hold up well against the towering stacks. Beyond burgers, they've got solid appetizers (the fried pickles and cheese curds are local favorites), good wings, and a wide beer selection featuring regional and national brews. Portion sizes are generous, so come hungry. Service is typically friendly and fast-paced, even when it's busy--which it often is. It's a popular spot for a reason. Overall: Great food, fun atmosphere, and tons of variety. If you love creative burgers and a lively setting, Sickies Garage in Fargo delivers.

For an appetizer, I ordered the cheese curds, they were hot, but very average. Not bad, not great, just your standard bar-style curds. For my meal, I decided to try something different and went with the donut burger. Definitely an odd combo, but it was fun to try while in town. Flavor-wise, it was fine, unique, but not something I'd order again. The mac and cheese side, though, was a miss. Easily one of the weakest parts of the meal. I'm not sure why so many restaurants struggle with mac and cheese but still feel confident charging extra for it. On the bright side, the $5 happy hour drinks were great, generous pours and a solid bartender. Overall, this place is your average, run-of-the-mill sports bar. Nothing special, but not bad if you're just looking for a casual spot to grab a drink and a bite.

The menu has the usual pub fare - wings, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. But on Saturdays and Sundays from 9-1, the menu expands to things like omelets, hash, Benedicts and breakfast sandwiches. So, when our Friday night hotel bartender recommended Lucky's for breakfast, well, we knew where we'd be headed. The breakfast service we encountered on Saturday was extraordinary, so hats off to our server Beth. Our party of ten walked in when breakfast opened, and she quickly set up a few long tables for our group. Oh, and she set out two coloring activities and crayons for the two young guests in our group. Our breakfast started with complimentary bowls of popcorn and we saw some very interesting eye openers on the menu, like a Breakfast Punch (with Rum, orange and pineapple juice, strawberry purée, and ginger ale), a Lucky's Blueberry Pancake Shooter (with Stoli Blueberry vodka, Butterscotch, Orange Bacardi, and a slice of bacon) and a Keoki Coffee (with Kahlua, Baileys Irish Cream, coffee and whipped cream). We passed on these alcoholic temptations; Beth took our orders flawlessly and the food started rolling out of the kitchen in no time. We started off with a order of Beignets for the table ($9.99) - "Deep-fried beignets made with croissant dough, topped with powdered sugar & a side of strawberry jam. I tried one and it was very good -piping hot, light as a feather, but surprisingly not greasy. My wife ordered a Ham and Cheese Omelet ($13.99 served with her choice of toast and a side of fresh fruit, home fries or cheesy baked hash browns. It was a generous portion and the fruit cup she ordered was fresh and tasty. My Cajun Hash ($15.49 with Andouille disks, shredded chicken, two big shrimp, peppers, onions, cheesy hash, & scrambled eggs) was one of the best breakfasts I've had all year. It was a gigantic portion, and I was more than full with half of it. Beth was automatic with the coffee refills, was very sweet dealing with the two children in our party and gladly gave our couples separate checks. One very cool thing we saw was a "Treasure chest" full of children's toys, coloring books, and activities as freebies for the little darlings that visit. These weren't junky dollar store toys, but some nice stuff. We could not have been happier with our breakfast at Lucky's 13.
