The tacos came with chopped white onions and cilantro. The beef consomme was good. It was good pouring or dipping the tacos into it, which was the purpose of the broth. I do recommend that when they warm up the tortillas on the hot griddle, they pour a little bit of the consomme on the tortillas for that added texture, flavor, and color. The service was very friendly. The two gents in the truck were in good spirits. Although it is a food truck, they do offer tables and chairs on the sidewalk. That is cool.

We ordered the mixed cup ceviche which was super good and extremely fresh. It came with two fried corn tortillas that you could break into chips and put the ceviche on top. We ordered 4 tacos: grilled octopus, battered shrimp, skirt steak, and grilled fish. Our favorite by far was the octopus. It was so tender and seasoned perfectly. Battered shrimp was also wonderful. Least favorites were probably the grilled fish and the steak. The fish taco didn't have a veggies on it, just avocado so it felt like it was missing something. The steak taco was slightly under seasoned. Overall Oscar's was a hit and I'd gladly come back

They also offer free seafood consume, which taste great on the fish taco, as a tortilla chip dip, or just on its own to sip on (although a bit on the salty side). There was a canopy set up with too long tables to provide some shade while eating. They also have napkins and hand sanitizer available. Overall, a great spot for some fish tacos!

The tacos are fairly large, and honestly two tacos were fine for me, so M. enjoyed four tacos and was happy about that. They have a selection of sauces that are labeled. They were out of the habanero, but the green jalapeño one was tasty with just a bit of heat. If you are in the mission valley area, this is a good taco Tuesday deal. This place has been here for 14 years. And everyone feels like family. Kind and welcoming with a great variety of choices carefully curated. Clearly one of the unexpected best in La Jolla (Bird Rock entry area). Jan, her granddaughter and son are all hooked on the Lamb Lollipops, not on happy hour. She says: "They're really charred, really good and I love the Balsamic Glaze. I could eat these once a week". Judy's favorites are Smashburger and the Grilled Caesar Salad. Robyn loves the Caesar too! I'm pleased that they do a quick grill with the romaine lettuce. Nice touch! Great dressing! All the things you usually have to ask for like napkins and water are readily available. It's an 'order and we will bring it to you' kind of place. Seats around 20 inside and another 28 outside. I'm just guessing here. If you go for an early happy hour like we did, you will miss the later time rush. MORE ABOUT THE FOOD Kelly loves the pork belly tacos. And she also likes the shrimp tacos. Robyn likes them so much that she orders another round of three. Jan says: "This is a funky place with great food". I think "It's more beachy and artsy, than funky". But what do I know! lol Personally, I just love that a former staff member is all the artwork on the walls. The food is created with love and so is the ambiance. The owner Craig is warm and welcoming. I guess that's where the staff gets it from. Craig recommends a reserve bottle that holds up nicely to the food that is full flavored and sometimes spicy. It's pleasantly unexpected that they have a full list of reserve bottles to try. This has the most variety of any happy hour we've gone to. The staff are very friendly and helpful with busing tables. Unfortunately, we didn't see that the poke bowl came with a sesame eel sauce, so it was overly sweet for our liking. Additionally, the coconut rice was too sweet and very mushy. Kind of disappointed in the flavor as everything was too sweet and too mushy. The only thing that we really enjoyed was the blood orange IPA, which is not too hoppy and a great beer! A goodly portion to share with someone too. The rib-eye was flavorful and cooked just right. Being a local Hawaiian kid from the islands, I love rice and this was some good sticky rice like I grew up with in Hawaii. Nicely done. The tables are nice, but very dirty and unhealthy. If I had my own food truck there, I would go out and wipe them off before I opened and every once in awhile after, just because I'm that kind of guy. They were actually kind of disgusting and we were very careful with our 5yo son and what he was touching. It looked like there was a lot of bird poop on the tables. Birds near food in San Diego? Go figure.... ;) I realize that the tables belong to the city, but I, personally, would clean them off before I opened. Just a thought. Downside. There are not a lot of trash options, only one. When we were all pau, I looked around and there was only one trash can nearby and it was overflowing. I think it has nothing to do the the Seoul Man Food Truck and may be a San Diego city thing, but it looked bad and was kind of a bummer to see that trash overflowing. I would have not known of the Seoul Man Food Truck was here, but I will definitely check their location the next time I'm in San Diego. Very good food! Oh, and don't forget to redeem the $2 off any entree, because I did since I just now saw it as I posted my review. :(
