If you call ahead to order, and the phone is off the hook, you can still head in and get food. They just might be especially busy, or they could be rotating their staff through breaks after the rush. Stop in if you're not in a huge hurry and you'll still be very satisfied with food if the phone line ever rings and rings, you might check out their Facebook page to see if they're closed for a local or special event. I dreamt about that all night which is what prompted me to return the next afternoon. This time I settled for one scoop of dough and one scoop of ice cream. I somehow couldn't justify six scoops of sugary goodness in less than 24 hours. The place is small and there was a line each time but they're very efficient and the wait was minimal. They have a few tables inside and a table or two outside in the alley way where you can watch people on a nice summer afternoon or evening. If I didn't live two plane flights away from this place I'd be in serious danger.

I think there is maybe a parking garage nearby but your best option is to just park along the street or somewhere downtown and walk. You can only get to Scoop N Dough by walking, biking, or other non-motorized vehicular routes. Though the experience of cookie dough & ice cream is great, I do think it's pretty extravagant. The cookie dough is incredibly sweet and rich, and I can never finish my cup because it almost makes my stomach hurt, it's just too much for me. So that's just a warning- it still tastes fantastic and is fun to try at least once. And I did see they are getting another location along 32nd Ave, almost in West Fargo, which is cool!
