They added lettuce and jalapeños, which I declined to have because I don't do very good with jalapeños. It was just a disaster. Why would they assume before even getting the bill that it was being paid by credit card. They are not disclosing how much the credit card fee is, and hiding it at the bottom, like paying cash gives you a discount. This is so disingenuous. Inflated amounts are being used to base tips on and I am not falling for this B.S. To the owners....Just do the right thing before you chase off all your good customers.

The bad: when I entered, the sign said wait to be seated and so I did. They have 1 person running the register which does clog up because when you are done eating here, you walk up and pay. This caused confusion into who is waiting to be seated vs. paying. I stood around for 10 minutes before a staff member offered to help. Staff should know who is coming and going but I have compassion when it gets busy. I pointed to the sign and said is it seat yourself? The staff member looked confused so I told her that I have been waiting on a table. It shouldn't take 10 minutes to iron out customers. Recommendations include another staff member at the front to control new walk ins to mitigate confusion or better attention from the staff at the register. The ugly: I thought I left my wireless mouse there as I worked from my computer. When I called to inquire about my missing item, the staff member was rude , she put me on hold after I stated my reason for calling and said she needed to help another customer. When she came back on the line, she proceeded to not really care about my ask, couldn't hear my ask correctly in the first place and then asked where I was sitting. This was such a turn off for me. Still, the 3 stars is because it can be wildly inconsistent. Sometimes their fries are great, sometimes not. Sometimes the prime rib is great, sometimes not. Sometimes the burgers look like they were handmade, sometimes not. There really doesn't seem to be a pattern, at least not on the consumer end. Maybe they have very different cooks on weekdays vs weekends. No idea. It's still the best place in the area.
